It's a great knife made by a shitty freedom hating company, it's going to take more than a fantastic steel with godly ergonomics on the handle to walk back their commie gun hating politics.
Very nice looking knife. Got a set of their throwers last week. They're great so far. Your first impressions are more thorough than most others reviews. Well done sir!
Love a puuko ! First noticed them while serving in the Army in Europe and instantly was addicted! Don’t leave home without one! Lol!! Chris have ya ever seen or reviewed one of Pete Winkler’s knives from Cross Knives? He is an amazing artist of the forge, he is in New Paris, Ohio. If not ya oughta look them up, ya won’t be disappointed. Thanks for your vids there great!!
I have several Condor knives as they are well made and functional. They used to be great value but the prices here in the UK have doubled so for the extra money I would now recommend Tops which are far better. The sheath on this one doesn’t seem to have a welt so I would fear the knife cutting through. Great review though.
Can you speak about its quality. I have condors, bark river ,LT Wright, evan Martin , marttiini knives and others. Im looking for more variety........ can you tell me about it.
@@mikemorgan8960 They are user knives. High quality steel, heat treatment and wicked sharpness, but less refined finishing than mid tech. Good price for solid user knives I think.
It looks to be a very good knife... However... I think you are paying more for the non functional aspects of the knife and sheath which is fine... I like the handle and the work done on the sheath... But my Morakniv Bushcraft Black can do anything this knife can do for half the price... Yep... I baton my Mora quite a bit and it does just fine for not being a full tang... I just wish they would have upgraded the steel a bit for the price... Still... Those who have purchased it have a really nice knife that should last them for a long time... Different strokes for different folks...
Not "indigenous" to Finland, home of the "puukko." Fills the same niche, but has a full-width tang, unlike any true puukko. Has a ricasso, unlike a puukko. Handle too square in the cross section for a puukko. Low bevel like a Scandinavian knife and not a puukko (Finns are not Scandinavian.) Comparable to a Helle full tang. Looks like it would cut just fine, even if you call it a" Bowie" or a "pickle." 😜
If you carry it on your belt be sure to wear it on your left hand side otherwise the sheath will be Erect 😂😂 I kid you not,btw Puukko just means knife in Scandinavian country’s
Dude you got some shaky hands .. that is a knife that does look a little different.. it looks a little more like a show off knife than one I would want to put thru the ringer .. not saying it wouldn't handle the task .. just it's one I would want to keep pristine ....
Cool little blade thank you for sharing and for all of the hard work you put it into all of you videos cheers
I love that Condor is going with more 1095 on the smaller blades. Love to see the Frontier and Bushlore in a 1095. Big thumbs up! Atb Sean
I would have broken a 1095 bushlore twice now...
@@ivankrylov6270 That's because you have a Kung Fu grip bro. Relax let the knife do the work.lol!
@@Seancmccormick no its because I got it stuck batoning and had to rescue it with an axe lol
Bring the woodlaw back in 1095
If it's a chunk of metal that's kinda sharp with a handle...it's made to baton.
Been rocking mine since it came out its my favourite I use it as my main EDC knife
As usual love your reviews because your witty AF and your providing great information Chris!
Very cool knife. The longer I spend in the woods I realize how little I need. Even the knife doesn't require more than that one provides
Thanks Chris
It was the Condor Heron that you reviewed and I bought it on yours and Will's review and am not disappointed in the least.
I love Condor. I've had a parang for years, and it's my go-to when it comes to heavy brush.
Looks like a good bushcraft knife from here, an the price is very reasonable to me. Thanks for the share.
"snot bubbles" = LMAO so much I had to pause the video
I love puuko knives , in particular the Benchmade 3V is great .
It's a great knife made by a shitty freedom hating company, it's going to take more than a fantastic steel with godly ergonomics on the handle to walk back their commie gun hating politics.
I like it . Nice small camp knife . Thanks for the video of it
I really like the look of this knife and this video shows just how good it can be thanks Chris
Great job on the video Chris 👍👍👍
Love the look of this knife. This and the Cavelore look awesome.
Very nice looking knife. Got a set of their throwers last week. They're great so far. Your first impressions are more thorough than most others reviews. Well done sir!
Check out Helle Viking knife from Norway.
A good used lawn mower blade with some pallet wood handles and a edge applied with a side arm grinder makes one hell of a batoning tool
I'd love to have a traditional puukko, but I unfortunately lack the funds. Though a Mora is pretty similar! Just more modern
Enjoyed. Thanks Chris.
Nice design on then scales

I've been wondering about this particular sharp and pointy thing!
I'm liking that one, gonna get it.
If it has a good heat treat for edge retension. I might get one. I love my moras but they look industrial. That knife and sheath are a sweet looker.
cool I hope joe is sending you the new condor VIPERA MACHETE ....would like to see a review of that...thanx CHRIS
Its 😎 not to bad i like it.will go job done the handle on is fine?.
I have said the second part of your comment about 10 times in my head and now I have a headache.
needs translation.
After a first impression how would you compare it to a Tops Tanimboca Puukko?
Please do a review on the Condor Cavelore
Snot bubbles lmmfao! I have the Huron love that damn knife tough as a railroad spike.
I like the look of this blade for sure.

Cool camp knife... reasonable price
Awesome blade!!
Please get a woody handmade knife from smkw, they seem to have a pretty simple bush craft knife design. As always love the vids.
Cool knife. Thumbs up on the video.
I like the knife , but as you do not like brown handles . I don't like stone wash finishes . To me it looks cheap .
Very cool knife, good video. How is Will??
Neat one, and nothing wrong with 1095.
Hey Chris have you reviewed the Atrox by Condor yet? It's a beast...
Great knife.
"What is this, an asbestos tree?" 😂
Huron knife maybe?
Beatiful i wish one
Great vid!!
If you want to spend 80 bucks for a knife to baton .. try the Ontario knife company's sp8 .. full tang pure bad to the bone !
*ONLY THING I DONT LIKE ABOUT WIRE WRAPS IS AFTER YOU SKIN DEER OR CATTLE, ITS HARD TO GET OUT ALL THE FAT AND BLOOD THAT GETS STUCK IN IT.*
Nice, but it's not a Marttiini,,,, lol,,,,,
Looks coo chris!
Use ANY KNIFE non stop for 4 hours with no gloves or previous callouses-gonna feel it
Search U.S. Legion Custom Knifeworks on eBay.. very inexpensive, usa made, in house heat treatment. They look very solid
I was looking into that you own one
@@mikemorgan8960 I do

Is it a zero bevel, though? XD
Asbestos tree! Lol! Cool knife

Looks like a knife Cody Lunden would carry " totally off the grid man". 🤓
Yeah, but he would probably not pay 70 bucks. Isn't he only carrying inexpensive Moras?
Cody lundin only carries 1 knife its same model thats parent company of mora hes carried it since 1992 weve all got too many knives
Lol... the "mora" cody lundin carries most is a custom that was given to him by a friend of his thst made knives...
@PM101 All knives suck after you used a Bushbat
Haha... great vid man had a laugh 😂
👍
😮 rip firestarter lol
You should get a 50 cal BMG 1/2 inch ferro rod xD
Hmmmmm, Joe Flowers surprise...Seems like it might be time to bust out with some flaming carpet action. Just saying...

Your super funny
its a bowie for a pygmy
Anybody still watching his videos still complaining about batoning with a knife after all these years, needs to delete TH-cam.
Cry,cry,cry🤦🏻♂️😂
