Boy was I excited for this one. I finally got my hands on some Kontrol Freek Precision Rings after months of pushing them aside. I know, I'm a lazy bastard! But I had other projects going on too. I can’t thank you enough for this vid, I bought some yesterday and got them today and my aim has improved so much, my biggest issue has been immediately moving too far left or right witj no resistance but these rings give me more control where I can run max sense and get those quick turnarounds or slight adjustments, top tier ring for real

These things do work well. Like he said, if you don’t take them on and off constantly, they will last long. Have had on my controller for about 4 months now and it’s till going strong and because if it I can play on 20 20 sensitivity on cod now while still maintaining that level of precision so it’s actually really great! Such a simple yet effective product.

Ive been using these for around 2 months and I love them. At first I hated them but once I found the right Sensitivity combination, forget about it. I used to use the black ones on 20 20 sens but recently went down to the purple mid on 13 13 sens. And yeah I only use it on the right stick.
Adjusting your dead zone and sensitivity curve does help as well when using the elite controller
I feel bad for people going anywhere else for reviews… this is the only channel you need!!!

I’ve been using these for a few weeks now and they definitely help in warzone. I used them so I could up my sensitivity especially when I play aggressive with. Interestingly it helps me more with sniping. I would recommend even tho I think they’re overpriced for a piece of foam.

These helped my aiming a lot. With the thumb sticks I raised my sensitivity up to 12 and then with the rings I’m at 20/20 on cod now

im glad my tip was helpfull. its been a learning issue with controller to controller. right now a tall stick base and 2 soft rings gives me a perfect feel. also if you ever wanna play fortnite and chat my ign is the same as my youtube name just no space between

When I used precision rings, they started to rip and ended up getting in the joystick. I ended up having horrible stick drift, but I used them a lot and very roughly, so I can say that for someone using them casually, they will work wonders

I didnt even think about that. Great point and thanks for sharing. The elite series two is notorious for stick drift. It’s so bad they extended the warranty to a year and will swap you out with a new controller after sending in the bad one.

precision rings working to the other side...protecting little more your thumbs cause you didnt push them to the lines...there is no problem with precision rings out tghere...but tghe problem came from companies which making crystal thumbs !!!! all the controllers out there have the same problem..manyh of them faster or slower !!!! the avarage analog life is about 8 months on every controller !!!! dissapointing !!!
Took me a week or two to get used to but they’ve 100% helped me in FPS games, mainly WZ. Lets you play at high sensitivities but still maintain accuracy. Trust me it’s gonna feel weird af at first but take the time to try the different rings and find your right sensitivity. I also recommend using with the regular KFs like Cuda said, it’s buttery and almost too stiff without them imo. For WZ I use the medium ring and a 10/10 sens. I’m also a crackhead who uses this on the Elite controller
How long do they last?

Something I like about my KF Vortex on the left stick (the lowest height) is just the greater surface area for my left thumb. Especially after using it for a while the Xbox thumb sticks just feel so small
KF tells you to put one on the left stick anyways so I don’t see why he said it’s a bad idea

Just my opinion on these: I used it in a PowerA Fusion Pro and on a ps5 controller, I found it working better on the ps5 because of the different gap in the thumbsticks, just like you say. Also, totally agree with you when you said they work better with the kontrolfreek thumbsticks grips.
It took my 2 weeks to get used to m and k, but a year to get used to controller. So much respect for controller players

Olá, sou do Brasil e já vi vários vídeos seus sobre controles. Para você, Xbox Elite 2 é o melhor controle entre todos? Eu já experimentei as três versões do Razer Wolverine (Ultimate, Torneio e V2) e achei todas muito ruins, falando sobre a pegada dos paddles.
Eae TMB sou do Brasil. Minas Gerais. Olha eu usei vários controles o elite v2 e o melhor. Quando for comprar nunca compre usado. E procurei pelo modelo FST 00002 que e o revisado sem problemas. O analógico e meio bambo no centro em comparação com controle comum. Normal ...pois o analógico e assim mesmo. Compre pelo ML...testa ele legal pois e uma caixinha de surpresa pois de 3 ...2 peguei com defeito no analógico...ele estalava ao rodar 360 graus. Uso os 4 paddles sem problemas...e um excelente controle...

good review, have the same first initial impression. about left stick: i do like something like the omni (or whatever has lowest hight) just has better grip and feedback. also in CoD you can set the max threshhold, which i lower to 80

Thanks! A testimony to the obsolete design of consoles. I moused and keyboarded my wrists into RSI pain but got an Xbox for the quarantine. For Doom Eternal actually. No wrist trouble yet but damn I’d love to be able to aim once in awhile.
Hear me out on this. I only used a small kontrolfreek on left stick for comfort if you have to press down your left stick for anything on a standard controller it felt 10x easier with a kontrolfreeks and didn't hurt my thumb at all. I'm on an elite 1 now tho and I just use the domed stick that comes with the elite for my left stick now.

I gotta be honest, I used these on the power a controller and the razor ultimate. They are ehhhh to me, they tend to climb up the power A's thumb sticks. The razor ultimate doesn't really have a climbing problem.
The black is waaaay to hard, the green is really soft(would only use green on sticks with higher stick tension.)
Purple is definitely the way to go.
I do find that kontrolfreak sticks are a better purchase over the rings, they both pair well with each other tho.
The mixed is what I got and I definitely recommend the mixed for someone that doesn't know what they need stiffness wise.
I've only tore one of the green ones so far and have had them for 9 months.
