KFs are primarily not made for grip. They make it easier to ADS slowly (the extended ones at least). Imagine if your joy stick was 2ft tall, if you moved it 4 inches, your cursor will only move slightly, whereas if you had a shorter joy stick, when you move it slightly, your cursor moves a lot because there is a shorter distance to travel.
when it comes to the prong issue, cop a pair of the precision rings. they fit underneath the freek, you put em on before applying the stick attachment itself. concept is about adding varying degrees of resistance so you’re more precise with your aim. they work for sure, personally I like the soft because it adds a bit of resistance while still allowing you to move freely. def useful if you want to use a higher sensitivity but remain accurate as well. it’ll take care of that prong issue as well

Yo, can someone tell me where he got that purple control freak. I have used that control freak for a very long time now. I bought a replacement off Amazon, and it feels like a rip off version. Can't tell if it's the same control freak but less used, or if it's just a rip off v version. The replacement I bought feels more plasticky and less wide.
I ended up mix and matching FPS Freek Edge(Blue) and FPS Freek Vortex(Orange) on my DualSense. I use the Blue Freek Mid-Rise(convex) on the left stick. Clicking the stick is easier I get less controller fatigue. On the right stick I use the Orange Vortex High-Rise(convex). Good grip pattern and Aim plus I can slip to the buttons from the high stick easier than with the concave Edge High-Rise.
I used the purple for over 2 years now I love them and just ordered new ones Friday bc they got old lol from me sweating but reordered them got them in today and absolutely still love them and glad I got grip again bc my old ones were so faded 😂😂

Ofc it comes down to personal preference but in my time using them i dont feel any grinding? Kontrol freeks need to break in. they are super hard when you first get them. they will become soft and feel much better in a week or two of using it. i use a high red vortex kontrol freek. really nice feel to it. The MW ones were good too but i cant find them anymore. so i just stick to the red vortex

I hope the amazing KontrolFreek Call of Duty: Vanguard will be more of a red-orange color in real life, rather than red for the amazing white with black camo silicone skin, Playstation 5 DualSense which when gyro's set nicely is the best for driving Arkham Knight's Batmobile. Try my planned, experimental claw grip variant: controller on the lap with fingers almost 90 degree angle with the buttons (almost like typing) with ring and pointing finger on the shoulder and trigger buttons and use the arm instead of the thumb for straight movements (a technique in drawing straight lines) wearing latex gloves maybe (nitrile for all day wearing but less grip than surgical lates powder-less gloves). I use the domed cqcx on my ps5 controller right stick and I liked those the most. The tall ones are too uncomfortable for me and I sometimes got caught on the stick when I tried to reach square...so cqcx is the way to go for me :)

News flash to most people that like high rise sticks. You might want a mid or low DOME attach. Dome has WAY more control then concave. I don't see why people want to bend their thumb to move an analog stick. It makes ZERO sense in terms of accurate movements lmfao

How does bending the finger to stay in the middle of the control point > having leveraging the control point out and resting the thumb on said control point? It's called leveraging.
