Chinese Consumers Outraged! Urging Not to Buy: Huawei Phones Are Junk, Ads Non-stop!

  • However, a commentator in a recent video argues that Huawei is only ahead when it comes to high prices, dismissing its other claims. This viewpoint might seem extreme, but it's not entirely baseless. Huawei's dominance isn't just about pricing. It also extends to aggressive marketing, numerous in-device ads, and a passionate fanbase. Even though U.S. sanctions have silenced some of Huawei's claims, it can’t stop Huawei from “leading” in many other aspects.
    In the past, when talking about domestic mobile phones, people would say "no ads, no Xiaomi," but now it's "Who leads in mobile ads? Huawei is the king." The number of ads in Huawei phones has surpassed its competitors.

    That's how the American car companies lost their dominance to the Japanese automakers. Ford, GM and Chrysler each had a strong loyal customer base and laughed at the Japanese companies that made little rust wagons. I have had two Huawei phones since 2016 and both are still going strong. The Harmony operating system is excellent and cannot be hacked. Not had any ads from the Phone itself. My wife also has a Huawei and she does not get any ads.
    The apps are not Huawei apps either. Don't have to download the apps and they are easy to get rid of.
    As for price they are not that expensive. If I as a foreigner can afford one then many Chinese can and do.
    Apple phones are far more expensive in China and do not accept android apps.
    I have used android apps on my Huawei phone with no problems.
    The cost of making an iphone is less than half of the actual sale price. Same with Samsung. They are making well over 50% profit on the phones. That is after all the costs which include distribution, Salaries for sales employees and marketing.

      Lol iphone copy's Android phone designs of front camera lens from side to middle and change to type C cable, charging plugs and fast charging 😂😂 Huawei's next flagship model from 7nm will be 5nm fourth quarter of this year and in 2025 it will be 3nm. Huawei's Kirin 9010 chipset is way much faster, smoother and reliable compared to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and A17 Pro chipset. Huawei's phone models old to latest face recognition and fingerprint is instant too, less then 1 sec. Play mobile games with very low ms like 5/6ms. Tesla cannot even manufacture their own EV batteries and needs help from China. The change of Tesla cars EV batteries is so costly compared to Byd EV batteries. Installation of Telsa charging stations take weeks to months for insallation, on the other hand Byd charging stations is instant or on the next day or within the same week. Tesla cars cannot even enter water or drive in water and cannot turn 180 degrees in water, but Byd cars has this features. Rofl 😂😂😂

    • @Toliman.
      @Toliman. 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      Yeah, the 'anti-fraud' apps are quite invasive. Some come direct from the company, while others are insisted by the police / CCP to be installed by default.
      So, some bloat comes from these background processes are baked in and non-removable - unless you modify the firmware to remove the code in the boot loader or alter the firmware to foreign countries, and then inject the proper localised modem/carrier information. There's technical ways to remove these apps, but it's not trivial.
      These apps 'protect people' by reporting and filtering restricted keywords, reporting installed apps, block common foreign apps or cleaner programs that close background processes. Because those background processes are needed to track location, capture camera data, track applications installed, monitor IP and wifi networks, et al.
      Some of these 'safety features' ie surveillance and censoring software are baked-in for global and chinese-only firmwares, you have to jailbreak/clean them out of the firmware which can be difficult.

    • @SilveyGalaxy
      @SilveyGalaxy 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      @ralphlong8371 You gotta do better than that lmao 😂 Sure it has the fastest raw processing speed, but that's useless, phones are already faster than what you ever need them to be in CPU power, what phones need to focus on now is GPU power for games, and guess who takes the crown for that title: Samsung. Also your iPhone power that you claim doesn't even have any cooling to keep a consistent performance over heavy usage for a long period of time so after a few minutes the Samsung phone will still perform overall better than the iPhone as it thermal throttles so that it doesn't destroy itself from overheating. And by the way, all phones lag over time, my iPhone XS and iPhone 11 lagged way more than when I first used it, same goes for my Android phone, but this issue isn't common anymore for newer Android phones and iPhones. Also, biometrics is objective it's just up to your preference and what works best for you. Face ID and Fingerprint Recognition is equally good and secure. And by the way, bloatware is a problem on both, but arguably Samsung phones have more, so that's just 1 thing you got right

    Everyone knows Apple is on another planet compared to any company even when Apple releases some features after others. Apple perfects features before clumsily releasing them before they are ready.

      That's not true,they just adding it piece by piece and called it a " revolutionary feature" because they either don't have anything new or they are forced to do it,And nothing in between. While removing/changing some features then give ass alternative year after year. Like let's be real you saying they released their feature in perfect condition but release a freaking phone with buzzwords feature and minimal upgrade plus wishing they update the OS before 12 months buying the next one because the launch ios has more problems than the predecessor and some of them never even updated because you called it, it's a freaking feature. Take for example the USB C implementation yep some call it revolutionary when they are late,and even though it's a usb c if your not buying the highest minimal update one,you still stuck with usb 2.0 speed in it.

    As a westerner living in China... it's worse than you think. Not only on the phones, also electric cars, TVs, smart watches, computer monitors, all software, ALL of it, full of ads you can't opt out of. On top of that, every hallway, elevator, gate, park, is flooded with ads.. and these last ones have noise too.
    As for prices... I'm sorry Chinese friends but you really don't know how stupid you look raising prices when nobody's buying. This mentality of "must be expensive to sell/must be expensive to buy" is simply stupid.
    You've learned nothing from the poverty you suffered for so long.

      Exactly. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Not just for Huawei but also their space program. They have Nasa to thank for that. After being banned from the ISS, the Chinese built and launched their own space station. Now the latest triumph with the successful completion of lunar module Chang'e 6 mission to the far side of the moon and back with samples. Neanwhile Boeing Starliner is stuck and leaking away in the ISS with their stranded astronauts.

      What don't kill you, makes you stronger. Imagine a company going up against a superpower. They threw everything they could think of at Huawei. Any other company would have folded at the first instance. It reminds me of China's space program. Without the Wolf Amendment Act 2011 , banning them from the ISS, China would not have gone on to build their own space station. Now their latest achievement with their Chang'e 6 lunar module to the far side of the moon and back. While Nasa Starliner is stranded and leaking at the ISS. China has to thank Nasa for charting their own path.
