All set!!! My seat is 23 years old and the pan s cracked up. Can't even imagine doing this without the spray glue. It came out great and the seat now fits back on the 4wheela and even clips on now! Likely from not being distorted by the old cover! Thank you so much!

I was trying to do mine without the spray glue, and it was dang near impossible. The spray glue really makes it work good. It's like having an extra set of hands to hold it in place.

Great video, also, If you have cracks or holes on the foam part of the seat, use polyurethane caulk to fill the holes or divots, then cover with thick tape, let it dry for overnight, then the seat will be even and smooth again, then use glue and marine vinyl the next day.

I do leather re-upholstery but have never worked with vinyl. I was trying to re-cover a seat for a friends fourwheeler but the vinyl just wouldn't stretch right and kept getting wrinkles in it. The dryer trick was the answer! Thanks!

Don't use spray adhesive! A good trick is to use a garbage bag over the foam so vinyl can slide. Heating the vinyl is a good recommendation as it allows you to stretch tight.

that spray has directions on it. you spray both items and let them get tacky before putting together. Also never use glue on a job like that. good thing it was not made like that or you could have not reused the foam. Now if you tear the seat you will ruin the foam to replace next time. But it looks good and I hope you don't need to do it again.

You should not be gluing your cover to the seat foam. Next time you want to recover you'll destroy your seat foam by tearing foam from the seat when you remove the old cover. Here's the big clue: Was your original cover glued down? No, it wasn't. If it was the cover has been replaced.
