    Re-covered my seat this week. I also used gorilla glue to cover the staples to reinforce them to the material and spread the stretch load.

    Great job, you put some care into making a solid seat which in turn gets you a new looking seat..probably better than new no doubt. I cam see how a seat cushion could be altered in certain ways for the users needs. Love it. Thank you.

      I bought the one in this video from Joanne Fabrics. It is also available on many online stores (eBay, Amazon, ...etc). Just make sure the one you will use is designed for outdoor and UV rated. Thank you

    I've done several.
    This video taught me a very key method of repairing the cracked, and worn out foam.
    Thanks

    HI How did it hold up after two years? Anything you would do different? Did the edges wear through?

    • @SalamSayhood
      @SalamSayhood  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good morning, still good, I wouldn't do anything different. The edges are still good. The material I got for this project is good quality and UV rated for outdoor use.

    Great fix. We've just had some seats on a golf cart repaired, but this fix was slick and easy. Thanks!

    Hey, that's pretty awesome. You make it simple. It does take a bit of work but not a lot of money. And even if someone kind of messes up I am sure that it is better than the tattered one they're fixing. 👍

    If you sweep a blow torch over your plastics, if will return the color... your grey plastic will be black again.

      @SalamSayhood  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for the tip. I actually used this technique with a blow torch and I also used a heat gun. It will make old plastic look new.

    Great video. Well done. What do you call the fabric you put between foam and and upholstery material? And what kind of spray adhesive. I have to redo my 4 wheeler seat.

      Good evening, the fabric is called:
      Quilt Batting Multipurpose Dacron Fiber Polyester Wadding Fabric Loft Upholstery Grade Padding. I know it is a long name 😆 I bought mine from Joann store and also it is available online.
      The spray adhesive I bought from the hardware store. Any spray adhesive will work.
