Wow. I cant imagine seeing your car in person. You are very lucky to have such a nice low mile blue bullitt. mine had 126k on it when I bought it so it had 100k more haha. my orange cobra had 29k on it when I bought it and I was thrilled.
Someone robbed the Bullitt Rims and that's about it. I put a bunch of touches to the interior from onin60secounds.com coin alot delete, and ordered the paper work from Ford.
Proud owner of number 03146 True Blue. Very similar story the guy you bought from. I was 10 when Ford announced the Bullitt edition and my father wanted to get one. He let me choose the color not knowing how rare it would end up. Long story short she has spent her whole life garage kept only being driven to work every now and then by my dad and me when I got my license. I’m 29 now and have my own garage so My dad finally gave her to me. Bone stock original with just under 14,000 miles. Could not stand the thought of ever getting a title loan against it. Glad you saved this one and hope it has a happy life.
I'd really like to find out more about my car. I bought it from a dealership so I have no idea what the previous owner had in mind with the build. As my screen name implies it was a 2001 bullitt in black (3202) and it had some really neat modifications already. Full exhaust, msd coil packs, a procharger system (not a cheap one either) and a switch I found that wasn't labeled next to the cigarette lighter. Come to find out it was a line lock switch. My assumptions were that he dragged the car at RMR when they were still open.
It might be MY Bullitt. Bought it here in Vegas almost 3 years ago. The interior was pretty clean except for the driver side door panel and a tear on the driver's seat. I could tell that it was a Track car, due to the low profile front end and Carbon fiber hood. Currently in the process of replacing the front end with a 'Vader' front end. HAD to have this car when I saw it!
Difficult to see the number on the shock tower as it's faded pretty bad.. I'll check under the back seat when I get a chance. I can tell you, that I saw this Bullitt, on a lot, off of Boulder Hwy / Desert Inn, almost 3 years ago and had to have it. Already had an '05 Coupe, wasn't shopping for a car but had to take advantage of the $8,000 sticker price.
This one has the bullitt number in the coin delete on the center console. The driver seat had the bottom part replaced with a normal black leather V6 seat so it’s probably not the same car. Cool that you saw yours often. Great memories
Wow that's a real cool story and my hats off to you for saving the car! Although that was a Dick move on your friends part who knows what would have happened to the car if you didn't save it. Also by up selling Everytime it has been bought by more serious enthusiasts that will most likely try to protect their investment. So that's 2 Bullitts you have saved👍👍 Great vid man I really enjoyed it!!
Hey Justine, really like ur content on the Mustang's, I've had quite a few myself, and now own an 88 GT really low miles. Anyway like a the few video's I've watched so far, so I'm subscribed so keep'em coming..🇺🇸 MERICA
I was expecting an actual “build” story. I’m sorry but those aren’t friends to me to take advantage of you like that and break promises. Especially with all the trouble you had initially getting it home I wouldn’t have sold it for anything. That’s just me and my own .02 though.
Boy! What an adrenaline rush getting that car home eh?! So everyone made money on it but you huh? Nice guys always get screwed! It really sucks when a supposed friend pulls that shit on you. I feel your pain Justin. It's not even about the money, your trust was violated after all you put into the Bullitt. Money talks, friendship walks I guess.
Between this and the mustang GT story recently, i’m really enjoying how you are bringing Mustangs back to life
Thanks for saving that Bullit. The Mustang world is grateful.
Hi Justin Johnson I am proud owner of a 2001 True Blue Bullitt GT with 26k original miles Number 4757 love the car. Thanks for sharing your story!!

@@lukeduke3077 Thats awesome. I have the onin60seconds led bullitt coin slot and the bullitt cupholder trim ring.

Thank you very much
Keep the story’s coming 👍🏽
When you saw the car @ the Speedway, did it have a carbon fiber hood? I think that I might be the owner of it now.
Question: out of curiosity did any of the new edge bullits come with automatic transmission?
No, all were 5 speeds
I can’t imagine sparks just shooting up lol I would of been sketched out.
I wouldve never sold it !

I have Black Bullitt 509 not in this good of condition but getting there

Yeah its unfortunate but I did get some things like the seats and wheels. Thats life.
