Has the John Deere 1025r run its course? The 7 must have tractor upgrades if I were to get a new tractor.

Really enjoying your content! Expecting delivery of a 2017 low hour used 1025R for my 4 acres this week. I will be using the 60” mmm and have some hilly terrain. What do you recommend for a little better stability? Do you recommend brand/size spacers?, wheel weights? Liquid ballast rear tires? Ballast box? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the great videos!

This is an exciting time, you will love the John Deere 1025r. It is so a great piece of equipment that will do you right.
I would recommend rear ballast, you can purchase a Heavy Hitch attachment that holds 8 x 70 lbs suitcase weights.

I have never used wheel spacers but honestly I don’t think you need them on the 1025r if you have rear ballast. I do have a set of 50 lbs wheel weights on mine and would recommend. You could add liquid ballast in tires, on average every gallon equals 7 lbs. The 1025r would probably only get around 10 gallons in each tire.
Definitely look at a quick attach system… it will make your life much easier.
