So many great musicians, dj’s, and music producers from Old Blighty. What I love about the ‘Hysteria’ album is the multiple tracked/layered guitars. Mutt is a genius. Phil was a bad ass to be so young yet shredding like that-it seems like the best guitarists have a real intuition for that fairly early on (Slash, Zakk Wylde, Randy Rhoads, Kirk Hammett, Dimebag Darrell, Marty Friedman, Jerry Cantrell, Mark Tremonti [his solo album stuff he makes now is the best, Tremonti’s solo Albums are probably my absolute favorite rock music of this current era], etc.).
The First truly Political song from Def , and also Mutt Lange used Steve's riff for this great song. In my top five for Def Leppard. Thanks for doing Steve once again!

Steve remains 30 years later one of the most influential song writers and creator of iconic melodies, harmonies, hooks, bends and of course riffs. Learned from a documentary recently that the verse riff is based on the "Message In a Bottle" riff by The Police, Steve Clarke had such talent, if you know it, you can hear it, if you don't, you would never know

Outstanding playing, yes! But what sets you apart from MANY other guitarists is your touch and familiarity with your instrument! Closest Steve Clark "interpretation" I've heard. Being a former professional drummer whose played with a handful of the 80's and early 90's best rock guitarists, that's the best compliment I know to give. I started focusing on guitar about 3 years ago with the goal of writing and recording my own projects, and watching various styles such as yours is extremely inspiring and beneficial for those of us who have gone from expert level with one instrument to being humbled when attempting to become one with a new one. You're a natural!!!

DUDE! THIS FUCKING ROCKS!!! You played with passion, it takes very little to kill this song, but you nailed it. I'm a fellow scot, a big leppard fan and gods of war is my favourite leppard track, thumbs up from me, well done.

I've commented before, on another vid I think, that the Classic Albums programme should be a mandatory watch for all fans. It's a great insight and I only wish I could see an extended cut of all the interviews.
Hands down my favorite DL song, and I don't think I've ever heard anybody- not a tribute band, not any of the covers on YT- NOBODY has killed it like you did on that session. Seriously. Awesome job buddy.
3:16 It's so weirdly beautiful how the end of that solo seems to have two interweaving guitar parts that form a whole. Steve's live rendition in ITRIYR didn't quite capture the effect, although it's still awesome.
