Great unbiased presentation. The 101s look superb! At my age (67 years young!!) I need a set of irons that’s extremely forgiving and long while exerting minimum effort on my part not to mentioned how good it looks.. Need to save all my strength for the entire 18 holes. 101-I just got into golf about 4 months ago. Have been playing with some 20yr old second hand clubs. In this time with the clubs I have, I have been able to obtain a score of 90 as an average. Having a new set like these. I think I could continue to improve my game. I appreciate the knowledge & information your present here on your channel. I watch all the time. Thanks again!
Looks are definitely what get me into the “buying” mindset. However, I’m going home with what fits and feels the best. Example being, the Callaway Apex Pro 21’s are what I thought I wanted, but I went home with Ping I210’s
I just received my Takomo iron heads at the end of July after waiting for 2 months. They were well worth the wait. I had my Aerotech i80 reg flex shaft installed into them and I shot my best round in 3 years last Wednesday. I almost got a hole-in-one on a 130 yd par 3. These do not have the same feel as Callaway Apex forged irons but at 1/4 of the price, they are good enough for me. Distance is deceivingly good. I wish that they made an approach wedge.
The wait time for customized clubs was said to be 6weeks, min arrived just over 4 (so that was a win). Unfortunately, I live in a place that is quite cold during the winter, so my first round with them won’t be until spring.

I play to about 24 at my regular course using a very inexpensive Ram package set which have helped me drop about 10 shots in the past year. Do you think these will help me improve more quickly or should I continue with what I have until is drop to high teens h'cap? Ps, really good video!

I just bought a set of 101 heads, 4-PW and a 48 degree wedge. Love them. I have Accra T90i shafts in the 4-PW and Accra T100i in the wedge. I am getting a lot more distance than my old TM M6 irons.

101-seems like the perfect set for a players distance club upgrade from my Maximo MX-19 set I purchased. Just started playing 3 years ago and getting the eye for the look of the club behind the ball at address and the details of stopping power, distance, workability and so on. Choose me please😂
Great looking irons could really use a set like theses. My son had a stroke at 11 years old and now he's 17 and really loves playing golf. I think with these clubs he could really improve his game.
James, some of us would like to see green reading tips. Sometimes from within 5ft, we can't see the break. We only know if the green is dark, it'll be slow, if it's light it'll be fast. We can sometimes feel the break but need more info about pace of the putt also. Thank you.

101- I am currently playing some irons that are not forgiving whatsoever and since I typically shoot in the high 80's, I have been really looking forward to playing something like this! I have been wanting to buy the 101t's for awhile but just haven't been able to save up enough for them so winning them would be such a dream! Also, nice video!
*101* Those are really nice looking irons. The sound was decent and you seemed to like the feel so I guess that’s good enough for me. Nothing wrong with playing ‘second tier’ golf clubs because most clubs started as such. Sometimes that makes them even better if you like to have something different in your bag.
The 101s are like the affordable (i dont want to use the word cheap) version of the Ping i500s. I really do want some, but can't bring myself to sell my forgedtec black irons for a set of clubs no ones going to know. On an additional note, one problem I have is Takomo does not offer a demo. You can't pay say $20 have them send you a 7 iron and actually hit it. They offer a money back guarantee but essentially you're paying a $450 deposit to just demo the clubs.

If I had the opportunity to have had access to affordable clubs that are reviewed; I would def have purchased them. Critical honest reviews are important. I've seen great reviews for great brands that don't actually stack up.
Here I was looking at them on line but didn’t want them because they looked as the blade style that pro’s use??? I wanted a good cavity back with a good forgiving sweet spot on them.. good unbiased video. Still wondering if those are actually a blade where you’ve got to hit it right in that spot. I’m a 14-17 handicap but don’t like blades as I said up above. Couldn’t find any info about the 101 of sweet spot or any cavities backs from the company.. if you can reply to me it would be much appreciated. Also I wanted over size grips but the description of the clubs had 10 items in which I didn’t understand, like KSY10 (example) I don’t know what they mean, I was on the site for PXG, Now those are expensive but the details in ordering a child could understand what they want to order and oversized grips too. Well a reply would be great so I can make a intelligent decision, thank you very much enjoyed the video
