Just for anyone wondering - you can remove the colored image overlay that Kel was dealing with by going to Design --> Colors --> Section Themes and just set it to transparent :)

Helveticookies actually exist! The are made with letter cookie cutters with a helvetica font! The package design for the cookies gives me book cover vibes.

I’m not a graphic designer nor do I have any knowledge of photoshop BUT I just love watching Kel and watching their thought process and seeing how they figure it out. It’s so relaxing for some reason

To Kel and everyone else: you can make yourself sick if you don't regularly clean your water bottles and drink makers (i.e. Keurigs, kettles, etc). Please don't play fast and loose with that. Clean them well and make sure it tastes right!

I stuck around to the end because design and branding is something that I'm interested in. I've had three to four people within the past several months ask me to help them design their new businesses - and I'm not a designer, so I thought I would look into it and learn a bit and see what it entails. I've agreed to work with them all - they know I'm an artist and not necessarily a designer, but if they want to trust me with this new situation then I don't have a problem taking a crack at it. So I'm here having watched several other channels - you definitely have an interesting design aesthetic - I wouldn't say it was my style, but it's interesting. I really like the helveticookies logo you came up with at the end with that curved line. I have to say that I am definitely a wix person. Didn't know anything about squarespace, but just looking at the sparse designs and features - I don't think I would like using it. Doesn't seem like you can customize it as much as you can with wix or editor x (which are also drag and drop, but feature rich). I'm impressed that you went from start to website and even purchased a domain for this faux brand! The colors you chose for each of the different flavors was bending my mind - I don't think I would have ever chosen any of those for a cookie brand - well, not with a clean design, straightforward design like yours anyway. But it worked for the most part. This, to me, seems like what an Aldi brand of vegan cookies would look like - very bold, very sparse, very direct, no frills. Enjoyed watching your process more than anything. It's all helping me learn and understand.

In the US and Canada, biscuits are savoury, cookies are sweet. Biscuits are likes fluffy bread that you eat with chicken or roast beef, etc
