I tried to design a clothing brand for fun and when I posted a lot of people focus on the name more than the design. They were saying ooh I know a brand with that name you should not use for your exercise, there is a copy right infringe. But I was not going to sell the brand.😥
@@floridehounkpatin2110 You should care less about what people say and do your thing. You’ll find more fulfillment and freedom in that. No one makes the rules.

I've been watching your videos since this morning and I didn't even notice the amount of hours I sat on my chair and watch your works. You are such a talented designer and hopefully I could be like you someday. I truly learned a lot from your tutorials. I have been making designs for the sake of practice and I wanted to start my journey as getting clients. I have no idea yet but I'm just curious, if you're done with everything and the client liked your designs and is ready to be sent to them, what file format/type would you send to them? Would you give then a PNG copy of everything?

Yeah but maybe that's her style. Remember everyone got their own unique style. Plus there is a different between a graphic designer and a graphic artist. You might be a graphic artist.
I love these videos! My biggest wish is that you didn’t speed up the parts where you actually do the work, the tweaking, manipulating etc because there’s so much to learn there and I always have to try and watch it on 0.25x speed to catch what you’re doing 😂 another idea is doing more of an in depth illustrator-tutorial of the branding process, tools you use, how you manipulate etc. what you’re speeding up is exactly what I want to see more of 🙏🏽 thank you for these videos!
hello- new subscriber here! i've only been a sub for less than a month but am really enjoying the content :) i can totally tell you put a little extra effort editing this video (the transition at 15:32 is 🔥🔥) but there were a couple times that I just missed the plain old (like i wasn't a big fan of the zoom out and moving background at 7:24ish, maybe a plain not moving one?). love the extra effort tho and keep experimenting to see what works- im excited to keep watching this series!!
This is a brands visuals, but a whole brand has a voice, persona and traits other than visual marketing deliverables. This would be a good part 1 of probably a 5-10 part series on designing a brand. These look excellent by the way, but it might confuse people who show up to a meeting with visuals and no concept about what a brand persona is.

Hi Abby, Firstly, I love your work! I am completely new to typography/Illustrator and am designing a new logo for my brand, but when I was finished some of the parts were moving without the other parts & changing the texts would change one color and the outlines wouldn't. Do you somehow put everything together for the manipulated font at the end or do you only use the pathfinder tool or shape builder tool for each letter separately? Hopefully that makes sense; thank you so much

Also I wanted to ask, if in ur opinion using pre-made mockups is a thing someone who wants to be a designer should do or if we should do our own and if we should tell the clients we did not make those?
I appreciate the feedback! I can for sure see your points. I always use pre made mock ups! I don't think making your own is that important because it's not like the client uses them :)
