    Hi George I wanted to ask you if you can help mate
    My e60 2009 was making noise in the morning on cold start to me it sounds like timing chain but not 100% what’s your advice on it.

    Looks like a bit of a ball ache. I am not surprised it hadn't been changed for a while. On my Wife's Alfa you need to take the engine undertray off, and surprise surprise that hadn't been changed in ages either.

      Yep much better design for N47, only takes 30 seconds to remove the filter👍🏻

    really messy to do all these things just for an air filter 🤔

    Are the days too short? May be you should move to Lapland? Then you could, at least in the summer, work outside 24/7 if needed! 😜
    In the winter time you can train drifting on the frozen lakes, or may be help Bosch/BMW test their upcoming models and equipment.
    If you don't know where they test, I can explain.
    Start with googling for Arjeplog.

    Hi mate, im looking to fit a cone to mine as want more noise on induction. Do you know how this would be fitted on this type as not your usual air box like set up?

      My previous 330d was open intake. Was a bodge job so I tidied it up... half of the airbox is part of the camcover so, remove camcover, angle grind airbox off being careful not to cut into gasket sealing area of camcover. Vortex breather needs blanking and use pnuematic or vacuum pipe coming from hole drilled in circular shape part of breather case to either a catch can or run it down to the underside (chassis will become oily). Washer bottle.. get a small universal one and mount it to suspension tower or somewhere there. Plumb boost valve into turbo intake pipe and fix valve next to washer bottle. Pop cone filter on and simple as that lol. No, it's a faff but worth it imo

    Thank you for your useful video...Do we have the option to replace this paper filter with a "sport" filter like K&N or BMC or it is useless?Is it possible to have 3FF0 codes because of the "free flow" filters.??? My X3 E83 M47TU is remapped by BSR...

      @GeorgeAusters  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can install one yes but it won’t make much difference if at all any

      @@GeorgeAusters Thank you for your answer.I tried KN but 3FF0 code appeared and Fuel mixture become lean.When I put paper filter,3FF0 never comes back but AFR become rich and too often DPF regenerations take place.I checked injectors,replaced DPF,cleaned EGR.Everytime I make changes I reset mean quantity adaptations.Do you think It is an Oxygen sensor issue,pressure converte issue...?Flap controls are OK,inlet manifold is clean...I I need help...
