- The first weekend in May with a decreased health alert in Mexico City, many things return to normal but not quite. Elementary schools will screen children as they enter classrooms for symptoms (for anything) and many require students to bring their own bottle of hand sanitizer. Certainly, it is NOT a good time to have allergies in Mexico CIty.
