Well, as he says we are not perfect. "Love the 2nd? You never really loved the 1st?" "I never really had proper vision"? That says it all. He just gave into temptation, seduction, what he thought was greener grass. It had nothing to do with love. This screwed up choice with Amber Turd has to do with being an Adult Child of a mentally ill alcoholic. His childhood affected his choices with his romantic relationships. The lovely ladies can't tolerate boozing, popping pills, watching the man they love destroying himself. I've been there done that. It is easier to be their friend. You can observe and love them from a distance; not have to witness the destruction 24/7.
Just My opinion, I really do believe he loved his wife, she was a pleasure in the first 2yrs off there relationship but something changed in her he said, she became his opponent not his girl.

Someone with a polyamorous heart can love more than one person and it’s ok! It’s not for everyone though.

How is that possible unless you have two relationships? Otherwise, the second is an obsession infatuation of sorts. To avoid this do not embark on friendships with the opposite sex as God commands . Don't stare at beautiful women. Get out of their path of vision so as not to torment yourself. This is why Muslims cover up.
If your marriage is not exciting , know that life is boring if you're being good or living by God's laws to earn eternal life in Paradise - the real excitement and peace.
