The fact that in the end Touya truly was the PERFECT son Endevour wanted...is truly the cruelest twist of fate. The one thing Enji ruined his family´s life over, the one thing Dabi ruined his own life over, was always there...
@@BlakeN-o6lWe are literally seeing that his ice quirk is able to partially maintain his body against his extreme heat. Even Todoroki struggled with his quirk’s effects on his body early in the series because he lacked balanced training. If Touya had the same practice and training, he’d probably be able to deal with it. But Endeavor immediately neglected him and ended his training, leading Touya to focus on flame output to impress and regain attention, not control to protect his body.

@@FreshestAnime It's understandable since you watch a lot of anime, and I forget the names too, but did you actually forget that Todoroki learnt a move to literally stop Toya's flame. His fight with Toya kickstarted the entire chain of events, leading to Spinner going ham refusing Dabi's defeat, All for One revealing to Endeavor that he kept Toya from being found and catching him off guard. I'd say that even if you do not remember the name at least the dots should have connected to what he did last fight. It's not like you did anything really bad forgetting the move, and yeah, the entire family being there to stall time is very cheesy, too. however, the point I wanted to make was this move was clearly a highlight that is kinda hard to forget even if you don't remember the name. It was clearly not a random plot point since All Might just stated in this episode that he is the only one who can stop him. Todoroki was also feeling burdened initially as he wanted to stop Toya but had to prioritise AFO who is near him. Iida helped him reach his redemption for the fight with Stain back in season 2, as he had already stopped Midoriya from going edgy last season if you recall. Overall, it was definitely a game-changing episode for the show.
For as monstrous as Touya has become, I feel like it’s only fair for the family to be the ones to ultimately save him from getting himself killed completely. And it was just in the nick of time too, since Endeavor had already given up on him yet again. There’s a lot of complicated feelings happening here, and I honestly wasn’t expecting the whole family to end up on the battlefield, but hey, it’s finally time for Touya to get the attention he’s deserved all this time.

Im a 6ft 240 beast of a man with a bad relationship with my father…cried my eyes out just now watching this episode. What a story this show has turned out to be.
Im a 22 years old man and Its 5:58 im not sleeping and making a decision to not sleep at all and reload my sleeping routine to normal. And after that I just open the last 3 episodes of MHA that I didnt watch still, and now hear I am crying in my bed because of all that happens in episode 19. Horikoshi, what a masterpiece ❤️❤️❤️❤️😭
Yutaka Nakamura, the person who made the Dimple a.k.a Ekubo fight scene in Mob Psycho 100 season 3 episode 6, Deku vs Shoto in Season 2 Episode 10, several episodes in One Punch Man Season 1, the Lady Nagaan vs Deku fight, and all the My Hero Academia movies he was the one who created the final battle scene and now for this episode
That sad moment when we realize Toya had his mom's ice quirk all along it was just hidden, meaning everything that happened might've been all for nothing 😢
8:05 I’d say Toya’s situation was more like Woody’s in Toy Story 2, where he is damaged and put up for safekeeping, but just like Woody, Toya takes it the wrong way - because he was already damaged beyond repair. Unlike Woody, however, Toya was never very nice to those around him as he lashed out in various ways, like calling the women of the family useless, and this was especially the case once Shoto was born Another way to look at it is that Toya is a promising athlete. His dad put him in sports because it’s just something that parents do, but Toya mainly takes a liking to it because of the praise he gets, specifically from his father. Only for him to receive a career ending injury. Initially, his dad tries to assure him that it’s okay to pursue other things, but Toya is determined enough that he can see, or at least think, that his father doesn’t believe his own words. Toya pushes through all the pain and warnings only to make things worse, and in frustration, he begins lashing out at those who try to show concern for him because he can’t accept himself any longer - leading him to wanting to end it all. He stopped caring about what his family might actually feel about him a long time ago, to the point that he doesn’t consider how they will feel about his actions, as he can only think about his own pain.
Watching the movie clearly shows that touya is truly the child endeavour had wanted! Because he finally able to attain the ice quirk body in the end, proving that he has the quirk this entire time. What a turn of events. And tsukauchi’s remark about all might being an amazing teacher is mistranslated here. He’s meant that all might is truly a diligent teacher! He managed to guide the children by pinpointing proper combination of quirks that the kids have! He did his homework! Just like deku always knows how to properly analyse quirks to bring out the true potential of it!
11:24 Unfortunately, it’s one of the many darker aspects of war - child soldiers. Currently, we’re in an era and area where the youngest one can be to fight is 18, but I’m sure that if desperation set in, those in charge would hardly hesitate to drop that age. “All hands on deck,” as they say. After all, you wouldn’t just be fighting for your own life, you’d be fighting for all the other innocent lives back home who can’t fight for themselves
So happy Dabis story concludes like this, a lot of anime only fans thought his earler stand against Shoto was the end, having no idea how much better a conclusion we would actually get.
It's so tragic that Toya had Rei's ice quirk this whole time because he likely would've gone on to be a top hero and be fulfilled in life if Endeavor didn't treat him like a failure at best as a child. Not condoning his villainous actions, but still Toya has been through so much and I empathize with what he's been through in the past 😭😭
Endeavor is a great hero, no doubt about it, but he's the "villain" in the family, everyone thinks it's his fault that Dabi turned out the way he is (mass murderer/arsonist). To be fair, Endeavor never rejected any of his children because they didn't have the balance quirk of ice and fire. What's really tragic is that he stopped Dabi from practicing his quirk because it got to the point it burns himself, and he isolated shoto from his siblings because his brothers and sisters will get hurt if they get too close to Shoto's fire, to the kids this feels like rejection but to him that's protection. Endeavor is a man with few words and he didn't explain himself enough for the decisions he made. He blamed his wife for not taking good care of the children while he's saving the world. Is it okay to be a shit dad at home? No. But man....I don't know what could have been done differently to avoid this, maybe he should have retired when his family needed him but how many lives would have lost if Endeavor is gone (he's a pretty efficient hero and he saves multiple lives every hour, day-in-day-out). It's not easy to be a hero, it's definitely very difficult to be a top hero and it's another reminder that they sacrifice a lot, even the families need to make sacrifice. The other hero with family at home is Rock-lock and we know having a kid at home affect his work. Even Eraser head who isn't as active as other heros (part-time teacher) knows that he can't even get romantically involved with Outburst because the world needs eraser head and UA students need this teacher. Some people hates Endeavor but do they also hate Nana Shimura? She also abandoned her family to fight all-for-one and indirectly created Tomura Shigaraki.

As cool as the All Might moment was, the last chapter this episode covered was titled "Shoto Todoroki: Rising" and it's insane they didn't use that
I kilometer is a bit over half a mile (~.6). Its a nice number to know if you ever want to drive out of the US.
This episode was so good I cried too taka Nakamura he directed this episode 🔥🔥🔥🤝
alternate title of episode: I am here... for 15 seconds...
what the title should've been: EMOTIONAL DAMAGEEEE!!!

Day 143 of Requesting Joe to Watch Neon Genesis Evangelion
Fucking Peakkkk!!!
Am I the only one who weirdly felt pretty cold after watching this episode? Also All Might went from being Super Man to become Iron Man
It is the same move he used to take down Toya/Dabi before he escaped to Gunga.
Best episode of MHA for me
字幕、やっぱりところどころ変だな、、、、、それでも通じるエンデの演技はやっぱ神
Yo, to be completely honest I just found your channel today and instantly liked your content and the fact you have reacted to a lot of anime's others haven't. Speaking of which, would it be possible for you to watch Chilling in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers? It's a isekai that I think you might enjoy based off of the other animes I have seen on your channel. Regardless thanks for another reaction and looking forward to the next!
I watched all 12 ep of Chilling in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers on Patreon. I don't plan on posting that on YT
Thats like nuke for anyone wondering dabi was becoming a nuke
And no that is the name of the move he used against Dabi in round one lol
One fight before All Might have to end
the best reaction videos the real one. where you feel the scene first and pause to comment.
half cold half hot is his quirk name
I'm SOBBING HAHAHAH
So fucking peakkkk
No hate but i can’t help that ever since you shaved your hair for that subscriber goal you never let it grow back again, is this cause you were balding and were like well it is what it is, or you like the look or you just like the low maintenance?
please, stop with pausing..
If you want to watch a reaction of someone that does not pause, you'll need to look elsewhere. Thank you, have a nice day
For as lame as I find Endeavor's arc to be, I can't deny, this episode was fantastic.
