That said, the big 3 are still Dragon Ball Abridged, Hellsing Ultimate Abridged and Sword Art Online Abridged. DBA takes a while to really get going, so I wouldn't suggest it as someones first abridged series. SAO:A is the most digestible and I'm guessing that Joe might've even seen that show before he started doing reaction content (not sure on that, though). My personal favorite is Helling Ultimate Abridged, though. Best one-liners, the original show is badass and it has the advantage of actually being finished, unlike SAO:A. It's also the shortest of them all.
If at all possible for another abridged reaction, I recommend the Goblin Slayer abridged for VA work alone. The way they speak is just so contagious 😂 “GAAAAWWBLIIINS”

Hey there! First time posting but I love your reactions! If you are serious that you may do abridged stuff I am all for it. I do have a suggestion: Watch a series you have seen before. Most abridged are good enough to hold their own, but the creators are working with the their knowledge and some of the magic is in what changes from original to abridged version. Assuming you have seen everything, my suggestion is SAO Abridged by Something Witty. Apart from being decent quality, it is one of the few, if not the only, abridged series I have seen that is straight up better than the original. Give it 3-4 episodes to get a groove and introduce characters and I think you will see the magic in it and want to watch as much as the rest of us.
My dude I would definitely like to see more abridged series from you there's a surprising number that are really good The first SAO abridged it's one of the most famous and is close to finishing the Fairy arc the biggest reason to watch this is Kirito has a personality and the relationship between him and Suguha isn't romantic thankfully and is actually pretty well written. Next is the Bleach Abridged is also pretty freaking funny is actually pretty good if you don't want filler they actually cut out all the filler and if it doesn't get referenced the jokes they make are pretty good Is it wrong to be an adventurer by Yaroshen is a Danmachi abridged it's pretty good and the later episodes get pretty mature and actually very well written Log Horizon abridged by Phatdog is really good and they did a shield hero abridged and a Toradora abridged. One big one I recommend is the JoyRide MHA abridged beginning episodes are a little short but my god the writing is immaculate because they take the story of MHA and make their own thing out of it it's just really good
