Iida has some of the best lines in the whole show. Whether it’s repeating Deku’s line back to him, or this one here to Shoto. “Thanks to you I’m becoming who I want to be. So you should be who you want to be too.” Iida is definitely an underrated character who doesn’t get as many moments as other characters but has great impacts in the ones he does get

Omg this episode is just MASTERPIECE, a gift for humanity. Yes dabi can't cry cuz he burns his eye socket, but he somehow cried here for the first time on a long time❤ Btw congratulations for reaching 1k🎉❤
The quirk doomsday theory has been around for awhile, doctor Garaki, the Nomu doctor coined it and he is over 100 years old. Due to his quirk. The implication with Dabi is that he was likely overheating big time in the fight with his Endev. That's why he was speaking nonsense. Yes, Dabi unconsciously woken to Rei's quirk when he was pushing himself beyond the limit to kill his father, the irony. Dabi didn't cry in the manga, because he can't cry. That was artist choice by Bone. His eyes are there, just trust the anime logic lol It's 21 episodes, so two more. Great episode, good reaction.
It's so tragic how Toya always had the possibility of using ice like man he could have been even better than Shoto, yes it took a near death experience for him to awaken it but if Endeavor had trained Toya like he always wanted then he might have had awakened the ice, if only Endeavor didn't give up on him none of this would have happened
I mean Toya demonstrated that he is way more powerful than Shoto, with just his fire, in their last fight in the end even with his new more powerful technique Toya was able to survive it and even copy it, and in this fight he goes even more hotter than before. I like in these fights how Shoto says that he indeed is no masterpiece at all, and Toya just goes hard and surpasses by far said 'masterpiece' is just insane.
Shoto really lives up to being called the “hero of the family” here huh. And for as monstrous as Touya has become, I feel like it’s only fair for the family to be the ones to ultimately save him from getting himself killed completely. And it was just in the nick of time too, since Endeavor had already given up on him yet again. There’s a lot of complicated feelings happening here, and I honestly wasn’t expecting the whole family to end up on the battlefield, but hey, it’s finally time for Touya to get the attention he’s deserved all this time.
LMAO I was crying until you guys keep laughing talking about Sugar Rush and now I'm conflicted whether to cry or laugh😭 Idk man his quirk is in the shadow compared with the rest of class A😂
I'm not sure 'transonic speed' is an accurate translation of the Japanese or maybe it was more vague how much time had passed in the manga and nobody considered the that the anime would feel like a different time scale. Transonic speed means approaching or reaching the speed of sound, Mach 1 in other words. The locations on the map of Japan showing All Might Square and the Gunga Mountain Villa roughly correspond with the real life locations of Yokohama and Wakayama, a travel distance of about 450-500km depending on whether they were high enough to ignore terrain and follow an 'as the crow flies' straight line. I think most people would agree that it took somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes for Iida to get Shoto to Gunga, which means Iida's speed would have been somewhere between Mach 2 and Mach 5. If they made that trip in 5 minutes then Iida and Shoto became one of the fastest flights in human history, even at 10 minutes "transonic" is a wild understatement.
Im not sure if this info is accurate since it was a while ago when i saw it, but i think it did took them around 20 minutes to get there, which is why Iida's engine on his legs is all busted, its way faster and beyond how long he used to be able to hold that speed
20 minutes would be roughly Mach 1 and make transonic an accurate description of their speed, the problem is that the analyst said they had 10 minutes or less before Dabi would explode. Then it took at least 2-3 minutes for All Might to convince them they could do it and for them to actually take off for Gunga. Rei, Fuyumi, and Natsuo couldn't have bought that much extra time with their quirks or their burns would have been far worse.
Exactly what point are you trying to make here? Endeavor stopped training Toya because his quirk endangered his life. It was Rei's neglect that gave Toya the opportunity to keep training with his quirk just as much as Endeavor's, if not more so. It took both of them being awful parents to set the chain of events in motion that lead to him becoming Dabi. Without that neglect he...leads a normal essentially quirkless life (possibly without the social stigma that a genuinely quirkless person faces) and still never manifests Rei's quirk due to being kept from training his fire.
@@gavinrad1 I'm talking about Endeavour as a whole, his abuse on Shoto especially. The character is written beautifully. "I take all the responsibility", a full circle. His focus on quirks and power made him blind, this was the final realisation that everything he did was not worth it at all, hence the apology to all at the end. Also I agree with your comment, mine could've been worded better.
@@akhandtripathipyz9888 Ignored Toya to lavish attention on Shoto, creating the opportunity for Toya to keep training with the quirk that was too dangerous for his health to use safely. Horribly scarred Shoto by assaulting him with boiling water. Used the healthcare system to hide from the 10-20 year prison sentence she should have faced for assault causing grievous bodily harm.
