I don’t know why people find it cringe episode today. So annoying. Nobody understands how toga became a villain and how ochaco tries to convince toga without killing her.
Gotta say, I wasn’t expecting to cry more than the last episode, but here we are. Toga’s finally getting the validation that she needed all this time. Wish they could’ve met sooner, since Uraraka’s really got a heart of gold.
This is actually sad, its about being born a freak, your expression of love hurts people unintentionally, you cant change it because you were born with it, so everyone rejected you your whole life, the only people who accepted you freaks like you rejected by society, they want to fit in but manipulated by a bad guy into thinking he might change something but his goals are for himself only. actually good episode dk what people are yapping about, since i saw some people hating on this ep.
The thing that makes this sad is Toga was a just a child that needed help as the same as other villains in the series. But instead Toga got scrutinized and abandoned by her parents instead of getting help, guided and loved. Labeled as "freak", "weird" and "inhumane" it's things like these that child that must never experience in their childhood.
i love this episode, but do i missremember or did they change a thing or two from the manga? i swear i remembered clearly the manga stated that Himiko is just plain psychopath from the get go, but the anime seems like more sympathetic towards her (or is it translation thingy? but i kinda hate the chapter, but i love the episode)
@@ilhamadigunawan5264 exactly, that's why i kinda shock and quite confused of why i didn't cry at all when i read the manga, i do feel pity but only the anime version that make me finally understand toga act, like through the manga, i still have little sympathy but the anime elevate the level of sympathy for toga. ( I'm never thought i'm sobbing so hard like previous episode)
@@Moonlight298ergh yeah it's weird. Maybe it's a medium problem, whereas in the anime not only we got a superb animation and voice acting, the soundtrack elevates it to a whole new level.
I always was able to like this storyline a bit, but I think this fight is what made me go back and actually reread through all of it to really understand it and it’s just so well done. From the Beginning, Uraraka had a love for Deku that made her want to be like him and emulate him, but because she felt like being a hero would conflict with her feelings, she concealed them and put on a mask, the same way Toga did her whole life. It’s why from the beginning Toga was able to understand and see through Uraraka and considered her “the sad one”, because unlike Uraraka, Toga was now living in her truth of who she was, someone who could openly love anyone and express it after years of repression. When the reporter from My Villian Academia shows up in togas thoughts, it reminds her of the fact that the common world sees Toga as just a help case/tragic story, and pities her way of life. But to Toga, she’s just living normally, she’s not faking. It’s why she couldn’t be twice completely, or the others. She didn’t want to murder people, she just wanted to be with the people who’d be able to make a world she could live in as herself. By Uraraka admitting her whole life story to her, and admiring how toga is able to do the one thing she can’t, express her feelings to the one she loves, she reaches Toga. Just by being someone with empathy. It makes sense because from the beginning, Uraraka’s feelings on life and people haven’t necessarily changed, but have just been reformed because of her experiences. Her wanting to see people happy stemmed from her parents. Her wanting to save the heroes comes from how she saw Deku giving his all even when broken. I even like how she admits that seeing someone bloodied and still doing their best is the coolest thing to her, because that’s what she’s always seen with both her parents and Deku. Hori just does a good job at tying things together and rewarding viewers for being invested.
I'm glad that there are some people who appreciated this episode I watched this episode on a website and the people in the comments were like This episode is Soo bad Soo much yapping Worst episode of all time I'm going to drop this shop etc etc So I'm happy to see someone understood the entire story
@@TheModdedGamer wait people actually think this episode is bad? :D Why because they can use their favorite excuse of talk no jutsu? People should go out more. So much conflict is solved by just talking, you can't just shoot anybody in real life either.
It’s such a damn good episode. Toga went her whole life being called “creepy” and having “the smile of a devil”. Her own parents tried to “fix” her when they easily could’ve accepted her and taught her how to live with her quirk. But instead they told her to hide it and that people would hate her if they saw it. Uraraka wanted to understand her. Not just because she wanted to help her, but because her ego wouldn’t let her give up trying to understand. She saw something that confused her, and refused to give up until she learned the truth. That final scene was definitely very cathartic for the both of them.
3:10 She is Curios. She once fought with Toga and mentally cornered him, but Toga's ability was awakened and Ochako's levitation ability caused her to float in the air and fall to her death. Her mental attack left a trauma for Toga.
3:05 The lady who wanted an exclusive with Toga during the Villain Arc. More specifically, she’s the lady Toga used Ochaco’s powers on for the first time and dropped her to her death.
I saw some comments saying they wasted their 20 mins in the anime site. I really don't understand how they can feel like that. It's like such people only care about fights. In other words, violence.
I'm one of those people who reall didn't cared about Toga/Uraraka's story BUT they did GREAT job with this episode and the voice acting carried it with the visuals. I'm more excited for th finale.. that's the what most people have been waiting since the start of season 7. I was spoiled by it but can't say I'm still HYPE to see it!
*Toga’s story is a sad one. Even with everything that she’s done, at her core, Toga isn’t some horrible monster looking to destroy everything that people hold dear. She’s someone who wanted to feel love, and to be loved by others. Bur she was never given the chance to actually learn and express love in a healthy way. Right now, Uraraka is the only person who has accepted her for who she is.*
Well some people not have. Great memory tho, it's understandable, especially season 5 a little bit underwhelmed. And some also prefer to read the manga rather than watch the anime, which also understandable.

Shigaraki's goals weren't just for him. He said that there was always room for his friend's wishes. All for one on the other hand...

Why’s no one reacting to the fact that Uraraka is on the verge of death which is why her quirk awakened right there 😔
I did react, I just didn't say anything about it in that moment. talked about it in the review part over on patreon.
