I've seen so many superteams, so called, that couldn't figure out how to work together. I am actually impressed with the way the Clippers are working together, to make their offense better than the sum of its parts. I'm actually kind of rooting for them to stay healthy and go as far as they can. Which is amazing considering that last year, PG and Kawhi were jokes of load management, Russ was coming off an awful Lakers stint, and Harden might have had the absolute worst rep by forcing his way out of Philly. Now look at them.
just watching harden being a floor general is such a joy to watch even to coaches as well. he just orchestrates everything so good like a conductor in music
Damn, I was already excited about the Clippers, but this video makes me like them even more. There was an infographic on one Clippers broadcast where Kawhi and Harden were respectively the first and second best iso scorers in the league (if I remember correctly). These guys are gelling so hard.
The offensive distribution is also great with all these guys being on the older side; allows them to mitigate some of the stamina issues that follow being older as well as saving more energy for them to defend.
For real, it is so resource expensive for what you are getting, but they all cover for each other, and somehow the Clippers still have some players around them. For this team, built around PG and Kawhi, this is the best version.

@@Noname61574 they do play 9 sometimes buy look at the box score and the usually have 4 or 5 DNPCD and 1 of those is Brand Boston. Latley Kobe only sees the floor during garbage time. He should be going 10 deep most nights durring the regular season even if the DNPCD guys only get 5 minutes. Look at OKC he goes 10 deep and everybody plays at least once in a while that is how you develop younger players and not play your stars heavy minutes without risking injuries.

It's beautiful basketball. Harden will initiate the 1st - 2nd Qtrs, then Kawhi and PG will close the 3 or 4th. Not to mention the positive energy that Westbrook is providing on court.
When the season started and the harden trade happened there was a lot of people trying to get Ty Lue out of the clippers. The players have def stepped it up since then but people need to give Ty Lue his props for making it work this well especially with James Harden's history the last couple years

Since 16 superteams offenses have been amazing. Stars with shooting ability(portability) have been amazing together. It’s been roster construction that’s been their championship downfall. Usually lacking depth or defense or rebounding. But playing together in a league where nearly every star takes multiple 3’s a game has worked.

But there were so much media pressure and all the idiots who are sheep and repeat exactly what they are told would not allow that. So it was a blessing in disguise that is ACL tore again because he got proper surgery this time. All the haters saying how he’s perpetually injured do not understand when you get a ligament replaced and it’s botched, it’s completely unstable and can go at any moment and that’s what Kawaii was feeling for the last two years. When he tore his knee, he still scored 38 points in the playoffs two games in a row, and when he’s on the court, he’s always the best player there is. If he had a better personality, we would talk about him as one of the greatest .
