- In this video, I install brass scales on my Benchmade Bugout 535.
I purchased these aftermarket scales from Flytanium. If you haven't heard of them before, they are a company that makes a huge selection of aftermarket parts, for tons of current model production knives. I think they did a fantastic job creating the design for these brass Crossfade scales. It makes the Bugout feel much more ergonomic in my opinion, and as I mentioned in the video, I love the added weight they provide. If you're looking for a way to enhance your Benchmade Bugout, check out their website here:

I want this so bad. it looks so good
great video, I've been looking to change out my bugout to brass scales and also wanted the classic brss. SOOOOO sharp. Very well done.
Probably my favorite look is the black blade with the brass, this has been my favorite knife to carry and use by far
They are currently in stock. For classic and new style.
They don't make bearings for this?
Where did you buy the bronze washers ?
How is looking after a few months of use?
Good to hear! Thanks for getting back to me. It was a tough choice but ultimately went with AWT flat dark earth aluminum scales.
Can you do a update video on the scales
How are you liking the weight on it
