Interesting concept, could be interesting. I just bought the Civivi Altus with wooden scales. Looking down into it the frame is machined to lighten it a good bit. I replaced the pocket clip with their Titanium one. FYI for anyone wanting to do the same, on any Civivi knife. On Amazon, for instance, when you find it, make sure you scroll through the pictures. It will give you the description of which knife it fits, based on the provided screws. The Altus Ti clip I purchased came with 3 sets of screws to fit different styles of Civivi knives. One of the Ti clips available will only fit four (I think) of their models, not the Altus. It uses one short and one long screws. They are longer than the factory screws because the clip is thicker at the mounting point. Just make sure you are buying the correct one. Thanks for the video brother, love those custom scales. Many people never want or need to disassemble their knives or even think about it. For most people, if something breaks it is not a question of fixing it but just replacing the item!
