Best Sony Xperia 1 IV review I've seen so fare. I really enjoyed the fact that you were totally neutral and you didn't based your review on the technical aspect but more on the usage. As you said, you won't recommend both phones to the same person. Thank you for being so objective, + 1 subscriber.
I've had the Xperia 1V since June and its definitely the best Xperia yet, think the V will have ironed out the little problems and will be the phone to watch out for next year.
@@SomeGadgetGuy If they add 1" sensor.. damn... If they add 48 mpx raw as iPhone did, pheew... if telephoto will have 24 mpx on the entire slide, oh boy... Complete model 😅 (PS: I am so sad, the phones are not that good at "macro" modes)
I do miss expandable storage and headphone jack. Even though I use neither currently, would be nice to have the option to. The one feature I'd love to see on all current phones is bringing the camera module in flush, and filling the extra room with battery or other features. No wobble, all win.
I just picked up the Xperia 1 IV since last 2+ months, and I don't regret it. It is one of my favorite phones I have ever used. Sure, it's not perfect (like not implementing adaptive 120Hz, heat issue, and 2-year of Android version updates), but I still think it is a perfect phone for me.
it's a good phone, and the heat issue has really improved since launch. now the only times it gets noticeably warm is when I accidentally leave a game on, or shoot an intensive video for a while.
Once again, no one does this better than Juan! His ability to logically assess tech, makes him the best at what he does! I hope he's getting the credit he deserves for this great work! Thanks again Juan for this great video!
at least when recorded by mic, the xperia's speakers are honestly night and day, the pixel sounds a bit overwhelming and tinny, where the xperia is comparatively very balanced and even
3:51 general specs can be easily found on websites but there are some specifications I wish you'd include; the actual focal length of the main camera for example, is a spec that's usually very hard to find online.
That sounds like good fodder for that super deep in the weeds video I was considering. Hopefully that idea gets some support (and this video is shared well) and I can make that kind of showdown...
I got the Xperia I IV just over 3 weeks ago and I'm very happy with it, I got the Android 13 update on the 11th November (UK user). I missed having a proper shutter button for taking pictures where you can half press to get it to focus, my last Xperia was the XZ Premium. I'm still getting used to all the manual settings for the camera, it's been great to use. I'd like to see a camera comparison between these two. I imagine that they have different strengths ie night photos on the pixel 7 Pro; but the Xperia I IV maybe has more realistic images , less processed look? Anyway just wanted to say thanks and keep up the great work Juan 😎
i wanted the 5 iv as well but it seems the 5iii might be the better phone.bsince as far as cameras they got rid of the zoom feature. rest of the phone is more or less the same.
JCB, as a Sony fan getting the Xperia 1 IV is a no-brainer for me but after having the Xperia 1 and Xperia 1 II, I'm really, really disappointed at the software support. Two years just isn't feasible anymore especially when everyone else is miles ahead as it pertains to 3-5yrs of software updates and at least 3 years of security updates. I will miss sd card support but the fact that I can't even trade the phone in (it's on NO One's trade-in list) leaves me a little irritated...
It's rough out there for sure, especially for those trade ins. In a weird way it helps the resale value a little, and sony's keep value decently well, but it certainly makes deal hunting for OTHER phones trickier.
Not to pick an argument, but the average phone ownership is still around 28-30 months that I've seen. Which means there are more people trying to hold on to phones for 3+ years, than folks who flip under two years.
@@FAT8893 it's not a great argument to say "people don't use the thing anyway, so why bother?" since, that's the same logic that got rid of headphone jacks, chargers in box, shutter buttons,
Warning, Rant: How about a replaceable battery, while you're wishing? And I don't really know what fool thought curved screens were a great idea. I want a versatile device that's made to last. You talk about a limited audience - but for a content -consumer- that likes things on phone versus in cloud...my wife wants a Sony just for the SD, jack, and a reasonably protectable device that will let her play a game or two and switch tasks capably. I simply do not know why a piece of tech this complex, this expensive to produce, can't last five years for those that don't mind missing out on some current bells and whistles. I still miss whatever thinking was behind the Note 4. We used those for as long as we possibly could. They lasted well. They worked well. They were worth the stinking money. I loved my headphone jack and a huge SD full of uncompressed music. I loved swapping in a fresh battery that was charging on an external charger. You can't even swap in batteries on a freaking ThinkPad anymore. Waterproof? Who cares if it's made of glass? Front and back? How many times have you just dropped one versus dropped it in the toilet? Swimming pool? Buy a case. My only criticism of this review is that you complimented how light it was. If they'd made it a little wider, a little heavier, maybe made the back plate a good heat conductor - bye bye heat problems. Light and thin is not the be all and end all of a mobile computing device for a power user. Versatility, reliability, ruggedness, repairability, backwards compatibility as well as forward.... It seems like these devices that can do so much of what a computer can, and so much of what a still camera can, and a movie camera - and are still trying to be our main communication device? And entertainment center? It's no wonder companies practically seem to panic about next year's model constantly and never mind about longevity. (Yeah, and they want you to keep buying as well, ofc.) Plus, there's average consumer that wants to be able to use all this without thinking too hard. There goes granular controls over your hardware. I miss things like my old Hasselblad. It seems like "buy quality" is not meant for electronics. (I drive a 4Runner.)
@@eclecticclay Imo replacement batteries would be not much use if manufacturers won't supply replacement batteries or atleast release the spec so third party can create decent ones. Getting a note 3 battery was as hit or miss as my sony XA1.
@@Lollllllz Appreciate your comment and at least skimming mine. I should never rant when irritated picking tech, especially. I enjoyed huge ZeroLemon batteries at times or simply whatever seemed the most reliable for my Note 4 for general use if smaller was useful (mostly for a great case). Sure, it often confused the built in battery meter, but there were decent apps that tracked battery switches decently. Oh well. It's concerns like a two year update policy plus concerns about repairability and, yes, that includes battery replacement, that make me hesitate a little getting an expensive niche tool like the Sony. (Sony is niche?) Well, more niche than a Pixel or Samsung. I also wish, according to other reviews, that the camera and sensor were a bit sharper compared to another of Sony's own products. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on one regardless - and I'm suggesting my wife get the Pixel. This has been an excellent, helpful review. Thank you.
The 1 IV is like a professional device without the 'pro' name. The camera app is like no other, same goes for the video and audio apps. The Pixel 7 is simply being a Pixel. Lol. But they're both great devices for different demographics
@@TaureanSmoke no one's denying that it does. The Xperia provides more flexibility and control, so once you know what type of shot you want, you can get it
Chose the Pixel 7 Pro reluctantly... I say reluctantly, it's an incredible phone but i wanted the headphone jack, better battery and narrower single handed display. Above all else however I value longevity and something this review doesn't mention os Sony's software support (or lack of). It appears 2 upgrades is all you get and at the end of the day I reckon its unfair to spend THAT MUCH on the Sony only to be tossed out (software wise) after a couple iterations. Pixel will provide years of support which wins the day for me.
The 1 IV looks so nice, but man it's way above my paycheck. Settled for the 10 IV and I like that some of the battery health controls are in there, though HS power control seems to be reserved for the 1 IV.

I just got my Sony Xperia 1 IV! So much to learn. I upgraded from my Samsung Galaxy S6, which lasted me 7 years! Question, what video tool are you using? I wonder if that is pre-installed in my Sony phone. Great dialect execution and voice over work, friend!
A nice test to do is coming back to pre-2015 phones and really see what eight years of improvement (or "improvement") have made. Especially when you start manipulating sub-5 inches devices, like the Compact line from Sony. If I could find way to retrofit a 4'6 inch OLED display on my XZ1 Compact, I would simply stop looking at newer phones for quite some time.
very nice review. I have the 1 IV but I don't love it. I thought I would enjoy the specialized features but I find I am not using them often. When taking a pic I'm fiddling with shutter speed and ISO options for too long. I needed a Pixel or a Samsung, basic point and shoot, standard power user features. Your review puts stuff in prospective. Thanks...
It's why it's so important that we spell this stuff out correctly to folks. It's not as simple as "gooder" and "badder". We really want to make sure folks get the RIGHT fit for their needs, ESPECIALLY when a phone is more niche.
You can recommend them both to the same individual in a very specific circumstance. For me I'm using the Google Pixel 7 Pro as my daily driver, however, if I'm going on a shoot to do productions right now I'm using the LG v60. But I would absolutely upgrade to the Sony Xperia and use those on production shoots because when I'm out producing I absolutely do need the headphone jack, the memory card and all that. But if I'm just out and about or doing something like Doordash or Lyft the pixel 7 Pro suits me fine and it's price tag made it a lot easier pill to swallow than if I were to get the highest end of samsung phones
do you have issues recording long videos on LG V60 recording the memory card? i do on my G8. if i record longer then 8min. the video like gets corrupted. and does not load. i have to either a switch recording to internal memory and then cut the video into 5mim videos then transfer to memory card or juts shoot 5min videos on external memory card. i have a samsumg 250gb memory card.
@@dnegel9546 This is not a memory problem, it is a processor problem, a technical limitation. Ultra high definition videos heat up the processor too much, that is why there is a limit of 6 minutes. Of course if you write videos in standard resolution then you really have some problems
I'd love to buy both of these phones and do just this. My Note 5 had a Pro camera mode and I loved it, especially for long exposures at night and the manual white balance (which locks, a very important feature). I imagine the Xperia phones being like this but even more control. Ugh, I want both.
@@АндрейЕлисеев-ы6й i actually dont have a problem recording on the internal memory. i did a 4k/60 20min video and worked just fine. i think it might be a transfer speed limitation between the sd card and phone. or something similar. 😕
Honestly, the Pixel is the phone for me simply for those communication software features. They built that phone for me 100%. With that said, from a pure hardware standpoint, the Sony is a dream and I would love to use it and support it because that niche is needed

@@SomeGadgetGuy if they just put headphone jack on a pixel 7 pro it would be an instant purchase, but I can't live without it. it sucks so bad that you can be willing to pay any price but they won't make a product for you. either I get the one that overheats massively and has a worse camera and the weird dimensions, or I get the one that misses a fundamentally necessary feature

Price is also an important comparison. The pixel 7 is priced around $599 while the Xperia 1 iv is about $1100. I will probably go with the Pixel, but I appreciate the features of the Xperia.
@@SomeGadgetGuy You always talk about Sony with all sincerity and clarity, and this is something I love about you very much. I'm still on my Samsung Galaxy S9 but it's on it's way out. I already knew the Sony Experia 1 IV is geared more towards people who studied photography and know how to use the options. I do not nor am I a content creator but I like the Sony phone. It's too aggravating for me to have to set a photo up first with all options or whatever. I just want to snap a photo or video quickly. Google Pixel 7 Pro has my eye although in some other reviews I've read that it was a little flimsy and slightly easy to break. Like the edges where the camera is so that concerns me. I was also waiting on the Motorola Razr to release in the U.S. I don't know it gives me a headache looking too much at phones in depth.
Uhhhh , you do know that the Sony has better image processing than the pixel 7 pro?? It also has auto-mode , just like any other phonecamera ... Only in low light conditions does the Pixel beat the Sony.
@@HRM.H No I didn't, that will make me reconsider getting the Sony phone. With the auto photo is the image still real good? I get using the pro features will make the photo better but as long as an auto pic if it's real good then I'm getting the Sony phone.

I really enjoy using the sony xperia 1 iv over the sony xperia 1 iii that I have. The weird thing is the battery life, I get better battery life on the xperia 1 iv even though it's get hot and the battery life drains faster on the xperia 1 iii even though I updated the software since it does not get very warm that much any more, however I never updated the software on the sony xperia 1 iv and I have manual max brightness on both phones since autobrightness is too dim on any phone plus 120 hz always on both phones, I have the same exact settings enabled on both of my sony phones, battery saving mode off, dark mode off
Well the 1 iv has a little larger battery and the 1iii has already seen a years use, so the battery will not be at exactly full capacity but not far off
Yea, I'd definitely like to see a deep in the weeds comparison of the cameras!!! That's literally what I thought this video would be. I still enjoyed this video, though.
Please make indepth camera comparison! I'm choosing between P7P and Xperia 5 IV. I like Sony more in every way but it has smaller sensors + all reviews say P7P cameras are MUCH better + dxomark gives P7P MUCH more points in photo + randomized blind tests of 2022 (mkbhd) made Sony Mark IV the worst camera flagman of the year. So I wonder what you can do using non-auto mode, does it help or P7P has really much better camera in RAW + post editing mode as well?
Juan, black on white and white on black with just your hands and INTELLIGENT commentary - mmmwaa. And no winner - mmmwaa. And I always watch to the end to see my name scroll by.

I think phones are a lot more fun when people really try to do things with them, and aren't pretending that "covering the basics" is the way to approach reviews on $800+ devices 😊👍
Fantastic comparison video! I really value your input on both of these devices. I have a Pixel 6 pro but really want to try an Xperia 1 iv. This helps immensely.
Amazing review! Can I really mirror the screen of xperia 1 iv to tv or any external screen through cable or mhl? That's a very big plus for me (and the headphone jack).
I won't touch a Pixel mobile until the camera software gets a Manual mode. AI photos are meh... The Sony could've been an awesome camera mobile/mobile camera, but the 85-125mm lens is a total disappointment. And not to mention the heat and the display problems. The battery life on the Sony is pretty good though.
i miss an exception toggle/button option on the sony in the stamina modes. cant use google maps normaly when using a stamina mode for roaming around cities. that is a bummer it think :(
An actual tutorial on how to use the Xperia Pro mode would be really appreciated especially for videography enthusiasts who are not professionals. It's funny how I had a V10 and V20 years ago and didn't think to ask you for a tutorial but I really think it would be much appreciated as this modes really want to be understood by some people and may increase the use
Would it be worth waiting 2 months for the new S23 Ultra with SD8G2 over the Xperia 1-IV if multitasking and switching speed between apps is of great importance? Not sure what's more important: the extra 4GB of RAM (16GB of Xperia 1-IV Gaming Edition) vs the CPU upgrade (SD8G2 vs SD8G1+)?
If you wait until s23 Ultra Available in the market So you can wait Xperia 1v The date of its announcement will not be far away but now Xperia 1 iv Worth buying. I think the price has gone down a bit ، the next Xperia will be expensive
Great comparison Juan. What settings do you use to get the Xperia working on a second screen like that? I can't get it working for some reason. Also, what portable screen/laptop she'll were you connecting it to?
In terms of power and features, the clear winner is the Sony 1 Mark IV. It is a high-tech product from a company known for exceptional quality, and this is reflected in its higher price point compared to the Google Pixel 7 Pro (which is 2 times cheaper). I sold my iPhone 13 Pro Max and bought a Sony 1 Mark IV. And I'm happy I did it. SONY is a really badass phone with high-tech and professional features and can be used as a professional tool for creators. Actually, this is the creator's phone. I just don't imagine myself now without that phone, it's a fucking treasure. I started to analyze then how good the video shooting is and I felt overwhelmed, the video was fantastic, Sony phone shoots even better than my DSLR camera. Bloody hell! After using Sony 1 Mark IV for a while, I got to confess that all of these other competitor phones like Google Pixel or iPhones seem like toys compared to Sony... Flawless victory. Whahahahaha!
Totally agree, the 2 phones are aimed towards very different audiences, and cannot be recommended both at the same time. Despite that, I'm a person in between, as I just love both universes. I love Google products, and the extreme usability they provides, but on the other hand Sony is the all time king of audio/video tech for more than 75 years, and therefore my favourite in providing pure highend functionality across several a/v branches. Therefore I'll go for the Sony, but if you cannot pick one, choose both ❤️
Techies keep talking about those "average" folks, but by and large I see people on inexpensive phones doing a LOT more with them than techies do on premium hardware...
It's also been awhile for me too, but last I looked into it was not as easy as installing the APK. There were extra settings that had to go into it. I was wondering the same, but I'm sure there's a video or a form for instructions.
In all reality, how possible it is to do all your 4k 120fps video and also photo editing on the Sony? If you were to do it, what software would I likely be using?
Thanks Juan! This was the video I needed. I to miss LG and what they brought to the table. As a long time user of them, Sony seems to be the only one to one replacement. I am at a time in my life where I feel I want the convenience of the Pixel but the hardcore tech inside wants all the features it has to offer. So far I am impressed with the Pixel 7 pro, but the curve screen is the most hated feature for me. Thanks again for all your time and effort you put in the video! I will continue to live through you on phones that my wife will not let get 😉😂
i would recommend holding them both. after holding them both side by side. i absolutely love how the sony felt. feels like holding a remote. the pixel feels like holding a big phone. which is kimda weird cuz on paper the difference is not that extreme. 😅

I have the 5 iii but recently upgraded from the Xperia 1 mark 1. I missed out on the iv series this year as there isn't enough for difference. However with next year's mark on v series I'll give my book 5iii to be the wifey and go for the 1 V or 5 v
I wanna see phones try to reassign sensor sizes: Biggest sensor for tele lens 2nd Biggest for Wide lens 3rd Biggest for Ultrawide My reasoning is for better Portrait quality and perhaps better bokeh simulations since the tele lens will distort less especially on faces than wide angle and the benefit of larger sensor to make shallower depth of field. The aperture might be lower for the largest sensor, but the lowlight capability of the sensor should be able handle it, and the ultrawide can benefit from night photo algorithm to capture brighter images.
I think Sony should put more work on the auto mode of yhecamera not only for the users but also for the marketing in order to grow on sales and attract the younger generation. With LG and HTC gone we have only 2 traditional companies that are still relevant and that is Samsung and Sony.
Excellent and entertaining video to say the least. You say you would not recommend each phone to certain individuals and you would recommend it to others. Which one would you personally choose?
I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and it supposed to replace my Xperia 1ii but no, it didn’t stand a chance. Then bought OnePlus 10T couple of days ago . It’s good but bad GPS. Pixel is heavier, larger, more slippery, worse battery life. On the plus side, it has much better telephoto, better basic camera, much longer software support, faster security updates, and more third party ROMs. Sony has better shape, size, battery life, HS power control, SD card, headphone jack. FYI, US model IVs (1 and 5) can't be bootloader unlocked (first Sony that's been that way in a long time, I believe) while the international model lacks 5G band n71, which is one of the many bands Tmobile uses.

Sheesh, I enjoy my Sony 1 Mark 4 so much, man! Fark, I've never had a better phone. Even iPhone 13 Pro Max was a toy compared to this Sony...
I do miss expandable storage and headphone jack.
Even though I use neither currently, would be nice to have the option to.
The one feature I'd love to see on all current phones is bringing the camera module in flush, and filling the extra room with battery or other features.
No wobble, all win.
This is the opinion that everyone should have. I am completely with you in that statement.
@@kusakabe3264 how long do you have to shoot for before it's a problem?
i just wished it had sonys own larger sensors. that every other premium phone has. 😅
How bad is the heat issue? I can't use a case on it because it'll just over-heat more?
How's the overheating these days

This is truly the best of both worlds. Of course, I would like a deep in the weeds comparison.
at least when recorded by mic, the xperia's speakers are honestly night and day, the pixel sounds a bit overwhelming and tinny, where the xperia is comparatively very balanced and even

Great shootout! Love both of these phones. I'd absolutely be on board for a deep dive camera comparison
Great video. I'm deciding between 5 IV and a Pixel 7 Pro, so I found this helpful. Interested in seeing that in depth camera comparison.
i wanted the 5 iv as well but it seems the 5iii might be the better phone.bsince as far as cameras they got rid of the zoom feature.
rest of the phone is more or less the same.

But then again, most people only keep their phone every year or two, so I doubt the long software update policy is even relevant.
Not to pick an argument, but the average phone ownership is still around 28-30 months that I've seen. Which means there are more people trying to hold on to phones for 3+ years, than folks who flip under two years.
@@FAT8893 it's not a great argument to say "people don't use the thing anyway, so why bother?"
since, that's the same logic that got rid of headphone jacks, chargers in box, shutter buttons,
i kinda wish other manufacturers still do the sd+3.5+no notch thing.
Same... Sigh...
Warning, Rant:
How about a replaceable battery, while you're wishing?
(Yeah, and they want you to keep buying as well, ofc.)
Plus, there's average consumer that wants to be able to use all this without thinking too hard.
And yet the pixel takes better photos and video, then the phone that's marketed for content creators!
@@TaureanSmoke no one's denying that it does. The Xperia provides more flexibility and control, so once you know what type of shot you want, you can get it
Let's do the in depth camera review. Great video!
I have my 7 pro but theres just something I miss so much about taking photos with my Xperia 1 iii I still go back to it tbh

That sounds fun.
I am still rocking it! 😎
very nice review.
Great comparison Juan. Enjoyed watching this!!
😊
Currently using the Pixel 7 Pro and absolutely love it. If the Xperia was available through carrier I'd jump onto it
Great comparison! May I put my hand up for that deep dive camera shootout, please?

@@dnegel9546 I haven't had that issue with standard, although I do hear it's a problem with HDR
@@dnegel9546 This is not a memory problem, it is a processor problem, a technical limitation. Ultra high definition videos heat up the processor too much, that is why there is a limit of 6 minutes. Of course if you write videos in standard resolution then you really have some problems

My Note 5 had a Pro camera mode and I loved it, especially for long exposures at night and the manual white balance (which locks, a very important feature).

Price is also an important comparison. The pixel 7 is priced around $599 while the Xperia 1 iv is about $1100. I will probably go with the Pixel, but I appreciate the features of the Xperia.
But you didn't factor price AND storage. Here the 512GB Sony is only $200 more. Considering all the extra tech, that's a reasonable price difference.

Gotta enable desktop mode in developer settings.
I really miss flat screen and headphone jack.
Therefore I'll go for the Sony, but if you cannot pick one, choose both ❤️
I wish we could get Sony's dual front firing speakers on more devices.

REALLY anxious to see what Sony will do for the V 🤞
I wanna see phones try to reassign sensor sizes:
Biggest sensor for tele lens
2nd Biggest for Wide lens
3rd Biggest for Ultrawide
My reasoning is for better Portrait quality and perhaps better bokeh simulations since the tele lens will distort less especially on faces than wide angle and the benefit of larger sensor to make shallower depth of field.
The aperture might be lower for the largest sensor, but the lowlight capability of the sensor should be able handle it, and the ultrawide can benefit from night photo algorithm to capture brighter images.
Great video! 17:06 "The pixel won't support video out" - what does that mean ?
You can't hook up a monitor or display or tv through the USB port. It won't put video out.
I think Sony should put more work on the auto mode of yhecamera not only for the users but also for the marketing in order to grow on sales and attract the younger generation. With LG and HTC gone we have only 2 traditional companies that are still relevant and that is Samsung and Sony.

Anyone have any thoughts of the Xperia 5 iv vs the Pixel 7 Pro?
Pixel is heavier, larger, more slippery, worse battery life. On the plus side, it has much better telephoto, better basic camera, much longer software support, faster security updates, and more third party ROMs. Sony has better shape, size, battery life, HS power control, SD card, headphone jack. FYI, US model IVs (1 and 5) can't be bootloader unlocked (first Sony that's been that way in a long time, I believe) while the international model lacks 5G band n71, which is one of the many bands Tmobile uses.
I need to know how you did this, and what is the touch screen device you are using (17:08). When I connect my sony to my hdmi port, all I get is the default screen, not that screen filling goodness you get. Thanks Juan!
Check my reviews of uperfect and nexdock on this channel, and on your phone enable desktop mode in your developer settings 👍
@@SomeGadgetGuy Thanks for the quick turn around! While I was sitting here I sorted it out, I used a usb-c dock, and one of my monitors unused hdmi ports. This desktop mode is "good enough" relative to Dex, as all I want is a larger screen/keyboard/mouse for LumaFusion. (Which is faster than my davinci resolve setup when it comes to exporting video???!!!).
Thank you again, I love your different trajectory when it comes to phones, and YES a more indepth video. :)
love the pixel but i'm not ready to give up features for a "premium" experience
Yeah Juan I like the speakers better on the Sony👍
That kind of surprised me! The Pixel is louder, but it also gets "brighter". Both are fantastic, but those little differences in tuning are starting to matter on premium phones.
@@SomeGadgetGuy I agree 👍
I bought an open box Xperia 1 IV for $900 and being a huge LG V60 fan I really enjoyed the phone. Took some nice pix with it in the manual modes and using some of the built-in filters. Also loved having a physical fingerprint reader that was super fast. That being said I decided to return it and wait for the 1 V to come out in a few months. There were a few hiccups in the IV which although I could overlook I'm hoping gets ironed out in the V (eg, random restarts, especially after using Android Auto). Looking towards the 1 V.
BTW, the headphone jack was great to have back although I thought LG's sounded better. RIP Quad DAC.
Hello, are we still on for an interview?
Leaving comments on youtube videos is a poor way to get follow ups to emails. Shoot me another reply please. I'm CRAZY swamped, and I'd rather not mute you from YT.
@@SomeGadgetGuy Ok sorry.
All good.
I, on the other hand would always recommend Juan to everyone.
I owned the Sony for a while and it was an amazing phone. If they add macro on the future Sony V, it'd be my perfect phone.
I'll be picking up the Sony soon. Had the pixel 7 pro for about a month now and it's incredibly dissapointing. So many bugs it's insane
Bugs? Really??
What is the touch screen laptop that you connected the phone to. Looks really interesting and useful
I've reviewed a few. Check for NexDock and Uperfect on my channel.
Head over hills for that expandable storage on a phone with a better than average camera, even if not the best, having the storage puts it a leap ahead for me
I like it both.
Both are good at what it's intended usage.
Both not available to our country, with no hope of repair if something goes wrong.
XD i just hope they provide after sales support world wide so I could buy it willingly
They're both VERY good at what they do.
@@SomeGadgetGuy yeah. They both could pay attention to aftersales support.
A filipino reviewer had a broken pixel 6 and like me he wasn't able to have it repaired.
My 5ii got a broken oled panel, it suddenly grows green and pink line(probably a samsung panel)
I really want to love it but it stresses me out, I've been trying to reach sony for a repair for months now.
Oh that's DEFINITELY a pain point, especially for regions like yours where there is BARELY any presence from the manufacturer.
The Pixel is also not available in my country, so it's a shame that I can't try out Tensor SoC unless I import one. Sony never leave my country though.
@@FAT8893 How to migrate there?
How to enable detailed statistics in Game Enhancer? In my case there is just a simple switch between modes.
Watching it from a Sony Xperia 5 IV. It's great. My plan was to buy Pixel 7 but when I tried the Xperia 5 IV...I got hooked to the design and the interior.❤
