    Great job DOF, 5.11 should hire you as their video salesman! I have a pair of 5.11’s and great pants. I have about 4-5 different pants from different companies. I like the 5.11, Vertex and Tru-Spec’s the best so far. Thanks for the video. Merry Christmas buddy! 🎄 I hope you’re able to get with family and celebrate.

    Started wearing these, bought 2 pairs so far: dark blue for work and coyote for leisure.
    Will definitely be buying more, very high quality, great fit and design as you've said.

      Also clipping knives into them as internal holsters. Very big plus keeping them out of sight living in Australia where knives in public can cause some stern reactions.

    I love these trousers/pants, having moved over from Craghoppers. Craghoppers were my first and all I knew, but I was becoming unhappy with them, more and more. Went to these Stryke pants and I absolutely love them. Amazing and well worth the money.

    I also have the Tactile Pros and these Stryke pants. Actually I love the rear deep pockets in the Tactile Pros...so handy for putting things in for quick access..I'd prefer they had those on the Stryke.. Love them both but the Stryke are more comfortable to wear...the stretch fabric is awesome for freedom of movement. They are also quick drying...I put them on an indoor clothes rack and they almost dry overnight with no heat.

    I've had mine for over a year now, but the black has drastically faded and look very shabby now. They don't stay jet black and smart unfortunately. I've used them for hiking and some security work, just a shame they get scruffy so quick.

    ya gone through 5 pairs of these in 10 years, the material is great but for guys with thicker thighs, it just rips at the crotch line with wear and tear, still appreciate the side hip pockets you can store mags knives what and have you, though the material is a little too fragile for me. Just go with taclite pro for the most part, they're a lil bit more rigid.

    Good review, DOF. I like 511 pants, but I only have a couple of the Tactlite Pro. I was wondering - are you authorized to carry at work? I see you were wearing a USDHS shirt so I assume that you can. Also, I read a quote from your Governor today. He said regarding a Stand Your Ground law, "if you think I'm going to give more power to the gun folks, are you kidding me?". If he runs in 2020 he may as well run as a Socialist.

    I just bought a pair in 30", rather than my usual 32" size. What I've found to my surprise, is that these pants are extremely uncomfortable.. Particularly when sitting, crouching, and particularly in the legs and mostly the crotch, they are very restrictive nowhere near the level of comfort I had expected.
    Do you think going a size up will fix this or is it the design of the pants?

    • @tristanhunt9098
      @tristanhunt9098 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How long did it take until your crotch ripped or tore? Mine was maybe 3 months for two pairs of pants! Both just after 3 months of wearing them for my job I notice the crotches ripped or tore. What a joke. Expensive price, but cheaply made.

    I don't want to sound like a smart-alec here but I get the idea that you place too much emphasis on your equipment. I've seen videos where cops have every piece of equipment you can think of attached to them and yet some scrawny wiry crack-head will reach out and just punch two of three them down to the ground in short order. Like the old saying goes, it's not the dog in the fight, it's the fight in the dog.
    And what about physical fitness also ? I drove through small rural town and stopped into a restaurant only to spot the local law enforcement contactable who must have weighed in at over 375 lbs. I'm not exaggerating here and realized that even the slowest criminals could easily outrun him. Well, what the hell ?
