    Hi Anna, It has been a long time since you have heard from me. Not sure if you remember me but we used to communicate quite a bit when you first started out here on TH-cam and on IG. I haven't had a lot of spare time to paint since my husband passed away just over 2 years ago but I will hopefully get back to it on a regular basis this autumn/winter. I have continued to watch your channel and always enjoy watching your fabulous tutorials. You are such an inspiration. I am so happy to see how much your channel has grown and to see that you have so many subscribers. You truly deserve it. You are such a fabulous artist and teacher. Sending you my best wishes, Carla xo🤗💜🎨

    Anna, I have only just found your channel these past two days and I must tell you that your artwork is pure magic. Your use of colors and your attention to fine details are such an inspiration. There are really no words that are adequate to describe how exquisite each and every one of your tutorials are. I am 65 years young and art has always been one of my lifelong passions. After a very, very long hiatus of over 20 years, while raising my family, I decided it was long past time to dust off my easel, purchase new supplies and get back to doing what I love the most. Watercolor is relatively new to me since in my earlier years I focused solely on oils. So, I consider myself a beginner at the moment. In the past few months, I have been following other artists here on UTube and have learned so much. Louise De Masi, Maria Raczynska and Paul Clark are some of those whose art and tutorials I admire so much. But, I must tell you that your artwork and your patient style of teaching have me absolutely enthralled. The first thing that I am going to do after sending this message is to head straight to your Patreon site for info and instructions for registration. I feel so very fortunate to have found you, you are truly a gem!!

    What an absolute pleasure to watch. The colour play is amazing, I'm always stunned by the beauty of your work. Thank you again for sharing it's mesmerising watching the colours dance on the pages. Love the lotus but see what you mean by contrast, the colours work beautifully with the duck though. I'm sure whatever you go with will be wonderful, looking forward to your next post. Thanks again.

    You are a prime example how one person can make a positive difference of the quality of life for many! Your teaching style and talent is extraordinary. Outstanding photography really adds to the tutorial. When I try to add the details, my pieces are so overworked. My personal preference for the BG would be water or simply rendered greenery. I feel that anything too busy would detract attention from the magnificent main subject.
    Thanks for the intro music - my surname is Ukrainian, and the Y was originally a J.

    This is beautiful! Since you're asking, I think that the flowery background confuses the eye. A modified version of the reference photo would be much more effective, with the snow as contrast and the leafless bushy growth connecting to the warm colours of the feathers. If I may ask you for something, it would be slightly longer videos, perhaps 30 minutes, like Paul Clark's tutorials. This one is a bit jumpy and I think you would increase your number of views and subscribers that way - just my opinion. Thank you for showing this picture!

    I love how you hype the colors and don't shy away from detail! The eye and the feathers around it have great contrasts for drawing the eye in! So lovely 🥰Cheryl

    Could you please do a lesson on your process for deciding on a composition? I struggle to work out how to combine foliage and flowers from other references as a background to my main subject in a pleasing manner. I don't know where to start. Also, just joined your Patreon and I am so pleased with how you've organised it. I've have been a Patreon member for other artists in the past and found their website navigation to be so difficult - endless scrolling to find what I want. I really wish the Patreon developers would lay it out like Pintrest with columns of thumbnail images for each post. The pinned Index of tutorials you've provided is very useful when I'm choosing what to try next.

    • @AnnaBucciarelli
      @AnnaBucciarelli  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure thing! I mostly use rounds, never more than #6. Mostly I find myself reaching for #2 and #4 rounds, occasionally double zero for tiny details. But keep in mind I work on 12x12 inches paper so if you go bigger - get larger sizes 😊 oh and I use flat Chronos #10-12 for wetting larger areas!

    • @Horsewoman-pt2ku

      @@AnnaBucciarelli I was going to get the 1 & 4 as you used the 1 in a painting. Should I get the 2 instead of the 1?

      Hmmm ☺️ this is interesting I actually have another reference photo with this duck in water which I almost painted but…. I wasn’t sure about my “water painting” skills. I technically know how to I just… lack confidence to be honest 🙃 but you know what I will do a water video soon, I’ve never done one - and you have me a good idea 💕 ps: sorry I haven’t yet uploaded the originals - i was late on a bunch of projects but I will now!!! Have a great day!
