  • Top 10 most corrupt cities in the United States.
Political corruption isn’t just in Washington, DC with presidents, members of Congress or Senators. we have seen police officers indicted, elected city officials hauled off in handcuffs, and influence peddling operations with politicians reaching all new lows.
If you are looking for signs of corruption you need to start with budget shortfalls, rumors of nepotism, corrupt police departments, and city officials going on vacation with real estate developers. Those are just a couple of the warning signs.
Thanks for checking out the channel. I hope you enjoyed today's video. If there is a state, city or town you'd like us to do a video about let us know in the comment section.

Thanks for stopping by The world according to Briggs, I make lists. Not just lists of random stuff, I make them about states, cities, towns, and other places in the United States. I post 3 times a week and sometimes live stream. Enjoy.

Everyone knows that there is a lot more cronyism is small towns. I know personally because I grew up in one. The cops/judges were all family/friends with the criminals, etc.. Pretty much anyone who was not friends with the judge or cops would have to go to a higher court if they didn’t want to to automatically have their case thrown out.

So basically people keep each other in line. The elite really don't have to do anything. The masses do their work for them. It's scary.

I've lived in New Orleans and almost wrote abook on Ten Reasons to Never Live in New Orleans.
    10. Dont drink the water. Water is mainly from the lake. Nasty.
    9. Traffic. Don't drive if you can avoid it.
    8.Corrupt politicians (Since the 1700's)
    7.Corrupt Police. (Very scary)
    6. Taxes are high. (Don't buy a large ticket item unless you don't mind being robbed) I
    5. Lousy school system.
(Teacher heading the reading program stood up in front of all the teachers in a start of school meeting an said, "We be gonna have a good year".
    4. No Left turns. ( This is strange. You are traveling north on a street and. You want to go west. You must pass the intersection and negotiate a U-turn. Then upon returning to the intersection make a right hand turn. Very strange)
    3. Hurricane season. ( It is important to realize the entire city is a few feet below sea level. It doesnt matter where you are,. You need a life raft.)
2 Crime. (Look, if the cops are corrupt criminals know it and don't worry about getting caught.)
    1. Cajun talk. (while working a desk at a temp agency, I ran an ad for a receptionist. I remember getting a call from Barbra. It was memorable because she claimed to be a receptionist but I couldn't understand a word she said. There were a number of international oiil companies and I couldnt imagine sending this young lady to any of them. She sounded like someone from the projects. A few days later this beautiful lady showed up for an appointment. As soon as she opened her mouth I knew who she was, " I'm here for an appotement. I be a wecepsionist.". If I had false teeth they would have dropped to the floor But this is normal in NOLA. It makes communication a joke.

Exactly, if there were a #11, it'd be San Francisco. In the last 3 years, they've made a Billion (yes, with a B) bicks more than the year before. A city with a population of about 825k-850k, and they make $13Bil. . . some states would love to have that. And they're claiming "poor mouth." After the essentials (public safety, schools, city services, etc. And they give away about $1.1Bil to nonprofits, which 1/4 are frauds --- where is the rest of the $$?!) there's nothing leftover. And before GoldenState chimes in, this SF native did move out, about an hour north. And if it weren't for family, I'd leave this corrupt, one-party, intolerant state. Though it is a beautiful state.

Tho tbh corruption doesn't care who is on what side, folks with power tend to let greed be their main trait.
