it works whe n i hard edges but when i soft is mess the mesh again i tho was a normal proble so i set my normal to face it fix it but again it hard my edges, i soft it buum agan black spots everywhere
hi, if we have a lot of edges or a medium-mesh then how we can soft or harden all the edges, if we can do as you can show us on video, then it's a very lengthy process to do, but in a blender, it automatically adjusts all the hard and soft edges I think, is this anyway in Maya, a quick way. Thanks
This is a great tutorial, but it didn't help with my issue. I have some weird darkening of some faces after I merged vertices and nothing I've done thus far has helped...
Just what I needed, thank you!
Thank you so much! It was very useful!
thank you bro
So i have the same shading issue on my model but My hard edges are still showing up with the shading issue when i do the soft/hard edges fix
Try checking your geometry: doubled up/overlapping verts, bad faces. Rebuild the faces with those edges if necessary.
Nice one Thanks

Take a look at Mesh Display > Soften/Harden Edges Options. This will allow you to set soft edges based on an angle of all the edges.
@@WorldofLevelDesign Thanks. Got it
