    Hi, is there a way to export the soft edges too in Unreal, just like smoothing groups would do? My main problem is that I need to soften my model without adding any geometry (smoothing groups in 3ds max are perfect for this) I can't find an answer for this, do you have a solution? Thank you so much, have a great day :)

      Hi, sorry for the delay.
      But you can export your mesh as FBX and turn on smoothing group while exporting.
      You'll see the option in the panel on right when you're exporting.

    Hello Hitesh! I'd like to know if u ever used Crease Tool, and if u do, what can u tell about it? This tool seems to be useful with Smooth mesh in Maya

    • @3dwolf
      @3dwolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It smooths out the edges without increasing the number of polygon count in your mesh.
      You can also control the the hardness or softness of your edges you're using crease tool on.

      @@3dwolf So it is similar to Harden\Soften Edge Tool?

    • @3dwolf
      @3dwolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes but you can't control and maintain the hardness of edges in soften/harden edge.
      With crease tool you maintain all that.
