Just finished making this and loved it!! I was one of the people that didn't keep a close eye on the teff and it got pretty thicc! It loosened up as soon as I added my plant milk which hot water blended with tahini. I made the stewed apples with what I had on hand. Maybe not fully alkaline but definitely healthy and super nutrient dense. Goodbye oatmeal!!

I have some Red Mill Teff flour in the cupboard and haven’t known what to do with it. I was going to make Ethiopian injera bread but once I saw the lengthy process I was intimidated by it and left it alone 😏. Now I will make porridge out of it. Thank you!

Yup, Injera requires some time. There are short cuts, but it won't come out the same. Yup, make it. Teff porridge is delicious.
