Use the ally points to recruit units/ borrow armies. If they are high elves you can send the allied high elf army in to perish. Maybe make them easier to confederate
If you aren’t recruiting an allies’ unit from their roster just request their army, and if they are high elves, you can use the army for some nice martyrdom and hopefully confederate them easier

I always forget I can steal an army. Usually my allies don't have any good stacks, but that might not be the case in the campaign
I could tell you what to do, but I suck at this game, lol. But I do love to watch it, though.
Even more of a reason to make a suggestion, it could destroy the campaign haha
