I'm living proof that finding a traditional Thai wife is possible. Actually found her on the dating app Thai friendly. We chatted a little before we met in person and I think that helped. Was able to get a feel as to what your of person she was, if she was talking the truth lol
But we met and everything worked out. Coming up on 5 years of marriage, living in California. Bright her daughter here, was agreed on way before. I'm not an asshole lol. I have a good job but she likes her own money, lives Amazon, so she works and works hard. Helps with bills and is an amazing honest trustworthy wife and friend. It's totally doable so don't listen to the negativity about Thai women but also trust your gut and be smart. There's evil women in every country. 😂

That's encouraging I'm on that app too, I've spoken with many women I'd like to find a partner there are a lot of scams but occasionally you find one that seems genuine. Anyway I'm heading there in a few months kinda lost faith in western women.

Obviously, the material point is to what degree. If you want to ignore the prevalence of dishonesty in Thailand with Thai women that is your choice. There is a good reason Thai women living in Thailand have the reputation they do. It was not pulled out of the air. I know, I have been deceived repeatedly.
I took Claudio's advice and watched videos from vloggers living in the Philippines. One thing that the vloggers who have successful relationships with women have in common is that the women all come from a good family. These women come from households with a father and a mother present and neither the women, nor their parents ask for money. Good traditional women can be found. A guy who is looking for a relationship with a traditional woman does not have to settle for a financial arrangement.
Claudio, I will definitely stay in touch. Thailand has much to offer when it comes to food, infrastructure, medical care, and quality housing. I am also hearing that it may also be easier to find peace and quiet in TH. I will land in Bangkok and then visit Pattaya, Chiang Mai, and a few other areas to get a sample of what it would be like to live in different parts of the country. If all goes well, I plan to travel within the next month or so. Thanks again!
I've worked most of my life 6 days a week at a minimum of 8 hours a day but typically between 12 and 14 hours per day. Now that I'm older and have money I just don't understand why these girls feel entitled to my money just because they have a kitty. Explain it to me like you're trying to sell me on why I should get married. This video really speaks to me.
It's very, very simple.....they do not feel entitled they simply understand how the market functions and take advantage of it like most capitalists. They do not believe they are entitled to your money or any other person's.....they ask and men pay. Not too often do they steal, they know the law.

Spot on with the comment on reluctance to answer questions. Asking a Thai woman questions is like pulling teeth. Even about something trivial. If it's a question that actually matters, you can be sure the answer won't be honest 99% of the time, if you get an answer at all.

I remember a conversation in Bangkok back in the day - 23 years ago.
3 of us going out in BKK and talking about women, what else.
My friend had found a new girldfriend.
She was very good looking. A 9 in my opinion. She was also a good girl. Kind, intelligent.

His facial expresion chamged from happy/ cheerful to sad/ depressed looking.

At the time I did not realize all the shit he had been through. Later on, in 2010, after having lived in Thailand for a couple of years I realized that he had been dead seriuos that evening in BKK 10 years earlier.

I watched this with an open mind because I had concluded finding a traditional woman in Pattaya was impossible. Daz, this is probably the best video you ever made. It's not talked about but once your over 75 if you make it you cannot get insurance so if anything major goes wrong you pay big money at the hospital or go to your home country and if you've been gone long enough even they will make you jump through hoops in some western countries

That was some good advice. I love the “rubbers in the car story”. I will definitely remember that one and use it. I have a friend that put in his profile “ no money until you become my honey and that all depends upon you”. That sets the tone right off the bat. You guys work as a good team. Hopefully run into you guys one day in Pattaya.

Having gone there many times over the last 35 years, it is like finding a needle in a haystack, they are few and far between in Pattaya. Much easier to find a genuine uncorrupted lady elsewhere. 👍

I believe that every relationship is transactional. In short term situations there is money exchanged for services delivered and in long term relationships it could be security, physical attraction, intellectual compatibility, wanting children etc. Whether in Thailand or anywhere else in the world it people are in a relationship, short or long term there is an exchange of one sort or another. Unfortunately only few relationships are successful for life given the divorce rates and plethora of unhappy relationships which persist for monetary, religious and familial reasons.
I hate to bring it to you but if a woman just wanted to ride a carousel she would have to see which program you're gonna out her under.

It's possible to meet good Thai girls in pattaya during festivals, especially if you speak a bit of Thai. This Friday and Saturday will have the best opportunities of the year. Use it guys lol.
Claudio's best advice really is not to assume anything, and to explain things very calmly and carefully with a foreign woman. You can see that he has real and valuable experience in Thailand. Many foreigners assume too much.

@@claudiospies1905 I would recommend Cebu in Philippines to find a good lady who speaks good English. Yeah, the food and infrastructure are not that great but you could always move to Thailand, or take regular holidays there. For me, the Filipino people are far more friendly than Thai, and that is very important to me.

Guys! Please take this in and remember it! You are far far better to remain a single happy guy and have a small " harem" of regular contacts that you have a good chemistry with ( plus add the odd new one now and then😉) , than to settle for one woman! I have met thousands of guys over the past 32 yrs that thought they had met that special lady. I can honestly say I can count on two hands the successful couples I still know that are happily together after 10 years.

The comments about the girl's job really struck a chord. I really like a particular massage girl, who btw meets the age "criteria". One of the "nearly forty girls" that look 26-28! OMG!! Isan farm girl who has been raising her daughter alone for the last 10 years and has been in Pattaya only 1 year and doesn't like it at all. Unless she's a top level actress, she seems to be among the very very few quality women I've met in Pattaya these past 16 months. But, as you said, the 80hr job is a joke. So, I am assessing whether to pursue any further or not.

Lol I could NOT even MAKE this girl shop!! That was a bit of a welcome shock. She is so polar opposite of every other woman I have met here that I suppose I am waiting for the bubble to burst. She is back in Isan now working the annual June rice crop with her family. I am moving in 3 weeks to south Jomtien. 50 sq meter, corner unit, sea view, 15th floor, washing machine, TRUE internet included, unbelievable sea breeze blowing through the slider and casement windows. I anticipate my electric bill dropping maybe 40%. Even with the usual agency 1000 baht add-on, rent is only 13k. I love low season!! Anywho, thanks again for your awesome video!

This is so funny. The week before I came to Thailand recently, I met a Chinese English lady. i.e born in China but married an Englishman 20 years ago and became settled in England. Later she divorced the Englishman. Anyway, she is single now and looking for a man, and me a woman. She seemed quite genuine, and while in Pattaya I was whatsapping her while she was in the UK and I was in Pattaya feeling very naughty for even being there... and it was looking so promising... i was being a good boy. Then one evening (Thai time) she started asking about my qualifications. I found this odd. I retired 5 years ago. Then she asked if I could work again if I wanted? I said yes, but why would I want to? Then she asked me how much my pension was. I ended it then an there. It was obvious she did not want a relationship. She wanted an ATM. Forget it. I did not work 35 years to be any girls ATM. If I choose to be an ATM, that is up to me, but I am not dating a girl who is looking for an ATM! Pardon my French but fuck that!

I really appreciate this channel. I think it is the most informative channel I have seen regarding Pattaya. I am considering a visit next year, maybe after the high season has ended. Probably just going to have fun for holiday, but Thailand is one of a few countries I am looking at to retire. The infrastructure in Thailand seems very good for the price, but I am often thinking it might be better to try to have a serious relationship with a Filipino and then live in Thailand, if that is possible. The Phillipines seem to be just as cheap but with less infrastructure and brownouts.
The dark side of Filipino culture greatly outweighs the dark side on Thai culture.

Are the issues that you pointed out regarding the Philippines less of an issue in Thailand? The infrastructure, food, health care are rated higher in TH than PH. I was under the impression that the family issues were the same in both countries.
The best option is get a Filipina and bring her to Thailand and you have the best of both worlds
No issue you can bring her to Thailand on a dependent visa if you marry her 😉

I like this man. I first saw him on Gio from the Philippines. He gives excellent advice/information.
Great video and story. Loved the rubbers in the car one. Not sure there's a problem with the for money relationship though. I've been married twice and neither one stayed so it's not like they will leave your death bed. The money you might actually keep them around a little bit longer. But one side dries up forget about it.
If you're talking traditional, then .... The role of the man is to provide and protect. The role of the wife is to bare and look after the children and keep a happy home. Straying from this path tends to end in tears. If you are middle aged or older and only want a stable companion, then someone close to your age will be the right choice. Stay in your lane and you should be fine.
Middle aged women are a burden. They are a minefield. You don't know if she has a husband/boyfriend/kids stashed away and will demand a lot of money or have you killed for your assets.
