    Great video! I would sublimate the image on the fabric first, then press the ultra bond to the fabric and trim as needed, lastly press the image to the shirt

    Great video, thanks for sharing. To stop your fabric edges from fraying you could use a shear (zig zag scissor). I use this method to sub but with lighter weight polyester.

      @@MikeTees this may seem like a silly question, but should the 100% polyester piece of fabric be on the thick side or does that matter? I purchased some HeatnBond Ultra Hold and tried twice, but bombed LOL.
      Not sure if it matters that the one I purchased has white instead of grey where the bond part is. The bond has no problem sticking to my polyester and image, but comes right off of the sweater, LOL.
      Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you :)

      @@chrissyouimette7871 from what I have learned you can sub on each side , also there was like 100 different materials for this so called wedding dress material, So I just picked one. to insure the garment actually stays on im going to do a was test with this and another with the bond and gorilla glue ,Thanks for watching Greatly appreciate you!!!!!! I think white is regular and grey is super strength not sure I will do more research!!!!

    Great video!
    I haven't tried this method with sublimation yet, but I have when using cotton fabric to make greeting cards on yardstick. I get no fraying and precise cuts when I press the heat bond on the fabric first then cut it to size with a guillotine cutter. I also heat fabric side up to make sure I have no wrinkles.

      I have had smae issue I believe it needs to be pressed longer but I only used this as a way to experiment with being able to add sublimation to any color it is a quick fix but not permanent so I use CottonSubs mainly or now Dtf prints ! Thanks for watching Greatly Appreciate you!

    I was actually thinking of doing this today but thought I'd see if anyone else has tried it. LOL I only have the little strips but your idea is much better! Thank you so much!!!...How did it hold up in the wash?

    • @MikeTees
      @MikeTees  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the seal is there it will last for a long time however if done incorrectly it will fall off in wash that bond really has to be sealed thanks for watching Greatly Appreciate it!
