I'd like the looks, sounds and performance of this machine. I like to see you machining some mild and some tool steel, i am very curious how that is running. Keep on posting 👍

I think It sounds like that because his optimal load (step over) is too high and his cutting feederate is too slow. The machine is pretty fast, so the stop using it like a manual mill. You need to increase your cutting feedrate and decrease your optimal load and make use of those swift rapids. "Cut-Light-Cut-Fast"

Peter is one of the very few lucky ones. More often than not these machines are like mine, absolute POS that break constantly and good luck getting the Chinese to honour their warranty, or local techs to even come and have a look at it. Do yourself a favour and spend a little more for a reputable non-Chinese machine or be prepared to have an expensive 1.2T paperweight sitting idle in your shop

You can push that way faster with hsm. You should favor doc over woc. Start with a 10 to 15 percent stepover and take a full depth cut in aluminum. Give it all the rpms you got. With adaptive you should be able to move that cutter at 100 ipm if your work holding is rigid enough. This will also evenly wear the endmill and save you money on endmills not having to replace it when the bottom sections wears out.
