I think it might be a fire/flying blaziken, a water/ice empoleon, and a grass/psychic meganium due to some recent unrivaled tera raids. You can group together most other unrivaled starters into trios seen before, including the kalos starters as a possible previous hint given this way but these three don't seem to fit into any other group as of now.
Ohh fire flying I didn’t even consider that, I could even see that being a meta in battles so I’d really love that. You know I’ve missed meganium it’ll be nice to see it again if it is. I didn’t even consider the last 3 unrivalled raids. You might be onto something there 👀
You know what's weird about Meganium getting an unrivaled tera raid and not Serperior?
I think the reason is because it was released in April.

I think you’re right about grass and water but I think Fire will be Scorbunny for some reason.
My dream trio though would be Charmander, Snivy and Quaxly. I’d genuinely not know which one to choose if it were these three.
You know I’d not be opposed to Scorbunny I think it can still work with fire electric too, and it’s ball being a plasma ball of some sort. I would though do anything for a Charizard but he’s Pokémon’s baby I don’t think they will do anything to him. Then again they are known to surprise us with the unexpected.
If it’s either quaxly or piplup no doubt that’s my choice, ive been water all the way
They tend to nerf the starters based on their primary elemental base. I seriously cannot see a world where Tortera is weak to both new Serperior nor Empoleon nor resist new Blaziken in any degree?? Super effective attacks as well as neutral damage taken is something that has been a recurring theme throughout time. We can dream as wild as we want but there are clearly rules the designers somewhat adhere to
I'll be honest you might be onto something here. Even the Hisui variants do not cause any issues for previous starters. I mean it is still not out there but you may genuinely have it on the head here. I suppose though only time will tell

But we (or I, at least) have deduced this possibility since Empoleon 7* Tera Raid was announced. So, not exactly new... 😅
It has to be Empoleon as the water starter, it’ll be a treat if it is, a couple others have said about the unrivalled raids which honestly those didn’t even cross my mind if I’m honest

Haha that’d be cool to be fair, as much as I’d love it I don’t think they’d do something that’s in the same generation but you never know, Kalos is right next door to Paldea
its not a bad theory, only blaziken doesn't sit right for me only cuz they already have a mega form. what i think will happen if they are gonna do some sort of theme they could do all kings or monarchs yada yada. also don't think we will get regional starter varients but will have megas. so i think based off that id say we could possibly get serperior, empoleon for options for kings just the fire starter would be tough so id say its a tie between incinaroar and cinderace. king of the ring and king of the court.
Honestly any of the three I’d be happy with, obviously my theory was based off that trailer but I’ve also seen some people who have linked to the recent 7* raids. If I’m honest any of those 3 would work quite nicely with the typing fire electric. It’s such a grey area they’ve not explored much at all. Would be nice to see Incineroar again (just on 4 legs 😅)
