Finally got my hands on the TK and K9, and got every different tail/lip there is besides the wide deep diving lips because I don't think I'll ever be brave enough to fish these on the bottom and risk a snag. I could buy the weed guards or I was thinking about possibly getting some sturdy, bendable wire and bend my own. I haven't had much time besides a few hours to try out the TK, and I didn't have any of the different lips/tails at the time, but it was definitely fun to fish out the box. Excited to try every combination out! If I don't catch anything with it for a while, at least it caught me, haha.
I'd definitely be down to fish a TK or K9 if I could get one at a decent price. I really like how you compared the different modes across the different baits and shared what has been most successful for you.
They’re not my favorite but By no means do I hate them. I think they’re great in a scenario where you’re walking the bank and just want to have one rod and one bait with you. But I have found glides that I prefer and crank downs I prefer and don’t really care to have them both in the same bait. Great bait tho, I know a ton of guys smashing fish on them. Although the paint schemes last for about 4 casts on them

Man Geoff.. I’m struggling with my K9. Tail down and no bill snaps over and doesn’t glide hardly at all. Is this normal? The crank down fished like a big Ol squarebill is killer tho
I love my k9 got mine at hook up about a year ago they had so many they have been gone awhile im in there at least twice a month cant even get lips or tails that ghost sure is big hope to see you get a big girl one day with it i fish mine pretty much same Great Video Cheers!! :))
i hate the fact that i know 100% that there are dudes that buy them just to resell them online for way more than what they are worth. also the paint jobs are not durable in the slightest
@crazybassfisher Hey man I got the tiny klash from wcz& DRT collab but what I wanted to know was how do u take the lip out I'm scared I'm gonna break it because it says u can take lip out but then feel like its glued so not sure how to remove it .
Northeast Pac-Man They are called sight markers, so when you are fishing the bait in the glide mode, on a far cast, you can see exactly where your bait is and what it is doing!
I went out fishing a few days ago,I used a swimbait I purchased from the hook up tackle,I hooked it up to a Shakespeare uglystik which I've been using,the swimbait was a evergreen international Breamslide in pre spawn colorway,the rod was not ment to fish the swimbait,after 7 casts the darn thing snapped off,I stood they in disbelief,I almost jumped in the water after it.the water was to deep.all I could do is watch it float away down the reservoir.that will teach me to use a heavier rod.
I like the bait not the durability had my k9 crack on a bomb cast and had the teeth of the lips break multiple times even when I was being gentle. In my opinion there way over priced for what they are and Drt needs to up the quality of plastic or switch to resin. But that's my opinion.
You really take the time to explain how these baits work and cut out a lot of learning curves to someone who is not familiar with them. Great job 👏

The Klash9 is super versatile. I became a believer when I got 2 nice fish within 10 mins standing in the same spot.

I personally think there so popular because of the action, the glide mode is so reactive that you get more bits

It's hook rash. The points of the hooks rub on the side of the bait while casting. It happens with any bait that has treble hooks on it.
