For the love of god please don’t ever stop making these type of videos. I know they might not get the views the other type vids get but these the ones that truly matter 🙌🏿
A really in depth video just bought my first mag draft and was wondering how to work it and what to throw it on you answered all my questions thanks for the video Randy you’re a really good teacher
Just got a couple magdrafts and BOOM another advanced angling video and that too SPECIFICALLY FOR MAGDRAFTS! You’re a mind reader Randy! Forecasting skills stronger than FFS 😂
My water is being overtaken by coontail. Your idea of using the freestyle - weedless is a great idea for me to try. It seems I would be best off using a hook with no weight. The advanced series topics are the very best thing you do. Thank you!
Thanks randy!! I bought a magdraft because of your tips i fish mostly high vegetation bodies of water but id love to try them on emigrant lake here in southern oregon
Love fishing the Magdraft for smallies on the rivers, they crush them! They are little harder to fish in the current to keep the right speed but definitely produce big fish. FYI the 6" version weighs 1.25 oz. Do you ever weight them to get them to run deeper and if so what methods are using? Nail weights? Where do you recommend putting them that will not mess up the action of the bait?
Just picked up a 6th sense hangover swimbait, it's got the hook up top the bait vs below it , I caught a couple fish on it , but could you do a video on the hangover from 6th sense with line thru treble hook it has?
Any common Bass fishing rod will work well! You don’t need a special rod for the 6” A medium rod rated for up to 1&1/2 ounce lures is good. A spinning reel would work fine but 100% fluorocarbon works best and it sucks on a spinning reel. Use 100% fluorocarbon(not coated nylon line) on a baitcasting reel. 15 pound is perfect and tie a loop knot. The light colored MagDrafts are so popular they’re usually sold out. The Daiwa Tatula XT rods are fantastic rods for $100. Godspeed🫡🫡🇺🇸🇺🇸
The 5" is called Magsol not magdraft and has a feather attached to the treble hook. They come in 5" and 7" length and are little different shape than the standard magdraft.
Are you sure this isn’t the Zaldaingerous swimbait? Rob Turkla and Chris Zaldain did a video where they answered accusations of copying baits. I’d hate to think that some company copied Zaldaingerous Swimbait….

same here!! just got my first 6" magdrafts and a couple loaded daingerous swimbaits. this will be my first year trying them! lol
Nice! Biggest thing to get used to for me was the retrieve speed. Hope we both catch biggins this pre-spawn/spawn!
Great video.
Been waiting on this

Probably because of pollution…phosphorous and other plant food getting into lakes from polluted run off water etc.
Coontail can substantially deplete oxygen levels and cause dead fish and seriously demolished fish populations!!!!
Kool video man👏👍.. The mag draft is dope Even the 6in free style mag draft is dope too 👍

My pb came off the freestyle tranx 300 hg with a Okuma guid select xh and 20 lb sunline fc sniper and a bunch of 5lbers
Excellent video Randy! FYI, the 6 inch mag draft weighs 1 1/4 oz

What size hook and weight are you using for the freestyle? I also rigged the freestyle with a line through with the treble rigged on top
I subscribed even though I think you deleted one of my message for Cursing. 😱🤣🤣.

Change to a quad hook get that extra point and another (swivel) built into the hook...No R.B. sir ?
Fished the 6” today and now I see why I got no bites it was windy sunny and muddy water.
Pre spawn on tablerock should be good.
Have you tried the TUSH on the Freestyle? I've had some good luck with it.
“TUSH”?????

Where is your link to Tackle Warehouse, and "description below"?
Hit more” and then more” again
In your video, you said medium heavy in your tackle warehouse link there is no medium heavy for throwing 6in ?

Have you caught any fish on the 10' Magdraft?
".......without a doubt, arguably......"
One thing is not like the other there, brah'
Well hopefully my 8-in will catch me a record striper
Why do they not have these swimbaits in a smaller size? 5" would be epic!!!!!
They do I have quite a few of them
Why is it so hard to get the 5 inch magdraft
They probably don’t exist? I’m not an expert on how the magdraft lure sizes work
@@Dumbo_Bat they make them
@@Dumbo_Bathave quite a few of them

LA Slider
Finally first lol
Why does mine swim on it’s side?
Try adjusting the eye the opposite direction it’s running
You can tune them by lightly bending the wire inside up close to the eye of the bait.
@@christobey4198 thank you.

Zaldain used to do youtube videos with magdraft. Later he put his name on one . Resulting in him getting the copying accusations.
