Ever since it came out I always want Rescue Ace to be good and meta. My wishes have been fulfilled
Same, set 4 from deck was going to become good eventually.
I never had any doubt. One look at turb and impulse was all it took for me to become convinced they'd be strong soon enough

@@zenbozic6184 Not necessarily. People who argue that the ocg and tcg are completely different are ignorant because decks/engines that well thete have found success in the TCG, but they have also have not.
Now if you mean the deck with the sinful engine specifically, then that is a different story.
@@zenbozic6184when r-ace were first released, they were not good enough. Both in OCG AND TCG. It's only after 3rd wave of support it's become meta relevant.

i did play in indianapolis and i will say that event was VERY diverse. all my rounds were all unique i didnt face a duplicate. i will say i did see a whole bunch of GY and shifter decks around me. also too when i was talking to other players at the event, apparently when they were tuning their decks for the event, they had people tell them to side some interesting cards but ultimately costed them. i didnt really prepare for rescue ace for he event because i didnt think people would get all the cards for it in such a short amount of time but THEY did.

I'm fine with the format as long as purrely isnt the best deck. Although it's hardly the most boring helmet deck of all time, it's up there. Would love it if the format could just be R-ACE, Tear, and Unchained, with occasional Lab popping up.

I'm pretty sure that's quantal think's spreadsheet, he was looking at it a little while ago on his plus channel, you should be able to fund it there.
I personally love the variation in the format rn, I understand it’s adds a layer of unpredictability and rng aspect with pairings, but at the end of the day it’s a card game and I feel this is something yugioh has been missing for a long time.

I'm disappointed with Konami encouraging raceism into modern yugioh, I never expect them to go this low
why would terahertz be the best variant of RAce? doesnt that line get broken by one interruption while taking up half the ed? while the jet synchron for savage+baronne protects you before you resolve the set 4. the isolde version also makes baronne to protect the backrow
I think the terahertz version won the ycs because it loses to very different things to the normal variants of rescue ace, it can still play through evenly and lightning storm, and kaijus are not that popular this format with kashtira banned and xyz encore better against purrely. Granted, I am not remotely a pro player, this is just my hypothesis based on what I've seen and I still think the synchro/isolde versions are probably better overall.
The Ed cards actually bait out a bunch it’s very fun and good vs so many decks! You should test it 👍
Yeah I think it’s either isolde or jet synchron. I sold is more reliable as one airlifter leads to baronne + sp + set four. While jet synchron needs more specific hands to work.
how do they bait things out? if reprodocus is hit you cant make link decoder and tera needs 3+ cyberse. the standard line requires you to resolve turbulence _before_ you get to tera. the line also loses to crow.@@Calebo711
NGL after watching Joshua for a few months now he's little more than a well spoken smoke seller, most his takes and predictions end up being straight up wrong and his tier 1 calls have a terrible track record. Bye bye
Rescue practically loses to a single twin twister.
Backrow boardwipes just win you the game against them, so not exactly sure how it ends up this way
They play the terahertz Disabwurm cyberse fusion to protect their backrow
Now that the Sinful Spoils package is here the deck can spit out Terrahertz or Baronne/Savage. It has answers to the big backrow blowouts.
They end on Baronne/Terahertz

Especially in this case where the original commenter obviously doesn't even watch the video.
Suggesting a -2 spell card against endboard with Spell/Trap negate.
Unironically, can we actually say Shifter is fair and that it was not the problem?
No people want to ban anything that makes them feel bad no matter if it's a problem or not.
Tell me the same thing while staring down a purrely end board while also being under shifter(people are actually doing this now).
shifter is a lingering macro you cannot interact with like any other "normal" floodgate, it is a problem, like EVERY lingering floodgate
@@awqweirdThat may be true but shifter particularly has almost zero counter play. I would rather deal with Macro instead of shifter 10/10 times. Matter fact id rather deal with Ariseheart over shifter . Atleast i can book Arise.
All lingering floodgates need to be banned asap, they're bullshit and should have never been printed
