I looked through other r-ace decks at indy and its insane he was the only one who was playing the cyberse package and 3 impulse, not too surprising he was the one who won it
The thing about the deck is that some of their own cards are "hand traps" but goes with the play style, so that you're potentially gaining advantage already.
Impulse is also really nice going second into purrely. It helps you deal with the noir while also potentially being a starter, if they attempt to shuffle it instantly.
I’d rather say « If you draw one it’s fine, if you draw two the second one gets much worse, so you’d rather see the card less often in exchange for significantly reducing your odds to see two in the same game ». Or to put it very briefly : « It’s good but it has diminishing returns when multiple are drawn »
@@MikeyTR3_NZwell its depends if you have something like diabellstar in deck u want to get off the draw one. And if you do draw diabellstar prosperity its makes the hand akward and just worst. But top decking into it or sagging it is fine almost good. If you have something that is more worth while with more pay of you can cut the prosperity to 2.
I have only played in md, which lacks 2 of the strongest cards but reinforce is the only activable card if you get duster evenly etc on an empty board, also some decks cannot out a 4500/5000 turbulence unaffected by monsters.
I remember this guy getting roasted and downplayed pretty bad by Josh and twitch chat in one of his 1st place Exosister deck profiles for the NA remote YCS. Bro was getting treated as if he just cheated a tourney win at locals with a tier 10 deck and every other insight of his during the video was being mocked by Josh. lol God it was so fucking uncomfortable to watch
He won with floodgates bud it’s not like the Exosister cards did much, I pretty much only watch the vods cause I’m in na but it was mostly chat roasting the exo player from what I saw and Josh was more surprised than anything
When your reasoning to run only two shifter because 'you want to see it, but you don't want to see it often', of course you're asking to get roasted. Strikers is a mid deck too and yet he praised the top 16 deck list a lot. He criticise the guy's explaination more than anything because the last thing you need is Exo price spiking in price over a YCS win and then people blindly buying it anw
Unfortunetly the final match wasn't good to watch, Steven misplayed and resolved two of his Rescue Ace effects wrong and the judges didn't notice it. Only the third one got their attention and i don't say his win is not deserved but it felt frustrating to notice that.
@@LS-qs9ju During the first match he resolved Rescue Ace Impulses effect not properly. He resolved it like Kashtira Fenrir would do after the effect that triggers his effect resolved, he can activate it. But with Impuls he has to resolve his effect immediatly.
We went to "Why two shifters" to "I like this deck building a lot", peak character development

He took a risk and got rewarded, I don't think his choice was right per say but it worked out.

People should call this deck as Sinful R-ACE
Sinful raecist LESSSS GOOO
Ah yes my favorite deck sinfun racist
Nah… I call is Rescue-aSS
Why not S-Ace?

Can we acknowledge his reasoning for 2 Prosperity boils down to "If you draw one it's fine, if you don't draw it it's also fine"?
I mean it was more in depth than that. But ok
Strange decision & reasoning. I feel like Prosperity it's almost always a 3 or nothing car.
Interesting 🤔

It seems more like 'drawing 0 is meh, drawing 1 is good, drawing 2 is bad.'
