    Sometimes people just don't want to learn how to get them selves out, but glad you are patient with the newbies and teaching them how to rescue themselves.

    Rav4 traction control is above the radio screen near the hazard light button. And if u hold it again for over 10 seconds it turns the stability control off

    It's funny you said something, I was thinking as I watched that lady in the passenger seat of that truck "she must not want help, she's being quite rude"
    You are not required to help, no one is, just be polite.

    I was at the Drive on beach on Sunday and a Rubicon Jl was stuck. They only air down to 25 PSI. So I whipped out my Traction Boards and they worked like a charm. After they parked down at the water line they finally aired down and was fine after that.

    I'm glad you gave that kid a soft shackle. That's super dangerous to hook a d ring up on a kinetic like that.

    In my opinion Rhino ropes is at least just as good as the higher priced ropes but a whole lot more affordable.

  • @Land_Raver
    @Land_Raver 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Get you some soft shackles or a set of small stainless d rings for the back hooks. I find it better to just pull them through with the lower control arm from the front. Saves from having to pull them multiple times.

    I have noticed on several videos that you use other vehicles and trees for anchors. But I also noticed there are times that you have to use a lot of rope to get to those trees. Why couldn't you just put it in two wheel drive and sink the back the back tires in the ground and use that as an anchor. It has worked for other people that I see. Try it out and see if that works for you.

    • @4x4rescue74
      @4x4rescue74  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My jeep is a manual and doesn’t have enough power to bury the back wheels in 2wd, plus, a hard winch job will drag it right out, usually best to anchor. I have other videos where people tried to bury their back end and it was unsuccessful

    Mannn you're super nice bro. That couple in the maroon truck were rude and kept cutting you off. I would have just left them. I like helping people too but if I'm working for free they better be cordial and let me speak.

    I don't mean to be rude, but why buy a Jeep? I watch many recovery channels and most vehicles recovered are Jeeps.

    • @4x4rescue74
      @4x4rescue74  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jeeps are the best off-road vehicle. I’ve rarely recover wranglers compared to most other vehicles. All depends on the driver tho, most new 4x4 owners think they’re unstoppable

    • @Land_Raver
      @Land_Raver 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I pull a lot of jeeps out but a lot of jeeps go to the beach. Doesnt mean they are not the right tool for the job. The best vehicle for the beach IMO is a straight axle, permanent 4wd, SUV, 33s or larger tire, with locking axles front and rear. Hard to beat that combo.
