This video came up when I searched for driving on St Augustine Beach! I then fell into the rabbit hole of your videos and spent 3 hours watching them casted to my TV! I am moving to this area 5/2025, and have a F150 Tremor, and your videos inspired me to want to outfit it to also help stuck people on the beach! Would definitely love to catch up with you when I move there!! -Jarrod
It's hard to believe how many people get stuck in the sand. Some new cars are like they have their own mind with the damn traction control. Good video Wes!
Yea, your too nice lol. Those a1 guys are vultures. Preying on people out having fun. What other beach do you see tows running up n down all day. None, because sand people help each other. If they got a specific call, I get that. But they watch and wait like scavengers. Jmo!!!👍👍👍✌️
its amazing how many ppl get stuck on the beach, but then again alot of ppl cant handle driving on dry pavement let alone on dry sand. keep up the tugging enjoyable to watch
Just picked up my first Gladiator a week ago and 12 hours later I had it out at Crescent Beach. Buddy of mine told me about your channel and you definitely got a new sub! Love what you’re doing 🤙🏻
OMG dude you are a trooper. After going to Texas and then jumping right into St Augustine you have to be exhausted. I’m in Tampa and can’t imagine making another stop on the way back. His bless you man!
Love the back to back videos! Thanks for sharing, there is a lot more than just a 4x4 to get across that soft sand. Wheel speed, air pressure and no traction control
I am planning going to OBX, NC for beach driving with you video I have learned a lot not to get stuck. Traction control off, set transmission to sand mode, deflate tires to half tire pressure, extra can of gas. 👍
Tha capability of your Gladiator doesn’t cease to amaze me. It’s well-built and perfectly suited for these tasks. Also, your RC Gladiator pushing the guy’s beach cart had me laughing, haha.
Just found your channel and live in St Augustine with a gladiator. Just replaced tires and looking to get new bumpers with winches to help out. Could you do a video of the best tow points on different type of vehicles?
Moved to Jax last summer and I have been to this exact spot many times in my Black Widow F150. No way I am taking my wife's xDrive X5 onto that beach. I have however seen that stretch of beach smooth and compact like a parking lot after some big storms and tidal surge but that only lasted about a day. Where are the guys at the gate checking for 4WD? They have always been there when I was driving on.
@@4x4rescue74 I'll plan to be there next year on a weekend. Should be fun, I just hope, being an out of stater that I don't have to pay multiple entrance fees.
south of Ormond beach any car can drive on the packed sand but folks probably get cocky and think the 4x4 only warning doesn’t apply to them because they have AWD.
Loved the video being a woman learned many things about driving in the sand. Never knew to deflate tires. Also was excited about the new tire inflator being made by rhino will definitely check it out when it comes available. Hope to see you around palm harbor area one day.
I spend a lot of time on the Beach in St. Augustine and it amazes me what people try!. Question, I need to replace my BFG’s what Tires are you running? Thanks~
This is just a common factor with this sand or basically all off roading of sorts lack of thought control use of common sense but like you my friend we smile sort of chuckel under breath and say how can I help or I can get you out . To confirm traction control is not a fix all it has has its designated uses and if you read preferred uses you will find that 4wd or and isn't one of them and you my friend are very nice in letting people know this. And as have said I the past your videos are very educational in learning the do's and dont's in all kinds of these situations and that's cool. People can watch these videos and learn and possibly save them self some stress and your so nice to people and that's so cool cause people are already in a mental stressful situation and embarrassed and you smile and try to make it fun and make people smile in the process. This is the only way to be we smile and turn a stressful situation into a better one. This content is so fun love it. Keep on keeping on my friend see you on the next one. Look forward to the jeep beach videos. And just saying that wagon would have never made it without the push from the rc power push awesome.
Id sit back and laugh oh I. mean watch till they gave up them help them and show them all the things they can do next time. 1st thing would be to leave your 2 wheel drive cars in the parking lot. Have a good one brother. Love your videos
Just subbed to the channel. we used to go down to Padre Island National Sea shore here in texas a few times a year. That's another place where you better be prepared. There isnt as much assistance available down there, and you can be on your own 50 plus miles down a beach. And there is only 1 way out, and the return trip is all the way back the way you came in. I think its 60 miles down if you go all the way to the end. We like to Land Based Shark fish (LBSF), so its nice that its that long. We can get away from the masses of people that tend to stay on the first 5 miles of beach. Hoping to get in on the giveaways, that gear is always useful and its good to be prepared. My next purchase is going to be a set of Max Trax boards.
I could watch these all day. I especially like the ones from Florida since I live here too. I did notice you may had an assistant for this video 👍🏽🧐. Also do you have any idea what A1 etc charge to do what you do for free?
Hey Wes, I see you are running the Baja Boss M/T and was wondering how many road miles you accumulated on these tires. I'm considering purchasing these but am unsure about tread wear on a M/T on your travels from Florida to Texas.
These people with these cars sure don't know how to drive on the beach. Back in the day I took my 70 Cutlass all the way to the jetty's and back and all over crescent Beach all the way to matanza bridge.
I have same air compressor; get some GONESON Tire Inflator Nozzle with Clip, Air Chuck Quick Connect for Tire Inflation, Tire Air Chuck with 8V1 Standard Thread,(Pack of 4pcs) for air deflators and a single one for airing up. It saves a few seconds screwing it on.
In daytona check before u buy on line old hotels symphony is straight but it's all online no desk they send u your info at 3 or u might to fight like me to get your numbers but it's awsome but a photon bed wasn't good
I am a man from the Arabian desert. I have a piece of advice. You can drive in the sand even in a Camry. Just make the tires inflated from 8 to 10.

The guy in the first car scooting forward while driving the stuck vehicle like it would help cracked me up!

That made me nervous seeing that chain on that tow ball.
I love watching the recoveries cuz I love success stories

@@4x4rescue74what tires you running?
That RC truck is sick I need one!!!!!!
Another great video, awesome tip on the compressor motor. I am wanting a four way hose, I can't wait to see what Rhino comes out with.
Cones as traction boards! 😮 Was funny!
Thanks for the info on airing down the tires. I was just thinking no my about that the other day. Good stuff!!!!
Was there Saturday and saw 8 vehicles stuck, no one airs down and most were awd
Traction Control No Bueno !
Nice recovery train.

Then daytona cool videos can't wait for the next one every weekend keep them coming 😊
Nice work Wes! I was disappointed when I went there on a weekday. None of the locals were stuck.
Has to be no rain all week and a hot Saturday for people to get stuck.

Can't figure out why people try to take small cars out on the sand. Great video.
south of Ormond beach any car can drive on the packed sand but folks probably get cocky and think the 4x4 only warning doesn’t apply to them because they have AWD.
these beach goers are lucky !

I get out to the causeway once a month or so 👍
Awesome I will try to get out to see you. Thanks
I so need to get my truck to a beach!! That looks like so much fun!!!
You should!
Love these beach recoveries. I just got your axle straps!
Awesome!
Lucky someone didn't get hurt with the chain and tow ball guy....
Definitely, they we’re struggling to find a spot to hook it up, wasn’t sure where they ended up connecting
@@4x4rescue74 Still crazy tho...
Damn my dude had to pull them both out at same time awesome 👌

Man what fun times. I never understand why people still hook chains or any recovery gear on a tow ball.
Love watching your videos keep up the good work
Glad you like them!
Sand and non drivers what a combo 🤣
My NAPA twin air compressor airs up my 35’s from 15psi to 25psi in about 20-25 seconds. It’s a beast. I even run a small airsaw off it.
Hell yea dude. LOVE IT
Thanks!
man, I live in the center of Florida and have yet to drive on the beach.... nice video as always

You need a rhino wrapped drone to scout recoveries and get some good footage of your rig pulling people out
Keep making the videos buddy love them
Thanks, will do!
Nice RC Jeep
Very cool. What a strange thing that X drive pulsing huh?
These newer cars can be a hassle to figure out traction control. They all have their own little options.
What's your tire brand choice for beach and soft dirt
Brandon Florida checking in. How do I win the box?
Pick me for the recovery equipment giveaway!! I need it for my heavy pig of a tahoe!!
Good video Brother..👍👍
Surprised they still let cars on the beach

Where do you get your sunglasses at?
I wouldn't be within 100 yds of that chain/towball mess, nope nope

Nice man, I was out at PINS the day before this video. Might be back out there in a month or so
How much air do you have in those tires lol
Saw the crack in your windshield. Did you fix it? I have 3 and fixed them right away and still on 1st windshield after 5 years.
Going on my 3rd windshield in a year. The one in this video is only two months old..lol
@@4x4rescue74 lol !! Do you have wind deflector on hood? Maybe this is why still on 1st windshield after 5 years!
Guess their dad's didn't teach them how to drive on the beach our dad's taught us to air down.
Soooo many people need to learn from you, turn off that traction control.
Fun stuff!
seems like they may need to required 4wd on that beach? or are we just seeing the soft spots?
Really depends on the day, hit or miss at times

Think they charge $200 for a tow
Hey Wes, I see you are running the Baja Boss M/T and was wondering how many road miles you accumulated on these tires. I'm considering purchasing these but am unsure about tread wear on a M/T on your travels from Florida to Texas.
I’ve made that trip and other a few times now. No noticeable wear, I do rotate them every 3-5000 miles. On my third rotation now

No, it’s an axial sc10 with a wrap

Not enough ground clearance in most
