I just installed these on my HDJ81 (Diesel). Very impressed with the sturdiness and strength of the sliders. Install was fairly straightforward except for the passenger side. That brake line move was a PITA due to the small space next to the fuel tank and getting the new bolt, lock washer and spacer lined up and tightened down. Great product.
Dude I didn’t have any issues at all with mine. I would say to make sure all the other bolts are lose enough to be able to shift that bolt aligned. Hope you get it.

I got the flat ones for my 05 Xterra as sliders and to help my kids climb in and out. I picked them up from their shop and they’re super nice people.

How were you able to start the spacer bolt on the rear diver side? I can’t seem to fit the bolt with the spacer. Seems nearly impossible lol. Thanks

FYI - 200 Series has a very different install process than this. No U-Brackets.
I'm curious why did you go with the 10 degrees vs 20? I'm about to order these and can't decide on this.
For me I step on the sides a lot, accessing the roof and riding on the sides to get video. The 20 is a bit to steep for my taste.
