Installed Sliders on my 2018 Power wagon today. First comment....look great, solid engineering, and totally worth it. Second comment....white knuckles is what you will get during the install. The driver's side is nothing but a serious challenge. Total time on install (including factory step pull off) was 6+ hours. And yes, I have experience turning a wrench. Read the directions and follow them to the letter - no, you do not know more about installing them than the makers do. Last word....hard work getting them on, solid hunks of metal, can't wait to try them out.
Will get them for my new RAM Rebel. I need some steps to get in the Truck and most people told me to get Rock Sliders because they're more solid. Thanks for the Video :)
I’ve got white knuckle sliders on my ram 2500 mega-cab, and a custom set on my FJ81 (JDM Toyota land cruiser with a Diesel engine) and i love them both.
Like the sliders. I wish they offered something else besides diamond plate on the steps, dimple or whatever. Can't believe you had to unbolt ammo box for install.
I’m surprised you didn’t give yourself a concussion with your taco slider kiss. That’s Interesting that they hold from the top and bottom but not through the frame will be cool to see how they hold up to our DN shenanigans.
Dam bro that shit looked like it hurt like hell ...same happened to me wit my bumper ,hit.me in the face...to bad i didn't catch it on cam ....those are badass sliders I wonder if they make them for 🌮
Like the video, but you should have thread the bolt through the side step and into the framel, bracket last nut. If the nut comes loose and vibrates loose the bolt will hold the step in place.
That edit with the taco sliders was funny, gonna order me some WKOR sliders for my tundra with full plating and pick them up locally hopefully meet you guys out on the trail someday
Thanks for the great video! Was wondering with the weight of these sliders does it affect your payload capacity at all or does it not matter since it’s directly on the frame?
Shooooooot I didn’t even think about that but I think white knuckle could answer it for sure. I mostly bought this truck to go crawling/ cross county/ and now I’m running the truck. Towing wasn’t important to me nor using the bed for super heavy loads. I’m looking at a mega cab for all that next.

Damn I installed on my 2020 Ram diesel and I still get a squeak on the passenger side. What a PITA.

I’ve got white knuckles on my taco, they’re a serious slider!.

That's a great question. I don't see why it wouldn't.

Yes it would lower the payload because it increases the curb weight of the truck.
8 weeks to go....mega impatient.....
