Though he didn't have any words, the droid spoke to all of us and made for one of the most unique Pixar experiences ever! And it figures that to make such a masterpiece, there had to be a lot of juicy, interesting facts surrounding it's production! I just realized, wall-e may be the first move that gets deep into extraterrestrial travel, without once mentioning aliens.
There is a few films like that. A notable one is Silent Running, about a guy saving the last earth plants from corporate greed.

A lot of people want/don't want a wall-e sequel. Personally, I would love to see a prequel instead. The prequel could answer a lot of questions, like why is wall-e the last one of his kind or how earth slowly became more and more uninhabitable.
The truth has been spoken
The only theory I have why he is the last one is basically that he was the only one perhaps who knows or knew rather, to repair himself and exchange broken modules, hardware, software and so on. I believe that the others who couldn't do that simply "worked themselves to death " or something

I think he might not be the last. Maybe the last in the state he is in or even in north America, but not the last in the world. Maybe another one is in function anywhere else.
There’s a wall-e game out there for the Wii & ps3 (or psp). The psp version has a tutorial for preparing to work as he just got “hired” & after the tutorial which is basically the prologue, a sandstorm appears. The wall-e you played as had a tiny personality & was trying to escape & succeeded. Before the sandstorm, there’s an in-game cutscene of the axiom departing. Back to where we were, the sandstorm appears & a mechanical voice says to seek shelter. (like the truck) The wall-e runs as fast as he can until he sees a ramp that makes closer to the shelter truck. After jumping on the ramp, he gets stuck in a car but thankfully, he gets out & makes it to the truck. An army of wall-e’s appear behind the one you played as. The one you played as gets into the truck, as well as a few other wall-e’s but the others get consumed by the sandstorm... the cutscene ends with sandstorm covering the screen with the truck left open. *700 years later*, another cutscene plays with the wall-e you played as appearing rusted, just like the wall-e in the the *movie*. In the next scene, he walks out of the truck, seeing a few destroyed parts & corpses of his robotic friends left & right. I know you want a prequel but the game does that, consider it canon or not because the story is slightly different.

Wow, I can't believe how much stuff they go through and how much research they do to make these animated films. For Finding Nemo, they got their scuba certifications so they could explore the reef to see how they should animate it, it's crazy but in glad they do because it does make a difference. I just really appreciate that they make sure they do their research before working on a film. It's incredible. They did the water and fish so good they actually had to tone it down for fear that it looked too real for an animated film, just incredible. And if you look up the original animation for Finding Nemo, you can see just how good the animation is and it does look incredibly realistic.

2:36 It's really kinda weird how they say that the humans on the ship evolved the way they did because of microgravity but they had magical artificial gravity on the ship all along...

There was a deleted scene when eve was the one damage and Wall-e had to fix her,
SPOILERS
This is what happened
Wall-e was exploring the air lock for a while,
Eve started calling his name, Wall-e tried find her but a wall-a "cubed" the surrounding of eve
Wall-e trys to make the wall-a let eve out but they thought he was helping instead.
They patted him on the head.
He was able to get eve out of the cube but the door was almost close to closing
Mo got " stuck in the door" Wall-e introduced himself to mo. Same with mo
Then Wall-e tried to fix eve while mo was cleaning Wall-e's " Shoes"
Then for a while eve tried to hold Wall-e's hand then Wall-e placed a lighter on eve then she was alright
Then they leave the airlock

Kinda ironic that the Pixar staff thought the cockroach was gross even though their second film was a bug's life also Blade Runner was released in 1982 not the 70s

The name of the nuclear plant was Chernobyl the town's name where the plant was Pripyat.
I learned about this in a film class, and this was my favorite out of all of the other films.
I Love wall-e Very much. It's my Favourite Pixar Movie, and second Favourite is Inside Out. It Has one of the most unique stories and animation that's still relevant till this day.
