- Pirates reliever Aroldis Chapman is tossed from the game for arguing with plate umpire Edwin Moscoso after allowing a two-run double to Harrison Bader. The New York Mets went on the take down the Pittsburgh Pirates, 6-3.

I didn’t really like him when he was a yankee but he definitely throws a lot of strikes called balls. It wouldn’t surprise me if the ump screwed him. Especially umps these days

I'm a Mets fan and I can tell you he had every right to be pissed. The Umpire missed at least 5 calls.
I'm a Mets fan and glad they won but Chapman made some very good pitches that could've been called strikes for sure. I was impressed by his outing and would've been pissed off if I was him.

The Korean League uses robot balls and strikes call. It's funny when a batter disagrees with the pitch and goes to turn to the umpire to complain, then realizes it's not his call. Batter gets confused look on his face like "who do I complain to." Plus they have the video replay, so there's really no arguments there any more.

What's wild here is that Chapman got a generous make-up call from the HP umpire in the same at-bat which he was so pissed off about. Alvarez had a 2-2 count and took a pitch at the bottom-middle of the strike zone that should haven been called strike 3 but the HP up called it low. Two pitches later in a 3-2 count, Chapman throws a similar pitch ~2 inches lower that the HP ump called strike 3.
The AB that Chapman was so pissed off about ended with the umpire tactility admitting that he fucked up and gave Chapman a strikeout that should have been a walk. Chapman has no one to blame but himself for giving up 3 runs in that inning and getting tossed.
This ejection is a no brainer. You cannot leave your position to argue balls and strikes.

So many haters here, Anyone who knows baseball knows that Chapman is one of the best pitchers of all time in the MLB major leagues. What happens is that when you are so good they give you many opportunities and you run the risk of failing sometimes and that is the only thing the haters remember.
