Just picked one of these up. Not ideal for a home back up unit even for a single in an apartment, but it would certainly help in an emergency. Best for a portable power supply outside your living quarters, which I also have a need for (work, occasional camping). Might work for an RV/van lifestyle if you are a low power user. Solid Black Friday deals though, so it's a good time to buy. I read they will work for a CPAP, so I may be gifting this to my parents. Would rather it be used for that than my needs. I can survive on what I have. I probably need a Delta unit anyways.
im using the ecoflow river 2 pro as a UPS along with the APC battery backup for my desktop computer, tbh, im able to get 7 to maybe 8 hours from off-grid! if the power would to ever go off, and, most likely i will be getting the delta 2 max, or one on wheels it'll give me a runtime of 1 and a half days if not more! depends on how i use the computer though!
They are great for it. That's exactly what I use mine for. But keep in mine with the eco flow brand the 12v dc port is only 10 amps and diesel heaters usually use 15 amps to get started. So if you go with eco flow make sure to pick up one of these and run it off the ac port amzn.to/3vY0vmO It's rated at 15amps and runs my diesel heater 👍

If you pre cooled the fridge and had the fridge full of contents, it would have lasted longer
