No, it's a camera that doesn't take pictures unless the vehicle is going more than 10 over, which means he was going 12 over. If it was a traffic stop, the officer would have to be here.
From what it sounds like he went 37 in a 25

Judge Capri said "It is 2 over what we charge". The "what we charge" part is important because that tells us that if a motorist is over the speed limit only a small bit then the judge will dismiss it depending on what they deem to be fair. From what Judge Caprio said I understand that the motorist was 2 over that threshold again.

That's how I want to end up. This 90 year old is kind of a role model, even though I don't know him I want his humor at that age. Or rather that age in all.
Different generation
My dad was still driving at 90 years old and frequently went over the speed limit and did too much lane changing. I told him I wouldn't mind him still driving if he would drive like a 90 year old man instead of a teenager. If we had to go somewhere together, I drove because he scared me. This gentleman seemed like a very wise person, except for this one incident, and he seemed to indicate that he wasn't driving all that fast then.
If you like to see some sweet senior citizens go check jim Foreman's channel he will show you how to cook certain stuff and to make do with what you have and also he does review of some food items and he also loves to us viewers about his childhood and his time in the service and his sweet wife freda and his love for planes and such he is such a sweet man who takes care of his wife for along time and she is such a sweet wife..

My Dad got a ticket in Denver, involved a fender bender so he had to go to court. I think he was about 81 at the time. He was a great driver, not the old guy who went 30 in the left lane during rush hour. Dad was afraid they would "take" his license. The judge gave 5 minute monologue to the gallery telling all there they should be ashamed that an 80 something YO man would be here for his FIRST traffic offense.

it was likely a traffic camera at a light that caught him speeding, cops usually dont pull over for that

Thankfully in kansas it illegal for a cop to give a ticket if they are only going 5 mph over

Even the student put on a tie, out of respect for the court.. love that about the USA! We don't have anything like that here in Germany... there's also no appreciation for people who work in the fire brigade, the police or the military... that's so sad. In the USA, there where whole street-parades that are only made when an K-9-Dog retires... I think that's so cool, that's a form of respect that's absolutely superhuman, just awesome!
