IMPORTANT! Some mistakes I made: Leech Seed deals double damage to water types. I meant to say Salt Cure. Another mistake I made was that paradox pokemons CAN BE FUSIONS! (i had just never seen one). I had multiple people report to me that the mini-black hole does not steal vitamins for them (could have been a bug in my run). Vitamins CAN NOT be stolen with the Mini-Black hole. This must have been a bug I encountered in my own run. Another thing I would like to clarify is that there are 13 steel types in the game that can learn metal burst, not all steel types can learn the move and aiming to be way higher level than your opponent with your steel burst pokémon is quality of life but not absolutely necessary. Stat changes also DO NOT affect metal burst, you deal more damage with each hit as you chip away at the boss bars (see it as removing their ''shield''). Wonder Guard can also be fantastic and it is utilized in the world record endless runs. One last tip: For rerolling: not having a damaged Mon removes healing items from the pool, increasing your odds of getting something useful! Good luck on your PokeRogue adventures! If this video was useful to you please consider subscribing, liking and commenting on the video. Sharing it to a friend also goes a long way. Thanks again!
1 edit if lucky smeargle can also learn salt cure as an egg move i have smeargle with salt cure and is shiny making him easy pick and later fusing with something good there might be others like smeargle since even wiglett can learn surging strike, like how does he hit man thats illegal
I think vitamins don’t actually count as held items, that’s why mini black hole doesn’t effect them and I don’t think theif or transfer work and so on. The game just shows them as items so you can keep track of the amount of each on a pokemon, because there is a cap
Most dudes squeeze 4-5 minutes videos to 30 minutes long. This dude squeeze in the most he could for a 30 minutes video, DEFINITELY DESERVE A SUB Y'ALL
Zigzagoon gets both Pick Up as an ability and Run Away as a passive, making it basically mandatory. Its also really easy to get the passive and cost down due to how many you can catch early on in your runs
With your recommendation for a carry in mind, I believe it’s important to note that Aggron could be very good as a starter. It gets Metal Burst and Protect as level up moves, and Salt Cure as an egg move and Sturdy as an ability. It’s pretty much your recommended carry rolled into one, with the only downside being lower base HP resulting in weaker Metal Bursts.
Spot on! You are absolutely correct. There is simply too much information that its really difficult to cover it all. Expect an update to the guide once the game is older, and I will make a new guide when they overhaul endless mode to point out all the things that are no longer relevant in this guide video. Thank you for your feedback!
Quote from pokerogue wiki "Maximum 4 instances, Wild Shiny odds are 1/2048 (0.048%) by default. First Shiny Charm increases the odds by a factor of 8 to 1/256 (0.39%), additional Shiny Charms increase the odds by a factor of 2 (1/128, 1/64, 1/32). "
Oh I see they have changed the wiki then. It said a factor of 4 first ~_~. Thanks for reporting I just checked it on the wiki. Honestly thats kinda lame having shinies be THIS common.
@@Knetterkoekje They changed it after the event but nobody said anything about it. I think as we encounter more and more dupes, we'll be happy for these.
Thanks to this video i now have an endless run with a *literally* immortal overcoat sturdy flying type shedinja 1 floor away from the token game crash waiting for the patch that fixes the crash to progress. Also in case it wasn't clear shedinja is immortal because sturdy and 1hp blocks all damage except struggle, hazards, weather and status effects, overcoat blocks weather, flying type blocks hazards, stacking lum and leppa berries and berry pouches + a move like recycle makes you eventually immune to status effects and never run out of PP, the only theoretically possible way to die now is a G-Max hazard move which are not available to any enemies in this game so yes my shedinja is literally actually 100% immortal unless the update significantly changes how a lot of this stuff functions. If you wanna do this yourself shedinja with overcoat passive + sturdy skarmory PS: anyone reading this should know this is a very fun strategy but its not practical at all you are far better off just listening to the video more closely rather than intentionally using an awful pokemon as your carry in hopes of stumbling upon an extremely rare item very early in the run just to get a broken combo, if you do manage to get it you have basically just won but your time would be better served just playing normally
This is some amazing tech. Do you happen to know if you get the passive on a mon if you unlock it and then catch it in the wild :o? I am planning on making a part two for the Endless Guide with all the new information and things I've learned. I did not consider overcoat as a passive, thats really smart! Could you provide us with some footage of your mon in action?
Currently going through my first endless run with a just generic Kartana as my carry (currently floor 1030). But your tips has helped me almost build a pivot carry in a shiny garganacl + archaludon which I both found during the run. Hope I can build it before things goes too much worse. Also for anyone who want an easy time through the early game (from my experience), Kartana can just do it basically by itself all the way to the first eternatus where if you have a fairy type, you can just keep switching back and forth to drain all the eterna beam PP which is what I did. You dont need setup moves or anything for Kartana to work, just attacking moves. Mine is just running Sacred sword, Leaf blade, Aerial Ace and Razor leaf but razor leaf can we swapped for the dark type blade depending on where you are in the run. I dont even have its passive or any egg moves for it.
Kartana is incredible, so yeah good pick on taking that as your first carry ^_^. Thanks and I am happy to hear about your success. Much luck and fun for the next time you play PokeRogue :)
Great guide! I would also super recommend a mom with honey gather early game as it’s a consistent money source that scales up with each floor. Also, IV scanner saves time for me because catching Pokémon takes forever
Glad you liked it! Honey gather is kinda nice for the early game, same with make it rain and payday. How can catching pokémon take forever if you have an unlimited supply of master balls :o?
My carry for ny first classic run win was my duo of fuecoco and a terrakion. They blitzed through early game and by the end my team was. Skeledirge,Terrakion/Excadrill/Jumpluff/Vikavolt/Florges. I got lucky with eternatus throwing a bit but it was a hell of a fight. This guy is really helpful for me as I'm about to start endless
Sure but that means you're already at the point where it doesnt do anything for your team. However it is an idea to pick up 5 later on to thin the item pool further. Good thinking :)
30:20 You don't need an innate flinch chance, as it does not stack with King's Rock. A multi target or even a multi hit move will serve you much better.
maushold base (population bomb), splice with mon with skill link ability, get max multi lens and king's rock 40 attacks that have a decent chance to flinch
You mean as your initial carry? It would work but its nowhere near as good as some other carries especially for how much it costs to take on your team. If you want some inspiration for carries feel free to watch my carry guide: th-cam.com/video/V1197iiyZ1w/w-d-xo.html
I think it is covered somewhere. But Latios is fused with Sinistcha to give it the spread move matcha gatcha :) pretty much any special attack spread move is awesome on Latios ^_^
Well i might have made a slight error. I did not max out the medicines like calciums on my two current carries. Still made it to floor 2000 though. But i am almost tempted to start over again if it wasnt for all the master balls i have
Just try to see how far you can go, you should be in the perfect spot to hunt a ton of pokemon and shinies now. Good luck and have fun! :) Hope your next run goes even better!
Im currently at wave 800 and slowly struggling due to my main carry being unleveled 1375 while the max lvl at that point is 1600. I just figured out that exp balancer is the issue, bout to redo the run
@@Knetterkoekje im currently using shadow rider calyrex as the carry and he's pretty busted as one is fr broken prevents the opponent to use berry and grants +1spatk on kill and she also has Astral Barrage which hits 2 Pokemons in double battle
Tried out endless for the first time today with a klefki as my carry and 5 shinies as my other Pokémon but I lost at floor 150 because of a stupid crit
For endless it is recommended to put on retries and simply reset and change the RNG when you crumble and die. If you don't like playing with that, I wish you the best of luck its going to be a tough ride in endless mode.
It is possible that this only worked in an older version of the game, however I have first hand experience of this (could have also been a bug on my part). Sorry if its not working for you. Thanks for pointing that out! Its also possible the RNG was not in your favour hehe.
I tested it in my run just now and I couldn't get it to work. I waited 7 turns against a pokemon that had 1 vitamin and 2 sitrus berries. I couldn't steal the sitrus because I was already maxxed out, but I never stole the vitamin either. I also stalled ~30+ turns against eternatus to steal all of his held items and I never got a vitamin from him even after grabbing everything else my pokemon could carry. Maybe the game just kept trying to steal berries I couldn't hold, but it seems black hole no longer steals vitamins
@@Kurisock01 yah no it doesn’t, I lucked out on my endless run with my first mini black hole in wave 2 and the entire time not once did it take the vitamin, I’ve been playing since early April too
@@Kurisock01 Thanks a lot of pointing that out and for your effot! I will make another bug report about that. However they still have yet to respond to my initial two XD..
At the start of the game I’ve got lucky and got a legendary egg Ho-Oh came out of it and it’s so bad, it learns like 5 fire type moves and many of them only have 5 pp. Also it learns them like the first level 45 and so on and after two failed runs in classic I haven’t used it. Should I use it for endless or should I just take good mons that aren’t legendary?
I think Zacian + togedemaru is the best fusion I’ve seen. It keeps attack and speed relatively high, is still fairy steel, gains fell stinger, and unnerve/sturdy, basically i think sturdy > beast boost
Miraidon is a beas too and its actually less cheesy and can get you everywhere aswell. Its ability creates a Electric Field which boosts your sp ang combine this with its passive quark drive and a modest nature and you get a shit ton of Sp ang combine this even further with soul dews and vitamins and this mon is a nuclear powerhouse. to take this even further the move : Rising Voltage (base power 70) gets its power doubled if an electric field is present to 140 combine this with electric fields effect of boosting electric type moves by 50% you get an Electric type move with a Power of 210 and 100 accruacy and to top it off you can stack magnets that each time boosts your power by 20%. You can imagine how it goes everything that isnt a ground type even if its 4x times not effective gets one shot. If you get multi hit lens you can even bypass sturdy. Miraidon also gets Discharge which takes care of pesky double battles. Literally oneshot max eternatus with rising voltage.
Oh yeah its a very good pokémon! Ironically I just got a Miraidon from one of my legendary eggs, while I bought a big batch of legendary up eggs while Miraidon was the daily legendary.. Save to say I feel scammed haha.
one thing i think couldve been mentioned is that rockslide is really good for flinching in double battles. with wide lenses it just doesn't miss. also, i find double battles really awkward with sturdyburst strategy.
Yeah there is still a lot of things missing, its simply too much info so I picked what I deemed most important. But I agree. I wish I could spend more time on this video, however I had to post it sooner than later. Nobody knows how much of it will be relevant when they overhaul endless. Thanks for the feedback tho!
Do you by any chance know if the percentage on king rocks is additive or separate? If I have 3 king rocks on my carry with 3 multi-lenses, using the move zen-headbutt 4 times, it’s a difference in calculation of 0,7^4 * 0,8^4 (counter probability assuming king rock is additive hitting 4 times and not flinching multiplied by the counter probability of zen-headbutt hitting 4 times and not flinching) (roughly 10% of not flinching) and 0,9^3^4 * 0,8^4 (Counter Probability of each 10% instance of a separate king rock not flinching, while hitting 4 times because of 3 multi-lenses * counter Probability of zen-headbutt hitting 4 times and not flinching) (roughly 11,5% of not flinching). Whether king rock is additive or not also matters more when using a move that does not have an innate flinch chance - in that case the difference is not only roughly 1,5%, but 4-5% between 71% vs. 76%.
I'm confused about the great ball tier and its interaction with the tera orb. Does taking the tera orb effect which items appear in the great ball tier?
Yes taking the Terra Orb allows you to get Terra shards which are great ball tier (and there are a lot of them, so it messes up the item pool). Hope this clarifies it for you :)
@@Knetterkoekje ok, yes that does make more sense, thanks. I don't know why I was trying to process that as "once you take the Tera orb, the stat boosting items will not appear anymore" despite that having never been said.
I have almost reached floor 100 but i feel my team needs a serious upgrade but i dont really know what mons would he good to pick. I now have miraidon, mamoswine, flamigo, a freshly fused mega primaroir (so with mega gardevoir) and then a linoone for the items and a filler shiny omastar i caught. What would be your suggestion?
Miraidon should be an amazing carry :) combine it with the strategy in this video and you should be golden ^_^ Good luck and have fun with your next endless run!
roaring moon is such a pain... especially with the passiv he one shots everything even when im 1k lv higher. the token are so broken. everytime enemy touches me its a freeze. so stupid. and now the poke can just hold 2 berries that heal status 😢
@@Knetterkoekje yeah i saw it today. it was so crazy like u dont have berries ur ruined. and now with just 2 berries allowed... the bosses are easier as well. before i played primal kyorge that couldnt kill bosses even effective hitting. always needed to calm mind. and now all are 1 shot even resisted. the enemy berries and heal over all is so crazy. just possible to catch anything with master ball 😢 i wished for a fusion with unnerve
About pickup : if you have all berries maxed out to 10, and you only transfer the useful berries, then the pickup pokemon should always get you even more useful berries and not the others, right?
I just started pokerogue since 2 weeks ago beated classic 5x and started a endless with: 1x pick up 1x honey gather 1x carry 2x shiny support 1x shiny garbage pokemon (just for luck)
I’ve been using Dragapult as my carry so far, it’s a little annoying since I have to wait till level 60 but Dragon Darts Multi Lens Kings Rock is not fair. It’s a shame Parental Bond is not implemented (I use Roaring Moon first)
You are far from blind, they are healing back to HP. Its 3x Berry Pouch (75% chance to not consume a berry) + Mini black hole + Max Grip Claw that constantly steals berries if I do use one up that make for a (near) infinite amount of berries to be consumed :D
I need some advice- I got to wave 1000 and get demolished. I have a mega mawhile with 6,500 attack so it should be 13,000 attack with Huge Power. I’m able to set up a shell smash and baton pass from my cloyster to mawhile, yet a play rough barely does any damage. Blackhole ends up stealing my leftovers and I get in a stalemate because the amount of damage is completely negated. All I can think of is next time transferring my leftovers to a pokemon I won’t use before the battle. Thoughts? Also, am I missing some mechanic? Because my mawhile should have 26,000 attack after shell smash, and I can only tickle eternatus.
The pokemons can also have stacked up berries, max vitamins and all sorts of stackable items on top of the tokens, which make for some really tough opponents. At wave 1000 any well invested carry should work tho, so try to focus more on making your main mon strong in the next run :)
Thank you, this is really helpful ^^ I started my second endless run yesterday and got really lucky, got a dna splicers on floor 4 so I fused my kartana with my tinkaton. Since Ethernatus doesn't have flamethrower yet, the steel/fairy typing is amazing and with beast boost I one shot almost everything. However I forgot to bring a run away mon and some useful moves you mentioned. In my next run I will be much more prepared thanks to you!
I am glad I could help and I am pretty sure you can find a runaway mon in your current run that really should not be too difficult ^_^ good luck have fun!
I wish I had some good advice for you, but I'm not familiar with Mimikyu other than find it a very cool mon. Honestly everything can work as an early carry, so try it out! :)
I don't if it happens it happens and you have to deal with it or restart if you can't deal with it :( but yeah you can switch your healing item to a mon that youll use last in the eta fight for example.
Hey man amazing video tahks to thos guide im already on stage 770 with my reshiram carry and with the 2 pickup pokemon i got all items i need, got like 27 silk scarfs and can onehit nearly all enemies, looking forward to continue the run, keep up the good work man
Good question! not sure if this is the case for all of these pokemons. But for all G-max forms you do need to mega bracelet I can tell you that much :P
@@Knetterkoekje what’s the best way to farm shinies when you’re kinda new still? I’ve beaten classic twice, I have a few shinies but nothing strong and they’re all the yellow ones. Keep farming classic or go endless?
Im using an epic shiny Azelf fused with Garganacl for the metal brust strategy (and i got metal burst from a steel wormadam) And is working so well..just got past wave 3000 Only thing now is that with the nerf on numbers of berries held you have to check here and there is you have enough sitrus/lum/enigma berry , especially before facing the paradox/eternatus, you want to be ready And also I caught a shiny ribombee with honey gather on wave 2300+ and damn....lot of money from that so that i dont have to worry about picking relic gold anymore
Glad to hear its going so well for you! Yeah its more important to check your carries berries every time you get close to a bossfight now. Used to be important to check for reviver seeds, but now you gotta keep track of berries as well. I don't think its too bad personally :)
Hi, I have both Zacian and Kartana, but their IVs suck. I've gotten Zacian to wave 1500 but its only got an attack IV of 9, so protein stacking finished quick for him. Now I'm really feeling the pressure of not being able to stack more vitamins and even my Charizard Y deals more damage now. Should I prioritise spread move Pokemons over Zacian and Kartana? For example Zygarde with Thousand Arrows, or Volcarona with Matcha Gotcha (egg move). Thanks :)
Spread move pokémons are for sure your best friend as a first carry in endless mode. Unless you're setting up different strategies that can come online earlier such as conversion shedinja. I am working on a part two / expansion of this guide. Stay tuned for that :) If you have more questions you can always join our Discord sever. We have several PokeRogue experts there helping people out!
At wave 2000 atm, its pretty much impossible to kill fused eterantus, i dont run out of pp and he cant hit my zachian but its just snowballing hp to full every turn😆😆😆
They are both important and its even better if you can pick a good pokemon that is also shiny. But I would say bringing shinies will probably help you more as so many different pokemon can serve as a carry/sweeper. Good luck with your runs!
I have a question, currently I'm in wave 2000 and my carry is primal groudon. Do you think it's worth to use seismic toss+night shade on it or should I just ditch my groudon?
No not worth it, you want to have a metal burster or shedinja at this point of endless. Very few carries can actually get to 3k - 3.5k which is the absolute limit for a non lategame strategy.
I have an Archaludon but it has no sturdy ability. Should I Fuse Garganacl first then? Or try to get another Archaludon? Edit: Ability comes from 2nd pokemon (Garganacl). So only Garg needs to have sturdy.
Good question! If you start your fusion with Garganacl you will not get the steel type from Arch as it takes the 2nd or only type from the pokemon that comes 2nd in the fusion. So you'd end up with a dragon/rock type pokémon and you want a steel type for the STAB damage on Metal Burst. So yeah try to get another arch or different sturdy steel pokemon. You can do it the other way around. So start with Arch and go 2nd with Garganacl, learn salt cure then unfuse and then fuse with a sturdy pokemon :)
@@Knetterkoekje I found out it is no problem if archeludon has sturdy or not. In fusion the ability of the second pokemon is taken. So if arch doesnt have sturdy it doesnt matter. But Garg needs to have it
For sure! As mentioned in the guide you can use your own puzzle pieces as long as the fit within the realms of the strategy discussed in the guide video. I think this is an excellent choice, just try to fuse it with a pokemon that has sturdy or wonderguard and you should be golden :)
Absolutely! A good pokémon to do anything with for that matter. But really, any strong pokémon can be your initial carry for endless. As is discussed in the video :)
What do you think about a normal pokemon fused with Shedinja/Wonder Guard? It will be only damaged by dark type attacks. Which moveset pool and normal pokemon should i go for?
Up to you friend! You might as well see how far you can get applying the tips that you can apply to your current run. It depends on how much you're struggling at 414, if not at all just continue :D
Thank you! Matcha Gatcha, Leech Seed, Shadow Ball and the last one was a bad move I didnt use (forgot). As its now fused with Latios I taught it Psychic as well ^_^
Congrats on beating classic mode! That is not an easy task. Yes its a lot, but just try to apply what you've learned and memorized. Feel free to check back to the video. I guess I really should add timestamps :o
@@Knetterkoekje i got a run going where i found an Archaludon but it didn’t have sturdy still caught it at round 30 then at 40 something a naclstack spawned but it didn’t have sturdy but now im thinking it might have been better to get that for Garganacl then get a sturdy metal burst mon later on. Hopefully i find a Garganacl tho. What do u think would be better to prioritize for that fusion? Edit: Nvm i know the answer I should have got Garg because only he knows salt cure in the wild and replace Arch with a sturdy steel maybe it will be around but i got zacian as my carry so I didn’t wanna get rid of it so fast.
Absolutely agree and I am advicing to use, and using the roguedex website myself all the time now, at the time of this video that site did not exist yet :)
I was so sad when i sold my first endless run i was using mega latios egg move dragon energy (super good for almost the whole run) but i ran into a shiny Grimsnarl which is a full counter to my pokemon but i wanted to catch it and it was in a double battle so my whole team was dread and i was on wave 2050 and got swept by a Iron Valiant edit: I’ve restarted the run and got Mega Latios at was 100
The double paradox encounters can be very difficult to deal with if you don't have two carries ready. It sucks that you lost your run to one. Hope your new run gets you even further friend :) Good luck have fun!
This game can be really challenging, I'm glad you pulled through though :D If you still need help to beat classic mode and this guide is not enough assistance, please feel free to hop into our Discord and we are happy to help you out :) discord.com/invite/ms3w9rFA6k
This is the best guide I could ask for, only one question you suggested multiple strategies, flinch, salt cure, leech seed, metal burst ect. Do I prioritize having all these mons throughout my run or shines to increase my luck. Ideally I could eventually get a red shiny duraladon and garganacle but until then do I sacrifice some of these strategies or the shiny luck? And do I need a mon per strategy or can one of them solely carry?
You kinda want 2 carries, but a single metal burster can also get you very far. I rarely use my leech seed setter even at wave 7k+ now, however I do have to use it from time to time. Don't forget about the double paradox mon battles which can be really difficult without two carries. Always prio shinies from the get go if you're starting an endless run :)
Hey, thank you for the great video :) How important are good IVs on my Pokemon? Its hard to get good ones on a legendary because you cant really catch or hatch them often. Is it better to use a worse Pokemon with better IVs?
Hello Eros! Thank you :) I am glad the video was useful for you. IVs are pretty important on your pokemons, but base stats are even more important. A legendary will almost always be better due to its base stats!
@@Knetterkoekje Thank you :) Yes, it really helped, it is really well structured, clear and information-heavy, what I like . Do you know, how much the IVs influence the stats of a Pokemon? Is it like in Base Games? What about lvl 101 and above then?
There is a point, if you can't set up your metal burst mon from the get go. It can be very valuable to max out your first carry with vitamins :) but if we're talking about the metal burst mon, no there really is no point ^^
I keep finding a hard wall at 1000. Is that typical? Recently, my White Kyurem was several hundred levels higher than Eternatus and gets OHKO’d. I had also had a steel/fairy secondary with gholdengo/nine tails fusion, that was also a higher level than eternatus, get completely pp stalled because it doesn’t do enough damage. How do you avoid OHKO and pp stalling?
A lot of runs end at 750 or 1000 don't worry about it. I think you just need some more experience and to improve and implement all the ideas and strategy discussed in my guide. You avoid OHKO with sturdy. Just come back stronger every time and one day you will make it deep into endless ^_^
I have said PP so many times tonight I kept running out of PP during my mono dragon type run (very hard btw cuz they all level so slow). I always forgot about the PP, its always a PP issue. Need more PP.
im in the very early 4000s with a team composition i ripped almost 1;1 from a comment on callum's video calyrex-shadow/magnezone: sturdy seismic toss night shade protect astral barrage/mirror coat (for bosses namely eternatus) this guy basically ohkos most regular mons he falls off versus bosses though linoone/garganacl: sturdy mud slap (with 5 multi lens this is an insane tech) fake out roar super fang doubles partner with extreme utility and cheese potential with mud slap (literally got me past a run-ending otherwise g-weezing minimize muk boss combo) mega gardevoir/rapidash: run away disable (for multi hit moves) misty terrain soak skill swap (this should be entrainment tbh but i cheaped out) the real utility mon with bonus of run away for running from bosses that are going to drain 5 minutes of my time per fight blissey/garganacl: sturdy metal burst leech seed salt cure protect this doesnt need explaining tbh big hp big burst yotta yotta these 4 are the main core of the team with calyrex being disgustingly overleveled for night shade/toss purposes then theres a primal kyogre that carried me through the 1000s and early 2000s that i now keep for very rare but appreciated when needed weather control (removing hail and making it easier to catch fire type mons) final slots just kinda filler rn ive been keeping a lone shiny in it for luck boosts this team could be optimized for sure but its working fine enough for me

Oh I see they have changed the wiki then. It said a factor of 4 first ~_~. Thanks for reporting I just checked it on the wiki. Honestly thats kinda lame having shinies be THIS common.
@@KnetterkoekjeI mean with three tiers of shinys I think it's fine, and you also don't have to pick up the shiny charms if you don't like it
@@Knetterkoekje They changed it after the event but nobody said anything about it.
If you wanna do this yourself shedinja with overcoat passive + sturdy skarmory
PS: anyone reading this should know this is a very fun strategy but its not practical at all you are far better off just listening to the video more closely rather than intentionally using an awful pokemon as your carry in hopes of stumbling upon an extremely rare item very early in the run just to get a broken combo, if you do manage to get it you have basically just won but your time would be better served just playing normally
How did you get sturdy on shedinja?
@@EnergizingBanehe used dna splicer item to fuse a shedinja to a skarmory with sturdy (the second pokemon you chose will inherit the ability)
The sprites in pokerogue is amazing

Much luck and fun for the next time you play PokeRogue :)
bro 10,000,000 triple cheeseburgers later i am fully stacked and evolving my consciousness into its final state
Thats... a lot of cheeseburgers haha. Nice :) Congrats on reaching the final stage of your consciousness friend.
Also forgot to add that the video is amazing and thank you for going into so much detail
Glad the video helped you out :) and thank you so much!
Why did they give goldengho contrary as its passive? With make it rain that's just insanely strong. Probably not optimal, but still good
Yeah Gholdengho was heavily buffed. I don't mind it, but there are other pokemon that could use some buffs/love imo.
@@Knetterkoekje completely unrelated, but I'm pretty sure that there asleep some pokemon that can't (yet) use or get candies, like Snorlax.
Exp balance is decent when your main mon is above the level cap
Unless it doesnt work like that
Sure but that means you're already at the point where it doesnt do anything for your team. However it is an idea to pick up 5 later on to thin the item pool further. Good thinking :)
Whats crazy about the new endless run is that its so much harder with the rng being no against u. I just got ohko 5 in a row
30:20 You don't need an innate flinch chance, as it does not stack with King's Rock. A multi target or even a multi hit move will serve you much better.
You're correct that was my mistake, but you don't really need any flinch pokémon to begin with haha.
Thx for the guide, this has been super helpful for starting my current endless run
I'm glad! Hope you have a ton of fun and a lot of luck with the current 3x shiny event :)
Gholdengo fusions are good to combat the dearth of money in endless. I've also found Archaludon to be good for beginners
maushold base (population bomb), splice with mon with skill link ability, get max multi lens and king's rock
40 attacks that have a decent chance to flinch
Thats a great one combined with 5 grip claws to do grand heists with :D
@@Knetterkoekje haven't tried it yet, but hopefully i will eventually
Would regidrago also work with this? Not sure how it would work off with dragon energy since its based on current hp
You mean as your initial carry? It would work but its nowhere near as good as some other carries especially for how much it costs to take on your team. If you want some inspiration for carries feel free to watch my carry guide: th-cam.com/video/V1197iiyZ1w/w-d-xo.html
Population bomb + grip claw and max accuracy is a great substitute for pickup, but it’s best to have both
That is some great tech for your pokeyen gains yup :)
Hey, what are your Latio's fused with. Not sure this is covered in the vid?
Yup exp balance is something you want to avoid at all times pretty much. Best of luck with the new run friend!
@@Knetterkoekje im currently using shadow rider calyrex as the carry and he's pretty busted as one is fr broken prevents the opponent to use berry and grants +1spatk on kill and she also has Astral Barrage which hits 2 Pokemons in double battle

Tomatoes, tomatos haha. 100 = 100% in this case.
I’m not sure mini black hole takes vitamins, I’ve had it on three mons and never seen that happen before
It is possible that this only worked in an older version of the game, however I have first hand experience of this (could have also been a bug on my part).
@@Kurisock01 yah no it doesn’t, I lucked out on my endless run with my first mini black hole in wave 2 and the entire time not once did it take the vitamin, I’ve been playing since early April too

is aggron with egg move salt cure always better cuz you don't really need to fuse with anything since it has everything
It is def better, the one thing you can do to improve it is fuse it with a pokemon that has a really high HP bst :)
@@Knetterkoekje which biome is blissey in
At the start of the game I’ve got lucky and got a legendary egg
Ho-Oh came out of it and it’s so bad, it learns like 5 fire type moves and many of them only have 5 pp. Also it learns them like the first level 45 and so on and after two failed runs in classic I haven’t used it. Should I use it for endless or should I just take good mons that aren’t legendary?
Ho-Oh is kind of underwhelming, probably better to take a different carry.
I think Zacian + togedemaru is the best fusion I’ve seen. It keeps attack and speed relatively high, is still fairy steel, gains fell stinger, and unnerve/sturdy, basically i think sturdy > beast boost
Thinking is one thing, first hand experience is another :P I promise you that doesnt hold up in the current endless.

@@Ungreycious Haha until a point where you start not OHKOing anything and everything. Which would be after wave ~4000-4500
Do you think hoopa with magician is a good early mon to use?
Yes Hoopa can be very strong and does not take long to be good so also nice for the early game. Try it out! :)
Miraidon is a beas too and its actually less cheesy and can get you everywhere aswell.
Its ability creates a Electric Field which boosts your sp ang combine this with its passive quark drive and a modest nature and you get a shit ton of Sp ang combine this even further with soul dews and vitamins and this mon is a nuclear powerhouse.
to take this even further the move : Rising Voltage (base power 70) gets its power doubled if an electric field is present to 140 combine this with electric fields effect of boosting electric type moves by 50% you get an Electric type move with a Power of 210 and 100 accruacy
and to top it off you can stack magnets that each time boosts your power by 20%.
Btw for fun: can mythicals be good carries like mew?
They absolutely can, and if you feel like giving any pokemon a spin and test their carry potential just go for it :)
one thing i think couldve been mentioned is that rockslide is really good for flinching in double battles. with wide lenses it just doesn't miss. also, i find double battles really awkward with sturdyburst strategy.
If I have 3 king rocks on my carry with 3 multi-lenses, using the move zen-headbutt 4 times, it’s a difference in calculation of
0,7^4 * 0,8^4
(counter probability assuming king rock is additive hitting 4 times and not flinching multiplied by the counter probability of zen-headbutt hitting 4 times and not flinching)
(roughly 10% of not flinching)
and
0,9^3^4 * 0,8^4
(Counter Probability of each 10% instance of a separate king rock not flinching, while hitting 4 times because of 3 multi-lenses * counter Probability of zen-headbutt hitting 4 times and not flinching)
(roughly 11,5% of not flinching).
Whether king rock is additive or not also matters more when using a move that does not have an innate flinch chance - in that case the difference is not only roughly 1,5%, but 4-5% between 71% vs. 76%.
It is additive if I'm not mistaken, great question!
I'm running spliced Celesteela/Mega Amphy with a candy jar build right now and it's going insane

@Knetterkoekje how are your pokemons on max berries in your endgame i dont see a pokemon with pickup or am i blind?
You are far from blind, they are healing back to HP. Its 3x Berry Pouch (75% chance to not consume a berry) + Mini black hole + Max Grip Claw that constantly steals berries if I do use one up that make for a (near) infinite amount of berries to be consumed :D
I need some advice-
I got to wave 1000 and get demolished.

Will the new change on the berry pouch change this strategies?
Great question, yes it will to some degree. I am working on a second / part two of this guide. Stay tuned friend!
So what is more important putting shinies on your team or putting good pokemon?
One very good starter and then only shinies. You want to maximize that pokemon. Since you don’t get enough exp to level up the whole team

Good question! If you start your fusion with Garganacl you will not get the steel type from Arch as it takes the 2nd or only type from the pokemon that comes 2nd in the fusion. So you'd end up with a dragon/rock type pokémon and you want a steel type for the STAB damage on Metal Burst. So yeah try to get another arch or different sturdy steel pokemon. I was so sad when i sold my first endless run i was using mega latios egg move dragon energy (super good for almost the whole run) but i ran into a shiny Grimsnarl which is a full counter to my pokemon but i wanted to catch it and it was in a double battle so my whole team was dread and i was on wave 2050 and got swept by a Iron Valiant
edit: I’ve restarted the run and got Mega Latios at was 100
The double paradox encounters can be very difficult to deal with if you don't have two carries ready. It sucks that you lost your run to one. Hope your new run gets you even further friend :) Good luck have fun!
Should I invest in stackattacka?
If you picked stack as your carry of course :D
I almost got wiped by latias at floor 80 💀
I had to use every ounce of my brain cells to calculate the amount of damage i would need to win.
@@Knetterkoekje Always appreciate the responses and advise
Hey, thank you for the great video :)
How important are good IVs on my Pokemon? Its hard to get good ones on a legendary because you cant really catch or hatch them often. Is it
better to use a worse Pokemon with better IVs?
Big problem I have is keeping up with xp
Yup this is what makes or breaks a run early on!
So there's no point to ever pick up hp,defense and sp defense vitamins right? Only attack and sp attack vitamins?
Eventually you hit a point where every pokemon one hits you. Picking up those items delay this but you have to decide yourself if that’s worth it
There is a point, if you can't set up your metal burst mon from the get go. It can be very valuable to max out your first carry with vitamins :) but if we're talking about the metal burst mon, no there really is no point ^^
The only pokemon who have sturdy and leech seed without fusing is ogerpon rock
Oh interesting never realised that ^_^
I keep finding a hard wall at 1000.
I know is childish but i cant help but smile when he says PP
I have said PP so many times tonight I kept running out of PP during my mono dragon type run (very hard btw cuz they all level so slow). I always forgot about the PP, its always a PP issue. Need more PP.
Didn't add the link to Pokemon moves that hit all other Pokemon
Fixed that :)
@@Knetterkoekje thanks! :)
im in the very early 4000s with a team composition i ripped almost 1;1 from a comment on callum's video
calyrex-shadow/magnezone: sturdy
seismic toss
night shade
protect
astral barrage/mirror coat (for bosses namely eternatus)
this guy basically ohkos most regular mons he falls off versus bosses though
linoone/garganacl: sturdy
mud slap (with 5 multi lens this is an insane tech)
fake out
roar
super fang
doubles partner with extreme utility and cheese potential with mud slap (literally got me past a run-ending otherwise g-weezing minimize muk boss combo)
mega gardevoir/rapidash: run away
disable (for multi hit moves)
misty terrain
soak
skill swap (this should be entrainment tbh but i cheaped out)
the real utility mon with bonus of run away for running from bosses that are going to drain 5 minutes of my time per fight
blissey/garganacl: sturdy
metal burst
leech seed
salt cure
protect
this doesnt need explaining tbh big hp big burst yotta yotta
these 4 are the main core of the team with calyrex being disgustingly overleveled for night shade/toss purposes
then theres a primal kyogre that carried me through the 1000s and early 2000s that i now keep for very rare but appreciated when needed weather control (removing hail and making it easier to catch fire type mons)
final slots just kinda filler rn ive been keeping a lone shiny in it for luck boosts
this team could be optimized for sure but its working fine enough for me
Sounds like a very good strat and im happy to hear its working out for you. Thanks for sharing!
