I shared how to make homemade bread with just 4 simple ingredients: flour, yeast, water and salt. With these simple ingredients found in every home, you will make a delicious bread. Also, this easy recipe does not require kneading. Making a quick and delicious bread is no longer a dream for beginners. It is almost impossible to distinguish this bread from kneaded bread. It is a bread that is crispy on the outside and soft and porous on the inside. Trust me and definitely try this recipe.
--370ml /12.5 oz/ 1.5 cups
Warm water
--10g/ 1 tbsp
dry yeast
--500g/17.6oz / 4 cups
Bread flour
--8g/ 1 tsp
salt
----Cook with the lid closed at 220°C / 428°F for 30 minutes.
--After 30 minutes, cook with the lid open.

I've been making my bread exactly like this for over a year. Every time, I've got a sly smile on my face while I'm doing it. Can't believe so many woman have been kneading for several minutes, over and over, for years, unnecessarily.
You know, I think, kneading is for something. Now we make 1 loaf and eat it for a couple of days. My grandma used to make bread for several weeks, and they had to knead it vigorously. My thought is that it helps preserve the bread? The bread should have been able to spring back when pushed down, not like nowadays - you squeeze it, and it sticks together. That would be a shame for the old breadmaker.

@@VB-lc4xzyes the more you knead the dough better it gets spongy because this way the east mixed liquid goes in every milli of grain Korse and dough gets fluffy, and gives longer life to ready to eat bread. 😋
@@VB-lc4xz Interesting. So, essentially, if people only wanted one loaf, and didn't expect it to last more than a day or two at most, then the above method would be fine. Your grandma's method was to make substantial bread that would last longer. This is so good to know 🙂

If you do that on parchment paper you'll save yourself a lot of hassle getting it into the pan

The oven should be at a high temperature and the quality of the flour is very important. Use the best for bread making.
Please Proof the Yeast in a lil warm water and sugar or small amount of flour to determine if your Yeast Colony Blooms nicely and iS ready to work before addinG the other ingredients as old yeast doesn't work very good!✌🤓🌹🥐🌹

Gorgeous, and so easy; I need some butter! Unfortunately I hate the thought of crankin' up my oven for an hour, esp. during the hot Texas summer. I'm curious whether bread can be cooked in a cast iron Dutch oven on the stove top, and then browned or "finished" in the oven??
This process seems logical, but when you put the cast iron in the oven, the oven should be at the same temperature. Otherwise, the dough will absorb it and the bread will be very bad. Omg. I’m so excited. I think this may be the bread recipe I’ve been looking for! Anyone have any thoughts on how long it takes for the dough to double in size while resting? Just a round figure?
I’ve been making a similar boule and it comes out perfect every time. The recipe I use says to wait 6 hours before baking. Good luck.

Dopo aver realizzato la croce, ho spruzzato dell'acqua.
Se la ghisa è troppo calda, l'impasto non si attaccherà. Ma puoi usare la carta oleata se lo desideri.

The proportions of all recipes are correct. There is a problem with the flour you use or the oven temperature. I make this recipe all the time. Please don't give up, I'm sure you will succeed.
Are you using bread flour? It's not the same as all-purpose flour.

@@pamelastorer8570 As I remember, bread flour has malt in it, and has a higher gluten content. I accidentally bought some and was amazed at the difference. It kneaded easier, rose faster, etc. Look on the label at the store.
I assume after the 30 minutes of cooking with the lid on you cook until browned on the top. It’s not a specific amount of time

I like this good, simple, straightforward recipe, and the video is beautifully produced. I am going to make a loaf based on it right after write this. EXCEPT you left out one thing, in both the video and the description. It is so obvious I suspect you did it on purpose, but why? So I have to ask, how long do you suggest keeping it in the oven AFTER removing the lid?
Good question. are quite right. The baking time of the bread with the lid closed will vary according to everyone's oven and the pot they use. The bread will not bake before 30 minutes. Therefore, the lid should be on for the first 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, I said to continue baking without the lid. Thank you.
