- The much expected BMW R1300GS Adventure was just launch at BMW Motorrad days in Garmish. We were there to catch it on camera for you guys. Tell us what do you think about the looks of this new model.
I'd recommend Random Drug Tests at the BMW Design Studio.
Suppose when your sitting on it you don't have to look at it 😂😂
That’s what we aleays say!
I used to have a girlfriend like that 🤣
😂
You'd have to ride it with your eyes closed.
And they say the Germans don't have a sense of humour 😂
Makes the Pan America look like a supermodel.
It's been a long wait but at least now after seeing it I can now cross it off my wishlist.
What have you done BMW! I have owned oil/air and water cooled GSA’s and always loved the look of them but this is hideous! I think you will loose a lot of buyers with this monstrosity. ☹️
Your opinion is not fact. If you dont like it, dont buy it
A toaster on wheels, good job BMW… 😂😂😂
Really horrible. Bring back who ever designed the 1250. These designers lost it totally.....
Looks like the Lego gs
One less thing for me to covet in life
My R1250 GSA just took me on a 12-hour trip in 100* weather and didn’t miss a beat. Think I’ll hang on to it.
C´MON, AREN-T YOU GONNA BUY THIS BEAUTY????? HAHAHAHAHA
Somebody got paid to design that 😂😂
No it was done by a robot
Probably Ducati paid the guy....HAHAHAHAHA
What an unbelievably ugly bike! 😂 In combination with these boxy, heavy panniers and the ridiculous topcase you have a proper tank. BMW, bunch of comedians!
New owners will really stand out, not least for being a rare breed.
Looks amazing, modern and bold.
I ordered the Option 719 today, arrives Jan 2025
Let's put two more wheels on that, a Thule Trunk, and it's a Adventure Van. 😂😂😂 Couldn't even watch this "perfect" adventure "something". Anyways strange adventure concept on this bike
Can´t believe! This bike was horrible!!!
I love this Bike has all the features I need to tour America in comfort
Just wonder how they got it so wrong
Even the Motorrad guy was speechless lol
Honestly I don’t think it looks bad
In one year time, this thing will become beauty, and sales will be pure success. I'm sure.
I didn’t expect the 1250GSA follow up to be better looking, and BMW Motorrad did Not dissapoint…
Best video on the bike so far today..........
Look, I ride a BMW and for 40 years it’s been my favourite motorcycle brand, but that sure is an ugly duckling of a motorcycle 🇬🇧
I love it. I can't wait to ride it.
The first adventure bike to make the Panamerica look cool.
It would be in harmony and look better with the square wheels, I think 🤔
What a complete mess of a bike.. Bmw shocking bad design
Looks like a Blade Runner bike, not my taste. Also I can see that all the luggage is to use only BMW’s ones.
Blade Runner the movie;
Because i think is from...Mad Max movie!
It's hideously ugly! Stocky and overweight. Not my cup of tea at all. My 1250GS will be my last BMW.
On my 3rd GSA since my first in September 2018 and love them; this generation didn’t click with me straight off but the more I see, the more I like it too. Looking forward to seeing one in my local dealer by the end of the year👌🏻
You'd have have to "Ride it from behind" to enjoy it.
There's a dirty joke in there somewhere!
"Definitely the most lovely bike ever, Yabba Dabba Dooo!" (F. Flintstone)
I am more interested on how it rides. I find my current 1250GSA to be pretty sporty, so when I go on tours I can also do some fast stints in the twists, while still being able to travel full days without doing laundry each night. So I am keen to hear more about suspension and how the updated telelever/paralever behaves on this one. As far as looks, it works on me. I like the sharp edges, the new panniers. Build quality also looks nicer than previous generation. The one thing I am not sold on is the clutches ASA, but probably I'd need to test ride one first.
ASA is optional
The GS1300 was launched and came under a lot of criticism, I wasn’t fussed on its look, but it is the top selling adventure bike. So BMW had to be radical, the new Adventure is a utilitarian 2up touring machine and you could say was designed by CAT, Tonka and Equinox. Fit a darkened screen on the triple black, spray the silver winglets black and you will have one mean looking mother of a bike. My order is in 👍
its like when the new 1300gs came out - a lot of hate, but now those people are so quiet, and i see every day more and more 1300gs on the streets. It will be the same with the adventure.
No still hate the 1300
@@motoclonkdribblehead5423 you can hate it how much u want, but people are buying the new 1300 every day, thats a fact.
Great for my shop at Tesco’s 🤘🏻
People wanted Utilitarian unlike the 1300 but don't like this GSA
Who are these people that you are speaking for? 😂😂 I'm betting it sells like the old GSA's did.
Thks for the vid, its fugly but no doubt it will make a famtastic tourer
That's a lot of luggage to get to Starbucks :)
A Piece of Art
Tracy emin would put a condom on it
The disappointment of the decade.
I will be sticking with my 2014 1250, GSA Trophy
That bike literally does not exist. 2014 is a 1200gs. Bullshit comment.
Thought this was the hybrid from BMW
It's surely an adventure. At least for the liver and the heart to go to the shop and take one
Reminds me of Soviet brutalism.
Right. Like a 1980 Belarus tractor.
I like the looks of the gold wheeled rallye version
I though my 1250 GSA was the ugliest bike of the production. I was wrong …
😂😂😂
🤣🤣
Bro you haven't seen the world enough if you say GSA is ugly
Imagine the horror when you finally see a Harley Davidson Pan-America 🤣😂
@@Donkeys_Adventure bro if you are complaining about Pan America don't see its buell brother "ulysses xb12x"
Eu já achava a minha GSA 1250 linda, agora estou admirando mais ainda..
I'm only curious to see what drugs BMW engineers are on to create such an ugly bike...riding a GSA1250 now, the next one will not be a 1300GSA..
I think it looks cool and people will buy them a lot as always...
The front and the back looks exactly the same with panniers on. No thx. Best to ride after dark, and avoid the embarrassment.
Well it's highly utilitarian!
I am glad I bought shares in triumph 😁
Hai în trending!
I don't like it.
Love it, probably more because most don't.
I'm glad I bought the 2024
Ugly, what of the rear lights. We need to be seen. What has BMW motorrad done with the GSA!
An Italian designer is recommended in bmw!
No just somebody who can see
Did the original DUCATI MULTISTRADA designer have a hand in this. It’s properly ugly - fugly in fact.
I like it. Cool modular luggage attachments.
Indeed
its only 700$ for side tank ones :D
I guess it's not as ugly when covered up with luggage. Seems much more niche to me than the old GSA.
Looks a lot better in the walk around. Might need those ugly side panels painted to look better I think
WTF are they thinking ,i was really wanting to upgrade but dam that's awful looking . I get the functionality for luggage but to completely disregard the looks for a bike that will cost over $30k , ill keep my 1250 and look to Ducati for my next bike , so disappointed
Exactly my feeling. I’m going to Suzuki for my next bike. This is the worse gs design ever. Only reason I’d accept it would be if it had a hybrid engine or something like that. I would understand it then . This is a disaster.
@@Labgorilla- Triumph 1200 Explorer, or dare I say Harley PanAm
BMW dropped the ball..😢
WC design!
My guess is they are preparing us for the inevitable EV conversion by styling it with square battery space -styling. Wanna bet?
That will kill the pleasure!!!
Pues ami me encanta.
I like it!
@@roadglide we like it also!
the design of the tank is like a cooling box is fitted 🙁
My next bike for sure!
This one only takes four latte sippers to help pick up when the rider tips over outside the AdventurecCafe😅
;))) good one!
It's strange but I like it 🤟
Horrible design🤷🏻♂️
So I don’t think you will see as many guys cross-shopping this with the GS, like we saw with the 1250. You’re going to know which one you want.
BMW hat fantastische Reisemotorräder gebaut, aber wer braucht so ein Schlachtschiff? Das hat mit der Leichtigkeit des Motorradfahrens nichts mehr zu tun. 🤔
OHHH, Ducati you made a beautiful Multistrada Rally compared to this box.
The designer DIDN'T go to the Italian school of design. Is it a cooler box on wheels ???
THAT DESIGNER HAD TO BE PAID BY DUCATI,,,,,HAHAHAHAHA
Uuuggglllyyy and crazy heavy
C’est la légendaire légèreté Allemande 😂
WTF is this square motorcycle???? 🤣🤣🤣
BMW thought that focus groups were unnecessary . It’s genuinely horrendous. If I see one on the road I will give that rider the thumbs down.
No
Прикольно, мне уже нравится начинает.
🤮 will keep my 1250GSA
I have always been a GS fan, not a GSA fan. I'm torn in my opinion of it. Looks wise the GS as always looks better than the GSA, but tge out of the box utility has really gone up with this iteration.
I think it looks already better then the normal GS 1300. True it is a new look and misses somewhat the rough look but do not think it is an Ugly bike. Getting used to it, yes. I will buy one.
Land Rover Defender on two wheels
I think this is exactly the look they have aimed at!
You've been bought and sold.
I don’t know why everyone says this is ugly. Just close your eyes & it isn’t!😵💫😱🤣
🧱🧱🧱This is like a model from before the fall of the Berlin wall. Model Stalingrad !🧱🧱🧱🧱
Ah the lego Edition
Now I regret selling my 1250GSA >_> I started to hate it, but now I see a mistake was made xD
Who, at 1.75, can reach the ground with their feet?
They wanted to make a statement... mission achieved. Seeing these variants, I think it is actually growing on me.
it looks like it was built by the Russians
there he
BMW needs to keep their car design teams away from the Motorcycle division. Those guys already screwed up the car designs badly.
It looks cool. Very distopian, very Dredd.
It’s waaaaaaay too wide.
