Yes...people without political and social agendas, people who want to entertain, not preach their sjw religion to those who could care less about it...
The Disney Original Trilogy with more details on how Anakin met Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon was interesting and other cut-out scenes from the Trilogy as well, however, seeing a shortened version of all 3 episodes into one was impressive.
Amazingingly edited, I've all films ,watched like most many times ,this was very enjoyable ...many thanks 🙏👍 So when Obi Wan (at 1:21:39) jumps down to face General Grievous and says :- "HELLO THERE" This two word welcome came about from a teacher of ours. . He's from Liverpool and good mate of mine, before he was Adidas VP Europe, he was our lecturer in Business Studies ('88-90) working for a college we attended. . He (T) had nicknames for all us 16yr olds on course , I was 'Nick the Man' and he was a comedic talented educated fella, whom welcomed late comers to class with... "HELLO THERE" , it was remembered by other class mates, one whom went on to write ✍️ and wrote parts of the script for LUCAS in USA. He remembered our lecturer T and his "Hello There " and so used it for Ewans portrayal of Obi Wan... "Hello There ...."
The Millennium Falcon can be seen landing at the bottom landing ramp as the shuttle carrying Anakin, Obi-Wan & Palpatine lands on the top ramp at 1:09:34! It's small so pause it at 1:09:34 & look where I said & you'll see it!
+Karen catizone... It may be a similar freighter and not the actual Millenium Falcon. Im pretty sure its not a one-off just a bog standard freighter that has been highly modified over a long period. But you are right i just looked and there "it" is....
I always thought the slanting opening summary that goes into space is unique and a noveity but it was done in Sapphire and Steel , a British tv series of the 70s . Enjoyed this.
Decent edit. It made Anakin and Palpatine's relationship make a little more sense, and emphasized Anakin's concern for Padme. A bit action-heavy for me. I would have omitted the ending where we see Padme giving birth and naming the twins. It would have been more surprising in the original trilogy to find out that not only is Anakin alive, but his children also survived. We also could have assumed Leia grew up with Padma for a time, which would have made her line about remembering her mother in Return of the Jedi make sense. That said...when all you've got is lemons, it's hard to make anything more than lemonade. Anakin and Obi-wan's dialogue in Revenge of the Sith is still painful. Anakin's inane reason for turning to the Dark Side and his apparent stupidity are still there. Still would love to see the Topher Grace edit. 😎
I remember watching this back years ago and thought it was great...and it still is, but I now see that some of the things from Episode I that should be re-edited into it like the pod race which is a great way to show Anakin's force abilities as well as some of the ground battle and the space battle on Naboo...not a lot but just a little for the context of the feud between the Trade Federation and the planet of Naboo. I still love the edit on the Kenobi and Maul part at the end. Kenobi was pissed and the edit shows it well. Well done by all involved over the years of this fan edit.
I sort of wish a full length movie or 2 could be made where The First Jedi came about, how the lightsaber was adapted (almost exclusively), & how the Jedi Order was established!
Yeah, I've kinda pictured that movie in my head as well... My take would be to do a version of the classic Romulus & Remus myth about brotherly betrayal (or sisters, doesn't rlly matter) as an origin-story for the Jedi and the Sith. Set on some primitive backwater planet bereft of modern technology (to set up the swords & knights stuff for later) and then maybe introduce a hostile, more advanced alien species they have to go up against (before turning on each other), so that's how lightsabers enter into the story.
I just watched this beginning to end the other day. I will have to say an excellent edit job was done. Over six hours was masterfully condensed down to about 2 hours of the downfall of Anakin Skywalker. I would think George Lucas would be appreciative of this Fan Edit.
I must say that this was nicely done....Once thought one of the parts that I missed was when Darth was told that his woman was dead. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
This is beautiful the most unexpected part was the revenge of the sith opening segment and how clever the cuts in scenes and music were to shorten the film. Absolutely brilliant
Thanks for the fanedit. My personal preference is starting at 45:30 onwards. Right to the action and a starting crawl can explain the background briefly enough. That's just me.
Not a good idea changing the quality of the movie such as zoom-in that you can't see the action you don't know what's going on, ugly sound, backwards, missing action that you cut the scene to shortening the good story. Instead of destroying the quality it might as well put it in the small screen size without changing all those quality as I mentioned. The TH-cam, movie seller, website movie pay won't say anything because it's already in an ugly small screen size movie. The upload quality of the movie is excellent. If those qualities were degraded no one will watch it unless if somebody is desperately want to watch even though couldn't understand what's going on just to kill the time lol. Editorbinks, thnx for that excellently, smartly, beautiful upload.
The first film needed to be included more, especially to focus less around Anakin. As much as I dislike a lot of the stuff in the first film, it is important to consider how it served to draw attention away from his significance for the later plot development surrounding him.
This movie is one of the good ones but let's not forget star wars is the best off world movie that's ever hit the big screen. And you know this man😂😂😂😂😂
Uhhh, no. 🙄 🤦♂️ 😒 Not a single Star Wars movie outside of the original trilogy has entered the library of congress for historic preservation nor won any significant film award. Yes, the Star Wars nerds will “pass it on to their children’s children”, but the blemishes of all the bad prequels/sequels after the original trilogy will also “never die”.. lol 🤦♂️
Star Wars , no one knew how far this would go. Most of us live on Terra , but to get away from this crazy planet for a short time watching is relaxing. Scottish guys in dresses are hilarious !. Many thanks guys. Dave😮😊
I think the failure of the prequels was that they *told* us things rather than *showing* us things. I think if we had less exposition and more things in the background, they would have been much better. What if the Republic just kind of built a Clone army because the Separatists had, instead, already built up a droid army and declared war by Episode 2? We wouldn't need to see the Kamino plot. We would just see things work well if we, perhaps, heard Clones talking about training or battles. They're Clones, but they're still people. They talk. They have relationships. A movie *following* a squad of Clones through the war would be pretty nice, or at least, a portion of a movie following certain Clones through the war would be pretty nice. The Clone Wars animated series itself was pretty nice because it added a lot more humanity to the characters we'd seen before, and that was one of the major reasons why it was so well-received, at least from what I can tell. This is an excellent fan edit, and remains loyal to things that matter. We don't see Jar Jar as a comical idiot, but we do see him take on a serious role. Jar Jar doing serious things is kind of nice. We see Anakin's emotions get the better of him, while still seeing him a bit troubled by questioning his morals and his beliefs. We sort of really do see him seduced by the Dark Side, but not in such a horrible, painstakingly long manner.
Yes episode 1 had too much CGI and Jar Jar Binks, pretty annoying. Then the Jedi were too complacent and not aware of the dangers of a Sith in their presence.
Agreed. The brevity of it really gave the action that much more of an impact. Even opens up the quick victory up to the interpretation that Obi had to tap into a sliver of the dark side to get that rage-induced edge for the quick win. Of course, that's just me thinking too deeply into it. Buuut...even with that, that's essentially a apart of the point of these sort of things also!
This was genuinely brilliant. During the Mustafar scenes where you've edited out certain lines of dialogue the lack of music is very apparent and slightly jarring. It also sounds like there's some distortion in the last bit where Anakin is lying burning, and Obi-Wan is shouting at him; as though the volume is cutting out a little. Ultimately just technical stuff... Frankly this is FAR better than the prequels as a whole. The editing of Episode 2 that made Anakin's and Padme's relationship look more like he was being persistent to the point of gas-lighting, that was great. Makes sense that Vader would have a warped idea of love based on what his own desires rather than a mutual attraction and affection. The beginning was very quick cut, perhaps it was a little over-cut; but it ended up being an ultimately far better film as a whole than any of the prequel films alone. Well done.
thanks the gaslighting was exactly what I was going for! He's a creep and successfully manipulates Padme into loving him. And that distortion is TH-cam's fault, it caught a copyright on that song at that part and tried to remove it I guess? And it's too late to fix because it has too many views. But I have a copy here, without the distortion: avergenceintheforce-blog.tumblr.com/ And the beginning is choppy I agree, because I tried to keep as much as I could but still keep the film to a normal film length. And I didn't want to start with the the Maul fight like a lot of other recuts. But I hit what story beats I felt important to the overall story of Anakin so I'm satisfied with it.
Would make 3 changes: padme being convinced to hold a vote of no confidence which causes palpatine to become supreme chancellor. Thats the most important scene in the first movie. Anakin and padmes romance needs way more scenes for it to be earned. Add the scene where they are playing in the field BEFORE the scene they kiss on the balcony. (It just seems like they kiss out of nowhere in this version). Keep their marriage scene in also. Then we would understand Anakins anguish when she is dying. When Darth Vader finds asks if Padme is alive and says NOOO. That was too tragic and iconic to cut out.
I remember when I was 15, in 1976 the first star war, Me and my friends talked about the movie for months , It was amazing , What a great movie for that year. And still like after 47 years ,, I have a book written in 1890 with very amazing information, teach that the chosen of God will travel far beyond into the Universe of God , Good book, I believe the future will bring a special day, We will see God.
Even truncated to 2 hours or so, the dialogue between Anakin and Padme cringes to the depths of my soul. Now that it appears they won't take it down, I might make my own version with just action and literally no dialogue except Yoda and C-3PO.
Tech 52 it's all necessary, this editing is missing some vital information so if this is your first time watching the movies then you should watch the first movie up to where this edit starts.
I particularly like the transition into Episode III, it's a really good match shot that conveys that time has passed (I also noticed the bit of the Clone Wars rendition of the main theme to make the musical transition- good use of resources, I bet that took ages to find and make work). I was disappointed with the time skip to Episode II when I saw it, but honestly there's just no good material to show the passage of time there. Excellent cutting my dude
I get where you're coming from, but to include Shmi, they would've had to include a whole bunch of Tatooine stuff, such as the podrace. Ultimately, seeing Anakin's reaction to her death is all the story really needs. However, in a different world where the prequels had been written better, Shmi should have had more done with her character, I agree!
This is amazing. I'm going to take my 83 year old mother, who took me to see the original at the drive-in in 1978, to see the new film. I don't want to explain everything. That way she can figure out what's going on. This very much helps by removing totally irrelevant content.
Man, you're as old as I am. I remember seeing this at a local theater with my mom for .99 cents PER person on Thursday nights in Lodi Ohio... man, what a memory * THESE films made memories for us.
friend: you cant watch all of the prequels in 2 hours and ten minutes. me: I have become more powerful then any jedi, even master yoda. my knowledge of the force is far superior to you friend: is it possible to learn this power?
7:11 : probably the one Master Yoda's quote thats is not in his signature passive sentence form this is ! 🧐 : _ " Everything ... the path to the dark side , fear is. To anger fear leads, to hate anger leads, to suffering hate leads ... " how written it should be, this is ☝️🤓 Agree with me, you must say it if you do not ! 😅
This is legit a good movie with this edit. Now, I'm one of those people who grew up with the prequels as a kid, so I'll always view them through nostalgic rose goggles (kinda like the older people do now with Episode 6), so I've always enjoyed Episodes 2 and 3 and I always will. I think Episode 3 is a good film, nostalgia or not. It's certainly the one that tugs on my heartstrings the most, out of both trilogies. The Phantom Menace is such a mess, however. I loved it when I went to see it with my family as a 9 year old kid, but I just can't stomach it now that I'm an adult. What you see from Episode 1 in this edit are (with one or two exceptions) the things that can be salvaged from that movie. Now it's 2018, and Disney has made the terrible and uninspiring Episodes 7 and 8, not including Rogue One (which I enjoyed - it gets a 7/10 from me). I'm catching Ep 8 on bluray, but I don't personally know many people who left the theatre even remotely satisfied. From the internet's reaction, I think something a friend said to me: "If you don't like 7, you won't like 8" is pretty much true, and Episode 7 is not good. The effects are neat, but it is so bloody uninspiring and the main character so uninteresting, it just sucks across the board. Just the way they wasted the old cast... Now that we've seen what Disney, Brutus-Kathleen Kennedy and Jar-Jar Abrams have done to the new trilogy (lore-wise, if nothing else), I think I'm not alone in thinking "Gee, I wish it was Lucas making the new trilogy instead". Gee, I wish it was Lucas making the new trilogy instead.
Honestly, I find the whole 'Young Anakin Skywalker' story contradicts what Lucas originally presented in the first trilogy and by what Obi-Wan Kenobi had told Luke regarding his father and how he knew him.
Many times I thought about doing a prequel fan edit, but now I don't have to because you got everything perfectly right. This is excellent! This segues perfectly into Rogue One. The original spirit of the story is finally found from your tighter and more focused storyline. If Disney and George Lucas knew what a gift you gave, Disney would release your edit with Lucas' blessing as 3-D in the theaters.
One change suggestion: The Viceroy and the others of his race (can't remember name) benefit GREATLY from the Anti-Cheese Edit's technique of replacing their speech with garbled alien voices and subtitles. Seriously, it makes them WAY better.
This is a nice thing for people who don't like the prequels Me personally I do like the prequels So l like the thought of helping people enjoy the prequels that don't And I liked the video and subscribed because of that But Anakin being a slave is very important because it shows the tragedy It shows that even tho he has this horrible life he's still innocent And is still a good person who wants to help people Having the fight between Darth maul and at the beginning is cool but it ruins the important meaning of the scene This fight is the FATE of anakins legacy having it at the very start of the movie in dose that because you don't know how important this fight is because you haven't witnessed qui-gon fighting for anakin to be trained by him and to be set free Taking away the scene where anakin says he hates sand Is taking away the tragedy of him being a slave However because he's not shown as a slave in this movie I guess it works But it makes it slightly more unlikely he would turn to the dark side Another thing missing is the clone scene this is very important it explains the clones and the clone war Another thing missing is anakin not being granted rank of master he needs this to save padme so that is the most important scene in ROTS Look I appreciate the hard work but Context is everything If the things you don't like are missing the story no longer makes sense because of context

That's not very good advice. I wish people wouldn't taut around their six-second attention spans as something to be proud of.
I love how succinct this all is. It summarizes the whole prequels with efficient pacing, and entertaining throughout.

This two word welcome came about from a teacher of ours.
+Karen Catizone wtf that's weird
+Karen catizone... It may be a similar freighter and not the actual Millenium Falcon. Im pretty sure its not a one-off just a bog standard freighter that has been highly modified over a long period. But you are right i just looked and there "it" is....
lol , nice !!!
you are strong in the force
Karen Catizone no kidding
I always thought the slanting opening summary that goes into space is unique and a noveity but it was done in Sapphire and Steel , a British tv series of the 70s . Enjoyed this.
It was done in Flash Gordon before that.
@@runi5413 good storyline! Thank you 🤓
i never watched a movie on youtube i was so ecxited thank you for making this movie you are the best
So this is how a new era of Star Wars began, with the birth of the twins. Thank you so much for posting. 🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍
Thank you SOOOOOO much for editing out Jar Jar Binks & the Gungins!!! That alone was worth watching it!!!
Jar jar is the ultimate sith when padme left him twice to oversee her politician matters
This is great for those who have seen the movies. It cuts the crap and goes straight to the good stuff
It's crazy in this cut to see how fast the Jedi go from peacekeeping to military trained soldiers.
I would have kept the line "Obiwan is going to kill me" in the droid factory scene
I just watched this beginning to end the other day. I will have to say an excellent edit job was done. Over six hours was masterfully condensed down to about 2 hours of the downfall of Anakin Skywalker. I would think George Lucas would be appreciative of this Fan Edit.
Excellent movie. Very engaging. The best of the re-edits in my opinion.
Thank you, so glad all the bloat was removed but the edit is still smooth and cohesive. Excellent Job!
An absolute masterpiece of video editing 👌
Unbeatable good film. This quality, we do not have anymore today
The 3 bloated movies are still better than the cesspool known as the sequels.
they're not even bloated, it's just boomers loving to bitch about them for some reason. the prequels are better than the OT in literally every way
Thanks for the fanedit. My personal preference is starting at 45:30 onwards. Right to the action and a starting crawl can explain the background briefly enough. That's just me.
I'll try re-editing, that's a good trick
Kameari Kill Screen savage
Now this is podracing!

Kameari Kill Screen 99l999
That was THE ONLY PART which i've never seen, but the most important one, one which make the sense for all further parts.
Star wars fan my whole life. This was most excellent! Thank you for sharing.
I watched the whole thing. I just realize this is an edit YUB NUB LOL. Nice job you did. Good they put it back haha
And you know this man😂😂😂😂😂
Star Wars Legacy will Never Die our children children and then next 1000 year's will be amazed and intrigued for centuries to come
Uhhh, no. 🙄 🤦♂️ 😒 Not a single Star Wars movie outside of the original trilogy has entered the library of congress for historic preservation nor won any significant film award. Yes, the Star Wars nerds will “pass it on to their children’s children”, but the blemishes of all the bad prequels/sequels after the original trilogy will also “never die”.. lol 🤦♂️
This is perfect!!! Well done!!
Star Wars , no one knew how far this would go. Most of us live on Terra , but to get away from this crazy planet for a short time watching is relaxing. Scottish guys in dresses are hilarious !. Many thanks guys. Dave😮😊
nice attention to detail making obi wan's saber blue after he defeats Maul given your edit.
Enjoyed your Readers Digest condensed edit version very much! Hope you continue with updated versions!
Thanks!
Perfect edit of Obi Wans deadly lightsaber strike to Maul. Much better without the "cliffhanger".
I agree with that, it was very close cut.
And he even remembered to change the green blade to blue
Meh, it highlights the "high ground, " situation in Ep 3 where obi wan strikes down anikan.
The edit simplifying the dual of the fates sabre fight made it much better.
But I have a copy here, without the distortion: avergenceintheforce-blog.tumblr.com/
And the beginning is choppy I agree, because I tried to keep as much as I could but still keep the film to a normal film length. And I didn't want to start with the the Maul fight like a lot of other recuts. But I hit what story beats I felt important to the overall story of Anakin so I'm satisfied with it.
Would make 3 changes:
padme being convinced to hold a vote of no confidence which causes palpatine to become supreme chancellor.
The first Star Wars movie was released in 1977!!!
1977
Even truncated to 2 hours or so, the dialogue between Anakin and Padme cringes to the depths of my soul.
Now that it appears they won't take it down, I might make my own version with just action and literally no dialogue except Yoda and C-3PO.
anyone that has never seen the movies would have no idea what size going on
Judge me by my size, do you?
Tech 52 Don't watch them. They are worse.
Tech 52 the Prequels are good
Tech 52 it's all necessary, this editing is missing some vital information so if this is your first time watching the movies then you should watch the first movie up to where this edit starts.
I never disliked the prequels as much as most, but this Fanedit is brilliant. Great work!
Same. They really aren’t that bad.
I never even knew they were disliked. They were always my favs since I watched as a kid/teenager
Ну фак на .удачачу😂😂😂😂😂
I particularly like the transition into Episode III, it's a really good match shot that conveys that time has passed (I also noticed the bit of the Clone Wars rendition of the main theme to make the musical transition- good use of resources, I bet that took ages to find and make work). I was disappointed with the time skip to Episode II when I saw it, but honestly there's just no good material to show the passage of time there. Excellent cutting my dude
Over 45 years later and that John Williams of Star wars hits me every time.
😅
A Very Well Done Fan Edit, Thank You Editor Binks.
I love everything about this edit: except the absence of Shmi. She's the most underrated prequel character, and the movie feels strange without her.
I remember seeing this at a local theater with my mom for .99 cents PER person on Thursday nights in Lodi Ohio... man, what a memory
* THESE films made memories for us.
friend: you cant watch all of the prequels in 2 hours and ten minutes.
me: I have become more powerful then any jedi, even master yoda. my knowledge of the force is far superior to you
friend: is it possible to learn this power?
This is a fantastic edit. Well done.
7:11 : probably the one Master Yoda's quote thats is not in his signature passive sentence form this is ! 🧐 :
_ " Everything ...
the path to the dark side , fear is. To anger fear leads, to hate anger leads, to suffering hate leads ... " how written it should be, this is ☝️🤓
Agree with me, you must say it if you do not !
I loved it. Amazing talent you have.
Osm dear
This is good, no great, no fkn phenomenal! Thank you I am enjoying this immensely.
Thank you for the kind words!
Theo Cecil DeCelles he told weto

Great content, made the prequels much more to the point.
Thank you !
One change suggestion: The Viceroy and the others of his race (can't remember name) benefit GREATLY from the Anti-Cheese Edit's technique of replacing their speech with garbled alien voices and subtitles. Seriously, it makes them WAY better.
Yeah but they have Chinese accents because they are analogy for China being the trade federation here on earth.
They are Neinmodians from Cato Nienmodia
@@ekoms108 actually they're Japanese accents

This was excellent! 👏🏼 really well done and fully enjoyable. Thank you!
Awesome job on this! Thank you so much.
You’ve done something I could never do. Definitely your calling. Keep it up.
The force is with you.
Thank you for keeping Jar Jar out🙏😀👍
very fast paced and much more enjoyable, well done
I liked this. Cuts to the heart of the Anakin/Darth Vader story without having to re-slog thru the awful prequel trilogy again.
Cutting out the Yoda fight cut out the heart and soul of the movie. Peace out.
This is a nice thing for people who don't like the prequels
Me personally I do like the prequels
So l like the thought of helping people enjoy the prequels that don't
And I liked the video and subscribed because of that
But
Anakin being a slave is very important because it shows the tragedy
It shows that even tho he has this horrible life he's still innocent
And is still a good person who wants to help people
Having the fight between Darth maul and at the beginning is cool but it ruins the important meaning of the
scene
This fight is the FATE of anakins legacy having it at the very start of the movie in dose that because you don't know how important this fight is because you haven't witnessed qui-gon fighting for anakin to be trained by him and to be set free
Taking away the scene where anakin says he hates sand
Is taking away the tragedy of him being a slave
However because he's not shown as a slave in this movie I guess it works
But it makes it slightly more unlikely he would turn to the dark side
Another thing missing is the clone scene this is very important it explains the clones and the clone war
Another thing missing is anakin not being granted rank of master he needs this to save padme so that is the most important scene in ROTS
Look I appreciate the hard work but
Context is everything
If the things you don't like are missing the story no longer makes sense because of context
